Ina 2013 MMA debut, Idrisov knocked out current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in a non-M-1 Global fight. The Russian is now undefeated in four M-1 Global fights having previously defeated Yuri Maia (KO1 – punches) in the M-1 Challenge 49 Knockout an Oíche, Max Coga (DEC3) and Sergej Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 ag M-1 Dúshlán 51.

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 cileagram) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Dúshlán 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Dúshlán 66 (Is trodaire MMA soladach uile-thimpeall é).
Rettinghouse, an King of the Cage curadh, Bíonn ar Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Dúshlán 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), troid as na Slóvaice, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Dúshlán 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor i 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 ag M-1 Dúshlán 52, stopadh Artas talmhaıochta Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Dúshlán 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. PETERSBURG, Rúis (Meitheamh 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight Dé Sathairn (Meitheamh 4) against defending champion John “Is é seo an” Buchinger ag M-1 Dúshlán 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Asarbaiseáin.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), na Rúise, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Mikael Silander-Arman Ashimov Dúshlán M-1 Eatramhach Ceannteideal troid teideal meáchain eitilte last Friday atM-1 Dúshlán 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Piorra.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Dúshlán 52, stopadh Artas talmhaıochta Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui ag M-1 Dúshlán 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 i M-1 comórtas Domhanda.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

ST. PETERSBURG, Rúis (Eanáir 27, 2016) – Uachtarán M-1 Domhanda Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Is é seo an” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “American Bulldog” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov ag M-1 Dúshlán 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui ag M-1 Dúshlán 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, Agus cinneadh á dhéanamh óViktor Nemkov ag M-1 Dúshlán 46. In a previously announced title fight, newly M-1 Global-signed Alexander “Drago” Volkov (24-6-0, M-1: 8-3-0), na Rúise, takes on Estonian challenger Denis Smoldaraev (11-1-0, M-1: 7-1-0) for the vacant M-1 Challenge heavyweight championship.
Barnaoui (12-3-0, M-1: 2-2-0), troid as Páras, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger. After defeating previously undefeated Maxim Divnich(10-0-0) (see picture below) by way of a first-round stoppage via punches, Bealtaine 2, 2015 agM-1 Dúshlán 57, Barnaoui dropped down in weight and he unsuccessfully challenged M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan Buchinger this past October by five-round decision at M-1 Dúshlán 57.
Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
