Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 Kilogramoj) Catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk per decido ĉe M-1 Defio 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Defio 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, La King of the Cage Senegala, Prenas sur Sergej Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Defio 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, batalante el Kazastanio, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Defio 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), batalante ekster Slovakio, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Defio 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor Je 2012. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Defio 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. BAKU, Azerio (Junio 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Aleksandro Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Defio 67 main event in Baku, Azerio.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusio (Junio 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight #?I tiu sabato (Junio 4) against defending champion Ivan “Buki” Buchinger #?E M-1 Defio 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Azerio.

Miĥail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), De Rusio, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM-1 Defio 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, batalante ekster Slovakio, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.

Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” piro.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Defio 52, Haltanta Tural Ragimov (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui #?E M-1 Defio 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 en M-1 Tutmonda konkurado.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga last May at M-1 Defio 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergej Grecicho (see picture below) #?E M-1 Defio 61.
Rakhmonov vs. Pereira is a classic clash between young and old, Combat Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialists.
The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-1 Defio 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) Oktobro 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

piro, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) #?E M-1 Defio 61.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

PETERSBURG, Rusio (Januaro 27, 2016) – M-1 Tutmonda prezidanto Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championIvan “Buki” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “American Bulldog” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov #?E M-1 Defio 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui #?E M-1 Defio 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, prenanta decidon deViktor Nemkov #?E M-1 Defio 46. Puetz successfully defended his title twice in 2014 Kontraŭ Luis Fernando Miranda (SUB2 – ĉokilo) Kaj Valery Mykasnikov(KO/TKO2 – Stampiloj). Barnaoui (12-3-0, M-1: 2-2-0), fighting out of Paris, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger. After defeating previously undefeated Maxim Divnich(10-0-0) (see picture below) by way of a first-round stoppage via punches, Majo 2, 2015 #?EM-1 Defio 57, Barnaoui dropped down in weight and he unsuccessfully challenged M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan Buchinger this past October by five-round decision at M-1 Defio 57.
Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
