Feared as a striker, Idrisov ((7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0) lived up to his reputation and remained undefeated as a professional, putting Buchinger to sleep with a devastating punch in round one. Vo svojom 2013 MMA debut, Idrisov knocked out current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in a non-M-1 Global fight. Two of the best middleweight fighters in the world, Emeev (15-3-0, M-1: 9-1-0) and Tokov (24-3-0, M-1: 8-2-0), battled from to start to finish as Emeev won a three-round split decision for his fourth consecutive victory.

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.

Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilogramov) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Challenge 58.

Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Challenge 66 (na obrázku nižšie).

Rettinghouse, the King of the Cage majster, berie na Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.

A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Challenge 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.

Morozov, bojujúcich z Kazachstanu, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Challenge 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to rafael Dias.

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), bojuje zo Slovenska, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor v 2012. BAKU, Azerbajdžan (Jún 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Challenge 67 main event in Baku, Azerbajdžan.

Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusko (Jún 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight túto sobotu (Jún 4) against defending champion John “To je” Buchinger na M-1 Challenge 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Azerbajdžan.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), Ruska, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to east Nagibin last Friday atM-1 Challenge 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, bojuje zo Slovenska, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.

The new main event matches Alexander “Iron Capture” Butenko (40-11-2, M-1: 7-1-0), Ukrajiny, and BelarussianArtiom Damkovsky (20-9-0. M-1: 10-6-0) na voľné M-1 Challenge ľahké majstrovstvá.

The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-1 Challenge 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (na obrázku nižšie) Október 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

PETERSBURG, Rusko (Január 27, 2016) – M-1 Global prezident Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “To je” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Závetrie “Americký buldog” Morrison.

“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov na M-1 Challenge 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui na M-1 Challenge 62.

Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, prijatie rozhodnutia zViktor Nemkov na M-1 Challenge 46. Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
