“For this fight, I did more road work and also worked hard on my fundamentals. With my coach, Jason Crutchfield, in my corner he knows my weaknesses and strong points, so we are strengthening all weaknesses.

“I know that Szabados has a lot of body endurance and a ‘no quit’ mindset in the ring. She has a lot more professional experience than me and is a huge step up for me, as it is only my second professional fight.

“With my reputation and name steady rising and me getting a lot of notoriety, I have really just been handling it by taking a few deep breaths and just not allowing myself to get too excited. When I think about Kovas 10, I just wanna jump up and down!

“When I was an amateur, I followed women’s professional boxing the best I could. I thought a lot of women weren’t given equal opportunity. I told myself that for women’s boxing to grow, I’d have to go pro after winning the Olympics again. I felt in my heart that I would be respected and given a chance. I take advantage of every opportunity, so as of now, I feel women’s boxing is a sport that is going to be around for a long time.”

On his recent training camp with Virgil Hunter:
“Virgil Hunter and I had a great final few days of training camp. All the sparring and training is finalized and now we are focused on making weight. My body feels rejuvenated and I’ll be at my best going into this fight.”
On facing former world champion Chad Dawson:
“Chad Dawson is a very skilled fighter who has won at the elite level. He’s a former world champion who’s been in the ring with the best fighters in the division. I know he will be a difficult challenge, but I’m confident I’ll be victorious.”
On the long layoff since his last fight:
“I felt it was a good thing to take some time off after my fight with Joe Smith. I was able to reflect on my performance, and make the move to start training with Virgil Hunter. I incorporated Pilates into my training regimen and I feel great. My mental focus is sharp. Everyone will see the improvement in my performance.”
On the current state of the light-heavyweight division:

The Card Will Be Rescheduled for A Future Date
LAS VEGAS (Vasaris 28, 2017) – The featherweight championship match between Gary Russell Jr. and Oscar Escandon, planuojama Šeštadienis, Kovas 11 at the MGM National Harbor in Maryland, has been postponed after Escandon was injured in training, according to Escandon’s promoter Sampson Lewkowicz.
“Oscar suffered an injury to his back in training and he’ll be ready to go in April,” Lewkowicz said. “He’s very sorry for the delay in the fight, but these things happen in boxing. He’s really looking forward to facing Gary Russell, Jr, but he wants to be completely healthy when they do meet.”
Escandon, a 32-year-old Colombian with a record of 25-2 su 17 Kos, is the mandatory challenger for Russell’s featherweight championship. Jermell Charlo defending his 154-pound title against Charles Hatley will be the co-feature on the rescheduled card.

Leonard was down on the scorecards when he knocked out Hearns in the 14oji round of the 1981 kova. It was only the second world championship unification match in welterweight history. Garcia and Thurman will face off in the 10oji unification in division history, and only the third between undefeated world champions.

Ačiū, kad šiandien kalbėjai su manimi Daile, nors akivaizdu, kad šis interviu susijęs su jūsų profesine karjera, ypač apie artėjančią kovą prieš Michaelą Kelly Kovo 3 d, Norėčiau pradėti interviu nuo to, kad skaitytojams šiek tiek pasakotumėte apie savo neprofesionalų boksą, ypač tavo mėgėjų karjera, kurį supratau, pradėjau nuo pergalės prieš vieną geriausių tuo metu divizijos vaikinų.

Boksuoti pradėjau nuo amžiaus 14, po daugiau nei vienerių metų treniruotės turėjau keletą tarpklubinių renginių, kol surengiau savo pirmąją mėgėjų kovą, kuri netrukus turėjo atstovauti mano miestui Liverpuliui., kuris tuo metu buvo prieš savo pirmąjį Velso numerį jo gimtajame mieste Wrexham.

 

Aš visada prisimenu savo trenerį sakantį, kad niekas nenori kovoti su šiuo berniuku, todėl eik jį išmušti, o antrajame raunde du kartus jį nuleidęs, teisėjas neturėjo pasirinkimo to sustabdyti.

 

Daugybė žmonių man pasakė, kad turiu šviesią šio sporto ateitį, bet tuo metu mano dėmesys buvo tapti profesionaliu futbolininku, kuris baigėsi tikra bloga trauma ir po 18 mėnesių fiziologija ir mano traumos reabilitacija.

 

Pagaliau grįžau į boksą dėl fitneso ir iškart įsimylėjau šį sportą, vos po kelių mėnesių treniruočių ėmiausi Niukaslyje kovoti su balta apykakle.

 

Laimėjęs, kad gavau daugybę gerų atsiliepimų ir supratau, kad turiu pradėti žiūrėti į tai rimtai ir pamatyti, kiek galiu nueiti sporte, Aš laimėjau Šiaurės rajoną, Didžiosios Britanijos ir Europos titulai nelicencijuotoje scenoje suprato, kad turiu kreiptis į profesionalią žaidimo pusę.

Aš tikrai netikėjau, kad tai tiesa, kai pirmą kartą sužinojau apie Pakistaną. Aš ką tik grįžau iš atostogų ir kitą minutę telefonu telefonu Amir Khano dėdei apie galimą kovą Pakistane.

Man patinka patekti tarp 4-6 mylių kiekvieną rytą, tada dirbsiu šiek tiek maišų ir gausiu pirtį, tada grįšiu namo ir ilsiuosi tada 10:30esu priklausomai nuo dienos Pirmadienis, Trečiadienis, Penktadienis Būsiu Mašinų skyriuje bent iki vidurdienio, dirbdamas su savo boksu.

 

Antradienis ir Ketvirtadienis „Spartan Dynamic“ būsiu iki vidurdienio dirbdamas savo jėgas ir kondicionuodamas, tada eisiu pasiimti šviežiai paruoštų patiekalų iš „Goodness Grill“ ir tada turėsiu darbo 2:30pm iki 9:30pm.

 

Tai sunkiai išlaikoma rutina, bet mano svajonei visa tai verta.

The 27-year-old recorded six knockouts in a row before stepping up in competition and impressing with a victory over Haskell Lydell Rhodes in March 2015 and a knockout of Levan Ghvamichava in March. He kept the momentum going by stopping established contender Walter Castillo in July and knocking out Lenny Zappavigna in their 140-pound title eliminator in December. LAS VEGAS–Karalius Vargas walked into enemy territory and won the WBC Super Bantamweight title with a 12-round majority decision over Gavin McDonnell at Ice Hall in Hull, Anglija.

Coyle hurt Noble with a right at the end of round two, and finished him with a booming right in round three, that sent Noble down. Noble got to his feet, but the referee stopped the fight.

Coyle is now 23-4. Noble is 11-2.

Dec Spelman (11-0) registered a 3rd round stoppage over Nathan King (14-28) in a scheduled 6-round light heavyweight bout.

Heavyweight Dave Allen (10-2-1) reikia tik 31 seconds to stop Lukasz Rusiewicz (22-29) in a heavyweight bout scheduled for 6 raundai.

In front of a crowd of 12,346 gerbėjai, Wilder was able to give his home state crowd another scintillating victory. Although Washington stole some of the early rounds, Wilder’s patience paid off as he was able to find his pace and finish Washington in the fifth frame.
In the blistering televised opener, Dominykas Breazeale (18-1, 16 Kos) stopped previously unbeaten Izuagbe Ugonoh (17-1, 14 Kos). Ugonoh controlled the fight early landing heavy blows to both Breazeale’s body and head, but Breazeale was able to compose himself and stormed back to knock out Ugonoh in impressive fashion.
The co-main event featured Jarrett Hurd (20-0, 14 Kos) knocking out Tony Harrison (24-2, 20 Kos) in the ninth round of their contest.

TEMECULA, Kalifas. Deloach, (17-1, 9 Kos), of Augusta, Ga. continued his impressive winning streak with his seventh straight victory as he claimed the vacant USBA super welterweight title with the win, knocking out Pearson (14-2, 10 Kos, WSB 3-0, 1 KO) į 2:30 antrojo turo.
Pearsono, who trains in Las Vegas and fights out of Dayton, Ohajas, was first knocked down after DeLoach threw a strong left hook that caught Pearson sideways and dropped him to the canvas with one minute to go in Round 2.
DeLoach didn’t let up, going after the hurting Pearson with a flurry of combinations sending him down again on a straight up right hand and leaving Pearson on his knees for the entire 10-second count.
“I’m not surprised that it happened so quickly,” DeLoach said. “We had a strategy and we stuck to it. Hard work pays off and that was proof. I didn’t think I was an underdog, but I understand the whole thing of psychological warfare. I always go into the ring like I am on top no matter what.”
The southpaw Pearson, who was appearing on ShoBox for third time, never got going and landed just one body punch in the short fight connecting on just nine percent of his total punches (four of 43) compared to 32 percent for DeLoach (29 apie 92).
“Pearson seemed a step slower from the start and DeLoach came forward,” sakė ShoBox ekspertas analitikas Steve'as Farhood, who later called the DeLoach win a shocker. “Oho. Even if you liked DeLoach to win this fight, you are surprised it happened this soon.”

The bout was originally scheduled for last September before Pearson was forced to withdraw due to an injury suffered in training.
“I felt lackluster,” Pearson said. “He came out and he was explosive, he was busy. He didn’t do anything I didn’t expect. Things happened the way they did, and you gotta take the good with the bad. He hit me in the eye which got me a bit disoriented. He fought like I thought he would, he did what he had to do. His performance didn’t surprise me.”

“I was definitely going for the KO throughout the night, but I was still boxing with him. I just gotta go back in the gym and continue developing as a fighter, I am just happy to bring the win home to my hometown and my home stable [Mayweather Akcijos].”
A straight right hand by Bravo dropped the 23-year-old Rodriguez for the first time in his career with 1:50 left in the fifth round giving Bravo a huge 10-8 turas. In the sixth round Bravo, 29, was again impressive and was able to effectively get inside against Rodriguez and land several powerful combinations.

Graves never made it out for the seventh round as he and his corner threw in the towel in between rounds. The referee, Ray Corona, signaled the end of the fight.
“As soon as I got in the ring, I knew it was game over for him,” Tabiti said. “Figuring out his game plan was easy money. The only thing I feel I could have done better was get him out of the fight quicker. He was talking a lot before the fight, but I didn’t let that get in my head I just came out and did what I was supposed to do.
