Feared striker Magomeds Idrisov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), of Russia captured the M-1 Challenge bantamweight title by knocking out defending champion John “Tas ir” BUCHINGER (31-5-0, M-1: 6-1-0), cīnoties no Slovākijas, who rode a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73, Idrisov put Buchinger to sleep with one devastating punch in the opening round for a shocking ending.
American bantamweight “Punisher” Josh Rektifikācija House (14-4-0, M-1: 2-0-0) knocked out his Kazakh opponent, Sergejs Morozovs (6-2-0, M-1: 3-2-0), pirmajā kārtā.

NAZRAN, Ingušijā, Krievija (Decembris 9, 2016) – Rising Russian MMA star Magomed Idriosov knocked out Ivan “Tas ir” Buchinger in the opening round of šovakar M-1 Challenge 73: Battle of Narts main event to become M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion.

BUCHINGER (31-5-0, M-1: 6-1-0), cīnoties no Slovākijas, rode a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73, losing for the first time since 2012 to Conor McGregor. Buchinger stopped Tural Ragimov to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 pie M-1 Challenge 52.
Two of the best middleweight fighters in the world, Emeev (15-3-0, M-1: 9-1-0) and Tokov (24-3-0, M-1: 8-2-0), battled from to start to finish as Emeev won a three-round split decision for his fourth consecutive victory.

Undefeated Russian Moysar Evoloev remained undefeated (6-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0) by taking a three-round unanimous decision over American Lee “Amerikāņu buldogs” Morrison (15-8-0, M-1: 2-5-0) at a 140-pound (63.5 kilogrami) catchweight.
Russian lightweight Khamzat Dalgiev (8-1-0, M-1: 5-1-0), fighting at home in Ingushetia, chocked British-invader Christian “The Animal” Holley (10-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0) into a submission in the second round.
Closing out the Main Card, American bantamweight “Punisher” Josh Rektifikācija House (14-4-0, M-1: 2-0-0) stopped his Kazakh opponent, Sergejs Morozovs (6-2-0, M-1: 3-2-0), pirmajā kārtā.

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilogrami) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Challenge 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Challenge 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, the King of the Cage čempions, uzņemas Sergejs Morozovs (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Challenge 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Challenge 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Pie M-1 Challenge 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

The previously announced main event is a super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadāns Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and knockout specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0).

BUCHINGER (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), cīnoties no Slovākijas, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor uz 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 pie M-1 Challenge 52, apstāšanās Saimniecības Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Challenge 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. New M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko
BAKU, Azerbaidžāna (Jūnijs 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Challenge 67 main event in Baku, Azerbaidžāna.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.

Red-hot Kazakh welterweight Shavat Rakhmonov (6-0-0) kept rolling, knocking out Brazilian Marcelo Brito (13-8-0) atklāšanas kārtā. Dzimtajā favorīts Etigat Adakishniev (1-1-0) won his first professional fight, submitting Spaniard Adrian Perez (3-2-0) by way of a guillotine choke.

ST. PETERSBURG, Krievija (Jūnijs 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomeds Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight Šo sestdien (Jūnijs 4) against defending champion John “Tas ir” BUCHINGER pie M-1 Challenge 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Azerbaidžāna.

Mihails Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), Krievijas, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM-1 Challenge 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. BUCHINGER, cīnoties no Slovākijas, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.
The new main event matches Alexander “Iron Capture” Butenko (40-11-2, M-1: 7-1-0), Ukrainas, and BelarussianArtiom Damkovsky (20-9-0. M-1: 10-6-0) uz vakanto M-1 Challenge viegla čempionātā.

ST. PETERSBURG, Krievija (Maijs 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion John “Tas ir” BUCHINGER will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomeds Idrisov, Headlining M-1 Challenge 67, Jūnijs 4 at Baku, Azerbaidžāna.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Bumbieris.

BUCHINGER (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Challenge 52, apstāšanās Saimniecības Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui pie M-1 Challenge 62. Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga pagājušā gada maijā at M-1 Challenge 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergei Grecicho (see picture below) pie M-1 Challenge 61.
Rakhmonov vs. Pereira is a classic clash between young and old, Combat Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialists.
The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-1 Challenge 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) Oktobris 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

Bumbieris, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) pie M-1 Challenge 61.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephen Puetz & Lee Morrison

PETERSBURG, Krievija (Janvāris 27, 2016) – M-1 Global prezidents Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Tas ir” BUCHINGER, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Aizvēja puse “Amerikāņu buldogs” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
BUCHINGER (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov pie M-1 Challenge 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui pie M-1 Challenge 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, Pieņemot lēmumu noViktor Nemkov pie M-1 Challenge 46. Puetz successfully defended his title twice in 2014 pret Luis Fernando Miranda (Sub2 – aizrīties) un Valery Mykasnikov(KO/TKO2 – perforatori). Uz 2015, Puetz took on previously undefeated M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Marcin Tybura, who lost in three rounds due to a severely broken nose at M-1 Challenge 57. In his most recent fight this past December at M-1 Challenge 63, Puetz lost his title belt in a rematch with Nemkov by way of a decision.
Morrison (13-6-0, M-1: 2-3-0) is a popular featherweight contender out of Okanogon, Vašingtona. The gutsy 29-year-old (pictured below on right) has notable M-1 Global decision wins over Pavel Vitruk un Mikhail Malyutin.

Barnaoui (12-3-0, M-1: 2-2-0), cīnoties no Parīzes, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger. After defeating previously undefeated Maksima Divnich(10-0-0) (see picture below) by way of a first-round stoppage via punches, Maijs 2, 2015 pieM-1 Challenge 57, Barnaoui dropped down in weight and he unsuccessfully challenged M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan BUCHINGER this past October by five-round decision at M-1 Challenge 57.
Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
