Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilogram) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 defi 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 defi 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, nan King of the Cage chanpyon, pran sou Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 defi 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 defi 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Nan M-1 defi 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), batay soti nan Slovaki, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 defi 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor nan 2012. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 defi 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. BAKU, Azerbaijan (Jen 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 defi 67 main event in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), nan Larisi, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM-1 defi 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. ST. PETERSBURG, Larisi (Me 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Jan “Sa a se nan” Buchinger will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, headlining M-1 defi 67, Jen 4 at Baku, Azerbaijan.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Pear.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 defi 52, kanpe Kiltirèl Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui nan M-1 defi 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 nan M-1 Global konpetisyon.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga mwa me dènye a M-1 defi 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergei Grecicho (see picture below) nan M-1 defi 61.
Rakhmonov vs. Pereira is a classic clash between young and old, Combat Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialists.
The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-1 defi 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) Oktòb 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

Pear, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) nan M-1 defi 61.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan PUETZ & Lee Morrison

PETERSBURG, Larisi (Janvye 27, 2016) – M-1 Global prezidan Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJan “Sa a se nan” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” PUETZ and top American featherweight contender Lee “Ameriken Bulldog” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov nan M-1 defi 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui nan M-1 defi 62.
PUETZ (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, pran yon desizyon soti nanViktor Nemkov nan M-1 defi 46. Puetz successfully defended his title twice in 2014 kont Luis Fernando Miranda (SUB2 – toufe) ak Valery Mykasnikov(KO/TKO2 – pwenson). Barnaoui (12-3-0, M-1: 2-2-0), batay soti nan Paris, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger. After defeating previously undefeated Maxim Divnich(10-0-0) (see picture below) by way of a first-round stoppage via punches, Me 2, 2015 nanM-1 defi 57, Barnaoui dropped down in weight and he unsuccessfully challenged M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan Buchinger this past October by five-round decision at M-1 defi 57.
Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
