Feared as a striker, Idrisov ((7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0) lived up to his reputation and remained undefeated as a professional, putting Buchinger to sleep with a devastating punch in round one. Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 cilogram) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Her 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Her 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, y King of the Cage pencampwr, yn cymryd ar Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Her 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Her 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Ar M-1 Her 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), ymladd allan o Slofacia, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Her 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor mewn 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 yn M-1 Her 52, rhoi'r gorau i Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Her 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. Yn ei frwydr olaf, this past June against Mikhail Korobkov yn M-1 Her 67, Buchinger needed only 4:41 of the opening round to choke his opponent into a submission in their non-title fight.
Idrisov is a strong striker and Russian Whu-Shu Sanda champion. He knockout current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in his professional MMA debut, back in 2013 in a non-M-1 Global fight. BAKU, Azerbaijan (Mehefin 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Her 67 main event in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rwsia (Mehefin 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight dydd Sadwrn (Mehefin 4) against defending champion John “Mae hyn yn y” Buchinger yn M-1 Her 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Azerbaijan.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), o Rwsia, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM-1 Her 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, ymladd allan o Slofacia, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.
The new main event matches Alexander “Iron Capture” Butenko (40-11-2, M-1: 7-1-0), o Wcráin, and BelarussianArtiom Damkovsky (20-9-0. M-1: 10-6-0) ar gyfer yr wag M-1 Her bencampwriaeth ysgafn.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rwsia (Mai 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion John “Mae hyn yn y” Buchinger will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, prif fand M-1 Her 67, Mehefin 4 at Baku, Azerbaijan.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Gellyg.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Her 52, rhoi'r gorau i Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui yn M-1 Her 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 yn M-1 Cystadleuaeth fyd-eang.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga Mai ddiwethaf am M-1 Her 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergei Grecicho (see picture below) yn M-1 Her 61.
Rakhmonov vs. Pereira is a classic clash between young and old, Combat Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialists.
The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-1 Her 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) Hydref 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

Gellyg, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) yn M-1 Her 61.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

PETERSBURG, Rwsia (Ionawr 27, 2016) – Llywydd M-1 Byd-eang Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Mae hyn yn y” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “Americanaidd Bulldog” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov yn M-1 Her 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui yn M-1 Her 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, gwneud penderfyniad oViktor Nemkov yn M-1 Her 46. Puetz successfully defended his title twice in 2014 erbyn Luis Fernando Miranda (SUB2 – tagu) ac Valery Mykasnikov(KO/TKO2 – punches). Yn 2015, Puetz took on previously undefeated M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Marcin Tybura, who lost in three rounds due to a severely broken nose at M-1 Her 57. In his most recent fight this past December at M-1 Her 63, Puetz lost his title belt in a rematch with Nemkov by way of a decision.
Morrison (13-6-0, M-1: 2-3-0) is a popular featherweight contender out of Okanogon, Washington. The gutsy 29-year-old (pictured below on right) has notable M-1 Global decision wins over Pavel Vitruk ac Mikhail Malyutin.

Barnaoui (12-3-0, M-1: 2-2-0), ymladd y tu allan i Baris, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger. After defeating previously undefeated Maxim Divnich(10-0-0) (see picture below) by way of a first-round stoppage via punches, Mai 2, 2015 ynM-1 Her 57, Barnaoui dropped down in weight and he unsuccessfully challenged M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan Buchinger this past October by five-round decision at M-1 Her 57.
Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
