Feared as a striker, Idrisov ((7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0) lived up to his reputation and remained undefeated as a professional, putting Buchinger to sleep with a devastating punch in round one. A super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev(14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and KO artist specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0) rieda headline M 1 Isfida 73: Battalja ta 'Narts in a battle of elite Russian fighters.

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilogrammi) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M 1 Isfida 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M 1 Isfida 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, l- King of the Cage champion, jieħu fuq Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M 1 Isfida 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M 1 Isfida 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Fil M 1 Isfida 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

The previously announced main event is a super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and knockout specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0).

BUCHINGER (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), ġlieda kontra l tas-Slovakkja, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M 1 Isfida 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor fil 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 fi M 1 Isfida 52, waqfien Rali Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M 1 Isfida 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. Fl-aħħar ġlieda tiegħu, this past June against Mikhail Korobkov fi M 1 Isfida 67, Buchinger needed only 4:41 of the opening round to choke his opponent into a submission in their non-title fight.
Idrisov is a strong striker and Russian Whu-Shu Sanda champion. He knockout current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in his professional MMA debut, back in 2013 in a non-M-1 Global fight. His three M-1 Global victories have been against Yuri Maia (KO1 – puntelli) fil- M 1 Isfida 49 Eliminatorja tal-Lejl, Max Coga (DEC3) u Sergei Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 fi M 1 Isfida 51 (see picture below).

BAKU, Ażerbajġan (Ġunju 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M 1 Isfida 67 main event in Baku, Ażerbajġan.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.
Fil-ko-karatteristika, M-1 Isfida champion featherweight John “Dan huwa l-” BUCHINGER (31-4-0), of Slovakia, used a North-South choke to submit his late replacement opponent, Russu Mikhail Korobkov (9-2-0), in a non-title fight.
Red-hot Kazakh welterweight Shavat Rakhmonov (6-0-0) kept rolling, knocking out Brazilian Marcelo Brito (13-8-0) fir-rawnd ftuħ. Favorit Hometown Etigat Adakishniev (1-1-0) won his first professional fight, submitting Spaniard Adrian Perez (3-2-0) by way of a guillotine choke.
Czech Republic had two winners on the main card as middleweight Talekh Nadzhafadz (5-1-0) won a 3-round decision over his Spanish opponent, Felipe “Biggi” Nsue (11-10-0), while heavyweight Zauer Gadzhibabayev (5-1-0) used a rear naked choke to submit Bulgarian Lazar Todev (2-3-0).

ST. PETERSBURG, Russja (Ġunju 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight din is-Sibt (Ġunju 4) against defending champion John “Dan huwa l-” BUCHINGER fi M 1 Isfida 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Ażerbajġan.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), tar-Russja, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM 1 Isfida 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. BUCHINGER, ġlieda kontra l tas-Slovakkja, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.
The new main event matches Alexander “Iron Capture” Butenko (40-11-2, M-1: 7-1-0), ta 'l-Ukraina, and BelarussianArtiom Damkovsky (20-9-0. M-1: 10-6-0) għall-vakanti M-1 Isfida kampjonat ħfief.

ST. PETERSBURG, Russja (Mejju 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion John “Dan huwa l-” BUCHINGER will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, headlining M 1 Isfida 67, Ġunju 4 at Baku, Ażerbajġan.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Pear.

BUCHINGER (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M 1 Isfida 52, waqfien Rali Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui fi M 1 Isfida 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 fil M-1 Il-kompetizzjoni globali.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga f'Mejju li għadda fil M 1 Isfida 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergei Grecicho (see picture below) fil M-1 Isfida 61.
Rakhmonov vs. Pereira is a classic clash between young and old, Combat Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialists.
The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M 1 Isfida 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) Ottubru 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

Pear, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) fi M 1 Isfida 61.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

PETERSBURG, Russja (Jannar 27, 2016) – President M-1 Global Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Dan huwa l-” BUCHINGER, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “American Bulldog” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
BUCHINGER (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov fi M 1 Isfida 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui fi M 1 Isfida 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, tieħu deċiżjoni minnViktor Nemkov fi M 1 Isfida 46. Barnaoui (12-3-0, M-1: 2-2-0), ġlieda kontra minn Pariġi, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger. After defeating previously undefeated Maxim Divnich(10-0-0) (see picture below) by way of a first-round stoppage via punches, Mejju 2, 2015 fiM 1 Isfida 57, Barnaoui dropped down in weight and he unsuccessfully challenged M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan BUCHINGER this past October by five-round decision at M 1 Isfida 57.
Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
