United Boxing Promotions signs Indian prospect Sukhdeep Singh

Débuts Pro Mars 17 au Canada
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada (Février 8, 2018) – United Boxing Promotions (UBP) announced today that it has signed Indian super middleweight prospect Sukhdeep Singh | for his professional debut, Mars 17, at Hersey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

An elusive, pure boxer, Singh will make his pro debut Mars 17 on a UBP-presented St. Patrick’s Day card, in a four-round bout against an opponent to be determined, at Undefeated Irish-Canadian sensation Josh “Dubs” O’Reilly(10-0, 4 KOs), fighting out of Hamilton (Canada), will make his initial International Boxing Association (IBA) Inter-Continental lightweight title defense against Mexican veteran Juan Bedolla Orozco (19-7-2, 14 KOs) dans le cas de 10 tour principal.

The 25-year-old Singh, who is switches between orthodox and southpaw stances, captured gold medals at the 2012 Senior National Boxing Championship and 2011 Boxing Super Cup. Il y a deux ans, he also trained with the Indian Olympic Boxing Team in Ireland.

Rojas (4-2-1, 2 KOs) fought four times last year and is coming off a loss to Cesar Soriano in his last fight on Octobre. 17. The 27-year-old Rojas of Puebla, Mexico will be fighting in the U.S. pour la première fois dans sa carrière.

Former Olympian Lenin Castillo inks with Spartan Boxing Club

Former Olympian Lenin Castillo (17-1-1, 12 KO) from the Dominican Republic has signed with new Puerto Rican management company, Spartan Boxing Club, on his mission to be part of the big stages in boxing.

 

 

 

 

Spartan Boxing Club President Raul Pastrana stated that “We are already planning to put Castillo on Avril 7 card in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Angel Acosta will defend his WBO world title, and we are currently in the process of looking for a quality opponent together with a regional title to rank Castillo in the top positions in order to get a greater fight by the end of the year”.

 

 

 

 

“I signed with Spartan Boxing because they have an incredible platform and a work plan that I understand will be effective for my long-term career. I’m crazy to get back the ring to show that I deserve to be on the big stages and what better way to start this new path in front of my dear Puerto Rican people whom make me feel at home every time I go there” said Castillo who at the amateur boxing level won gold medals at the Jr. Pan American Games and José ‘Cheo’ Aponte International Tournament, and competed at the Olympic Games at welterweight category in Beijing, Chine.

Son of former world champion Agapito Sanchez inks managerial deal
Queens, New York (Février 8, 2018) – El Matador Management is proud to announce the signing of undefeated featherweight prospect Juan “Ciclon” Sanchez to an exclusive managerial contract.
Sanchez, 22 years-old of Allentown, Pennsylvania has a perfect mark of 4-0 avec un KO. He is the son of former WBO Super Bantamweight world champion, Agapito Sanchez. Juan started boxing at the age of 15, and had a brief amateur career consisting of approximately 30 combats.

“My first exposure to boxing was when I was four years old and I accompanied my dad to the gym,” Saïd Sanchez. “I am excited to be with El Matador Management and looking forward to continue to grow in boxing. Boxing is a show, and I look forward to putting on great performances. I like to look flashy! Felipe Gomez has the experience to take me along this exciting journey.”

Le surnom de Prograis «Rougarou» vient du folklore de la Louisiane et est défini comme une créature ressemblant à un loup-garou. Originaire de la Nouvelle-Orléans, Prograis a déménagé à Houston après l'ouragan Katrina.

 

 

 

Postol a remporté le championnat du monde WBC de 140 livres vacant avec un KO étonnant et dominant au 10e tour de Lucas Matthysse en 2015. L'Ukrainien de 34 ans a tenté d'unifier la division dans sa première défense, perdant par décision unanime face au champion WBO de l'époque, Terence Crawford en 2016. Le Baranchyk à l'esprit agressif est un ancien amateur remarquable qui a de la puissance à deux mains. Le biélorusse de 25 ans est actuellement classé No. 4 dans l'IBF à 140 livres et possède sept victoires sur des combattants invaincus auparavant. Il a parcouru la distance de 10 rounds trois fois et vient de prendre une décision unanime en huit rounds contre Keenan Smith alors invaincu en juillet dernier. In just her fourth professional fight, rising female flyweight prospect Elena Savelyeva will take the leap to 10-rounders.
