Morrison (15-7-0, M-1 ba-: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1 ba-: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1 ba-: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 dikilogeramo) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Somotolo Vitruk by decision at M-1 ba-Bothata ba 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 ba-Bothata ba 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, ea King of the Cage mampoli, nka ka Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1 ba-: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 ba-Bothata ba 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 ba-Bothata ba 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Ka M-1 ba-Bothata ba 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

The previously announced main event is a super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev (14-3-0, M-1 ba-: 8-1-0) and knockout specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1 ba-: 9-1-0).

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1 ba-: 6-0-0), ho loantša ho tsoa Slovakia, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 ba-Bothata ba 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor a 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 ka M-1 ba-Bothata ba 52, emisa Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 ba-Bothata ba 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. BAKU, Azerbaijan (June 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 ba-Bothata ba 67 main event in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.

ST. Petersburg, Russia (June 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight ena Moqebelo (June 4) against defending champion John “Ena ke” Buchinger ka M-1 ba-Bothata ba 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Azerbaijan.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1 ba-: 0-1-1), ea Russia, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Bochabela ho Nagibin last Friday atM-1 ba-Bothata ba 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1 ba-: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, ho loantša ho tsoa Slovakia, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.

Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Pere.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1 ba-: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 ba-Bothata ba 52, emisa Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui ka M-1 ba-Bothata ba 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 a M-1 Global tlhōlisano.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1 ba-: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga ho qetela May kwa M-1 ba-Bothata ba 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergei Grecicho (see picture below) ka M-1 ba-Bothata ba 61.
Rakhmonov vs. Pereira is a classic clash between young and old, Combat Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialists.
The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1 ba-: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-1 ba-Bothata ba 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) October 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

Pere, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) ka M-1 ba-Bothata ba 61.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

Petersburg, Russia (January 27, 2016) – M-1 ba-Global e le mopresidente Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Ena ke” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “American Bulldog” Morrison.
We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1 ba-: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov ka M-1 ba-Bothata ba 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui ka M-1 ba-Bothata ba 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1 ba-: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, ho qeto ho tlohaViktor Nemkov ka M-1 ba-Bothata ba 46. Puetz successfully defended his title twice in 2014 khahlanong le Luis Fernando Miranda (SUB2 – bipetsa) le Valery Mykasnikov(KO/TKO2 – punches). A 2015, Puetz took on previously undefeated M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Marcin Tybura, who lost in three rounds due to a severely broken nose at M-1 ba-Bothata ba 57. Morrison (13-6-0, M-1 ba-: 2-3-0) is a popular featherweight contender out of Okanogon, Washington. The gutsy 29-year-old (pictured below on right) has notable M-1 Global decision wins over Somotolo Vitruk le Mikhail Malyutin.

Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1 ba-: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
