Two of the best middleweight fighters in the world, Emeev (15-3-0, М-1: 9-1-0) and Tokov (24-3-0, М-1: 8-2-0), battled from to start to finish as Emeev won a three-round split decision for his fourth consecutive victory.

Undefeated Russian Moysar Evoloev remained undefeated (6-0-0, М-1: 6-0-0) by taking a three-round unanimous decision over American Lee “Американський бульдог” Моррісон (15-8-0, М-1: 2-5-0) at a 140-pound (63.5 кг) catchweight.

Russian lightweight Khamzat Dalgiev (8-1-0, М-1: 5-1-0), fighting at home in Ingushetia, chocked British-invader Christian “The Animal” Holley (10-3-0, М-1: 0-1-0) into a submission in the second round.

Моррісон (15-7-0, М-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, М-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.

Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, М-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 кг) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Павло Вітрука by decision at M-1 Challenge 58.

Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Challenge 66 (pictured below).

Rettinghouse, the King of the Cage чемпіон, бере на себе Сергій Морозов (6-1-0, М-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.

A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Challenge 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.

Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Challenge 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.

На M-1 Challenge 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.

An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

Buchinger (31-4-0, М-1: 6-0-0), борються Словаччини, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73 since he lost to Конор МакГрегор в 2012. New M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko

BAKU, Азербайджан (Червень 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Артем Дамковскій last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Challenge 67 main event in Baku, Азербайджан.

Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, М-1: 0-1-1), Росії, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Тимур Нагібін last Friday atM-1 Challenge 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, М-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, борються Словаччини, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.

The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, М-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-1 Challenge 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) Жовтень 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

Груша, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) на M-1 Challenge 61.

САНКТ-ПЕТЕРБУРГ, Росія (Січень 27, 2016) – M-1 Global президент Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championДжон “Це” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Стефан “Т-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Укриття “Американський бульдог” Моррісон.

“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”

Buchinger (30-4-0, М-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov на M-1 Challenge 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Мансур “Тарзан” Barnaoui на M-1 Challenge 62.

Puetz (13-2-0, М-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, приймаючи рішення відВіктор Немков на M-1 Challenge 46.
