Two of the best middleweight fighters in the world, Emeev (15-3-0, M-1: 9-1-0) and Tokov (24-3-0, M-1: 8-2-0), battled from to start to finish as Emeev won a three-round split decision for his fourth consecutive victory.

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilo) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Hamon 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Hamon 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, ang King of the Cage tagapagtanggol, tumatagal sa Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Hamon 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Hamon 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Sa M-1 Hamon 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

The previously announced main event is a super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and knockout specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0).

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), labanan sa labas ng Slovakia, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Hamon 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor sa 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 sa M-1 Hamon 52, tigil Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Hamon 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. Sa kanyang huling labanan, this past June against Mikhail Korobkov sa M-1 Hamon 67, Buchinger needed only 4:41 of the opening round to choke his opponent into a submission in their non-title fight.
Idrisov is a strong striker and Russian Whu-Shu Sanda champion. He knockout current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in his professional MMA debut, back in 2013 in a non-M-1 Global fight. His three M-1 Global victories have been against Yuri Maia (KO1 – Punches) sa M-1 Hamon 49 Knockout ng Night, Max Coga (DEC3) at Sergei Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 sa M-1 Hamon 51 (see picture below).

BAKU, Azerbaijan (Hunyo 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Hamon 67 main event in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.
Sa co-tampok, M-1 Challenge featherweight kampeon John “Ito ang” Buchinger (31-4-0), of Slovakia, used a North-South choke to submit his late replacement opponent, Ruso Mikhail Korobkov (9-2-0), in a non-title fight.
Red-hot Kazakh welterweight Shavat Rakhmonov (6-0-0) kept rolling, knocking out Brazilian Marcelo Brito (13-8-0) sa opening round. Hometown paboritong Etigat Adakishniev (1-1-0) won his first professional fight, submitting Spaniard Adrian Perez (3-2-0) by way of a guillotine choke.
Czech Republic had two winners on the main card as middleweight Talekh Nadzhafadz (5-1-0) won a 3-round decision over his Spanish opponent, FelipeBiggiNsue (11-10-0), while heavyweight Zauer Gadzhibabayev (5-1-0) used a rear naked choke to submit Bulgarian Lazar Todev (2-3-0).

M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan Buchinger to defend title June 4 vs. Undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov

ST. Petersburg, Russia (Mayo 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion John “Ito ang” Buchinger will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, headlining M-1 Hamon 67, Hunyo 4 at Baku, Azerbaijan.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Peras.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Hamon 52, tigil Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui sa M-1 Hamon 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 sa M-1 Global kumpetisyon.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga huling Mayo sa M-1 Hamon 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergei Grecicho (see picture below) sa M-1 Hamon 61.
Rakhmonov vs. Pereira is a classic clash between young and old, Combat Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialists.
The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-1 Hamon 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) Oktubre 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

Peras, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) sa M-1 Hamon 61.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

Petersburg, Russia (Enero 27, 2016) – M-1 Global president Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Ito ang” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “American bulldog” Morrison.
We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov sa M-1 Hamon 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui sa M-1 Hamon 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, pagkuha ng isang desisyon mulaViktor Nemkov sa M-1 Hamon 46. Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
