Del Valle excited for Tri State Area return
Бајамон, Порторико (Јул 20, 2016) – As a teenager, Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle left his native Puerto Rico for Newburgh, NY where he resided for seven years. During his time in the Empire State amateur ranks, he made great strides in the ring and won multiple highly-competitive tournaments, most notably capturing the 2004 National Golden Gloves title.
As a pro, Del Valle had his first fight in New Jersey, hoisted the WBA-NABA championship in New York and Connecticut was the state that hosted his first appearance on HBO. On the contrary, there are those who take great pride in starring as an athlete and student; such as 17-year-old Joey Veazey.
Known by his moniker of “Bazooka Joe” Veazey is multi-time amateur champion and was ranked internationally. SECOND PRO BOXING BOUT ANNOUNCED FOR NEF 22

Proceeds from the Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship go towards sending the New England Golden Gloves champions to the National Golden Gloves Championship (2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah), in addition to supporting local athletes and area gyms, the Boys & Гирлс Цлуб, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, cancer funds, scholarships and many other great charitable causes.
Keeping with tradition, drawings for the semifinals will not be held until this Tuesday night. Winners in the semifinals will advance to the finals. At stake is a spot on Team New England for the 2016 National Golden Gloves Championships, Мај 16-21, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
