NAZRAN, Ingushetia, Russia (December 9, 2016) – Rising Russian MMA star Magomed Idriosov knocked out Ivan “Hoc est” Buchinger in the opening round of hac nocte M-I provocare 73: Battle of Narts main event to become M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion.
In pluma co-, M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramazan Emeev won a hard fought three-round split decision over Anatoly Tokov in Ingushetia, Russia.
Feared as a striker, Idrisov ((7-0-0, M, I: 4-0-0) lived up to his reputation and remained undefeated as a professional, putting Buchinger to sleep with a devastating punch in round one. In his 2013 MMA debut, Idrisov knocked out current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in a non-M-1 Global fight. The Russian is now undefeated in four M-1 Global fights having previously defeated Yuri Maia (KO1 – pugnis) in the M-1 Challenge 49 Knockout de Nocte, Max Coga (DEC3) and Sergej Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 at M-I provocare 51.

Buchinger (31-5-0, M, I: 6-1-0), pugnatorum de Slovakia, rode a 10-fight win streak into M-I provocare 73, losing for the first time since 2012 to Conor McGregor. Buchinger stopped Tural Ragimov to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 at M-I provocare 52.
Two of the best middleweight fighters in the world, Emeev (15-3-0, M, I: 9-1-0) and Tokov (24-3-0, M, I: 8-2-0), battled from to start to finish as Emeev won a three-round split decision for his fourth consecutive victory.

PETERSBURG, Russia (November 9, 2016) – The already loaded M-I provocare 73: Battle of Narts card has been bolstered by the M-1 Global announcement that two American fighters, Lee “American Bulldog” Morrison atque The Finisher” Josh Rectification Domus, have been added to the 2016 season-ending event December 9th in Ingushetia, Russia.

Morrison (15-7-0, M, I: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M, I: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M, I: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilograms) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-I provocare 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-I provocare 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, autem King of the Cage fortissimus, suscipit, Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M, I: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-I provocare 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-I provocare 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
At M-I provocare 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

The previously announced main event is a super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev (14-3-0, M, I: 8-1-0) and knockout specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M, I: 9-1-0).

Buchinger (31-4-0, M, I: 6-0-0), pugnatorum de Slovakia, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-I provocare 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor in 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 at M-I provocare 52, cum stetissent Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-I provocare 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. In ultimo proelio, this past June against Mikhail Korobkov at M-I provocare 67, Buchinger needed only 4:41 of the opening round to choke his opponent into a submission in their non-title fight.
Idrisov is a strong striker and Russian Whu-Shu Sanda champion. He knockout current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in his professional MMA debut, in tergum 2013 in a non-M-1 Global fight. His three M-1 Global victories have been against Yuri Maia (KO1 – pugnis) in M-I provocare 49 Knockout de Nocte, Max Coga (DEC3) atque Sergius Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 at M-I provocare 51 (see picture below).

BAKU, Adrabigania (June 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-I provocare 67 main event in Baku, Adrabigania.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.
In pluma co-, M-I provocare featherweight fortissimus John “Hoc est” Buchinger (31-4-0), of Slovakia, used a North-South choke to submit his late replacement opponent, Russian Mikhail Korobkov (9-2-0), in a non-title fight.
Red-hot Kazakh welterweight Shavat Rakhmonov (6-0-0) kept rolling, knocking out Brazilian Marcelo vehentium (13-8-0) in foramen rotundum. Patria ventus Etigat Adakishniev (1-1-0) won his first professional fight, submitting Spaniard Adrian Perez (3-2-0) by way of a guillotine choke.
Czech Republic had two winners on the main card as middleweight Talekh Nadzhafadz (5-1-0) won a 3-round decision over his Spanish opponent, FelipeBiggiNsue (11-10-0), while heavyweight Zauer Gadzhibabayev (5-1-0) used a rear naked choke to submit Bulgarian Lazar Todev (2-3-0).

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (June 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight hoc Saturday (June 4) against defending champion John “Hoc est” Buchinger at M-I provocare 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Adrabigania.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M, I: 0-1-1), of Russia, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM-I provocare 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M, I: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, pugnatorum de Slovakia, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (May 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion John “Hoc est” Buchinger will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, headlining M-I provocare 67, June 4 at Baku, Adrabigania.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Pirum.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M, I: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-I provocare 52, cum stetissent Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui at M-I provocare 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 in M-I Global competition.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M, I: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga Ultima madio M-I provocare 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergius Grecicho (see picture below) M, I ad provocare 61.
Rakhmonov vs. Pereira is a classic clash between young and old, Combat Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialists.
The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M, I: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-I provocare 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) October 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

Pirum, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) at M-I provocare 61.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (January 27, 2016) – I M-Global praeses Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Hoc est” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-DCCC” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “American Bulldog” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
Buchinger (30-4-0, M, I: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov at M-I provocare 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui at M-I provocare 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M, I: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, accipiens decisionemNemkov Viktor at M-I provocare 46. Puetz successfully defended his title twice in 2014 adversum Luis Fernando Miranda (Sub2 – suffocat) atque Valery Mykasnikov(KO/TKO2 – pugnis). In 2015, Puetz took on previously undefeated M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Marcin Tybura, who lost in three rounds due to a severely broken nose at M-I provocare 57. In his most recent fight this past December at M-I provocare 63, Puetz lost his title belt in a rematch with Nemkov by way of a decision.
Morrison (13-6-0, M, I: 2-3-0) is a popular featherweight contender out of Okanogon, Washington. The gutsy 29-year-old (pictured below on right) has notable M-1 Global decision wins over Pavel Vitruk atque Mikhail Malyutin.

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (December 29, 2015) — M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui will make his first title defense, February 19 at Olympic Stadium, adversum Artiom Damkovsky at M-I provocare 64 in Moscoviae, Russia.

Barnaoui (12-3-0, M, I: 2-2-0), pugnatorum de Paris, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger. After defeating previously undefeated Maxim Divnich(10-0-0) (see picture below) by way of a first-round stoppage via punches, May 2, 2015 atM-I provocare 57, Barnaoui dropped down in weight and he unsuccessfully challenged M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan Buchinger this past October by five-round decision at M-I provocare 57.
Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M, I: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
