Two of the best middleweight fighters in the world, Emeev (15-3-0, M-1: 9-1-0) and Tokov (24-3-0, M-1: 8-2-0), battled from to start to finish as Emeev won a three-round split decision for his fourth consecutive victory.

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilogrami) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Challenge 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Challenge 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, the King of the Cage čempions, uzņemas Sergejs Morozovs (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Challenge 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Challenge 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Pie M-1 Challenge 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

The previously announced main event is a super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadāns Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and knockout specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0).

BUCHINGER (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), cīnoties no Slovākijas, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor uz 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 pie M-1 Challenge 52, apstāšanās Saimniecības Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Challenge 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. BAKU, Azerbaidžāna (Jūnijs 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Challenge 67 main event in Baku, Azerbaidžāna.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.

BUCHINGER, cīnoties no Slovākijas, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.

Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Bumbieris.

BUCHINGER (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Challenge 52, apstāšanās Saimniecības Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. Bumbieris, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) pie M-1 Challenge 61.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephen Puetz & Lee Morrison

ST. PETERSBURG, Krievija (Janvāris 27, 2016) – M-1 Global prezidents Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Tas ir” BUCHINGER, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Aizvēja puse “Amerikāņu buldogs” Morrison.
We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.
BUCHINGER (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov pie M-1 Challenge 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui pie M-1 Challenge 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, Pieņemot lēmumu noViktor Nemkov pie M-1 Challenge 46. Puetz successfully defended his title twice in 2014 pret Luis Fernando Miranda (Sub2 – aizrīties) un Valery Mykasnikov(KO/TKO2 – perforatori). Barnaoui (12-3-0, M-1: 2-2-0), cīnoties no Parīzes, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger. After defeating previously undefeated Maksima Divnich(10-0-0) (see picture below) by way of a first-round stoppage via punches, Maijs 2, 2015 pieM-1 Challenge 57, Barnaoui dropped down in weight and he unsuccessfully challenged M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan BUCHINGER this past October by five-round decision at M-1 Challenge 57.
Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
