Atlantic City, Nueva Jersey (Abril 12, 2017)- El invicto peso superligero Keenan Smith se enfrentará a 67 fight veteran Edgar Gabejan in a bout scheduled for eight-rounds that will headline a 10-bout card at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

The show is promoted by GH3 Promotions and D and D Promotions.
The card will also feature many up and coming stars from the Philadelphia/New Jersey region.

“I think Andre said it best when he said somebody’s will was going to be broke in that fight. But it would be nice to go into that without biting the hand that fed you. Lippe-Morrison forced to withdraw from June 9 fight with broken hand

Miami, OKAY (Abril 11, 2017) – Undefeated heavyweight sensation Trey Lippe-Morrison has withdrawn from his Junio 9 bout after suffering a broken hand in training.
The power punching Lippe-Morrison is 13-0 con todas sus victorias por nocaut, 12 of which came inside of two rounds. En septiembre, 23 2016, he demolished previously unbeaten Ed Latimore in less than one round on Showtime and did so in front of a standing room only crowd at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, OKAY.
A member of Holden Productions’ “Four State Franchise,” Lippe-Morrison was scheduled to appear on a special edition ShoBox card Junio 9 en Verona, NY as part of Boxing Hall of Fame Weekend.
Lippe-Morrison had surgery on Friday, Abril 7 and will be out of the ring for approximately 3 meses.
“This is a minor setback,” said the legendary Freddie Roach, Lippe-Morrison’s head trainer. “This kid not only has talent but he’s an extremely hard worker. He was back in the gym two days after surgery.”
De Tony Holden, Lippe-Morrison’s promoter, is already working on his return bout.
“I spoke with ShoBox’s Gordon Hall and he was confident that Trey will be back on the series by the end of the year. I’m pushing to have a ShoBox card with Trey and Ivan Baranchyk together in Miami, OK or Joplin, MO this fall.”

Standing more than six feet tall, the 21-year-old Barrios won his first 12-round fight last July when he defeated Devis Boschiero after winning seven times in a busy 2015 campaña. The San-Antonio native followed up that victory with stoppage wins over Claudio Rosendo Tapia last December and Yardley Suarez in March to run his record to a perfect 18 wins in his first 18 pro aperturas.

Barrionuevo to Face Meza for WBC Latino Welterweight Championship
En Sábado, Mayo 13, promoter Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing, will present a night of world-class boxing, featuring several undefeated fighters risking their perfect records, at the Centro de Convenciones in Punta del Este, in his home country of Uruguay.
After the event’s weigh-in the night before, en Viernes, Mayo 12, Lewkowicz is also putting on a pair of very special seminars for South American officials and trainers.
Fighting in the Mayo 13 10-round main event will be WBC #14-rated welterweight Cesar Miguel “La Joya” Barrionuevo (31-3-2, 21 KOs) of Catamarca, Argentina, taking on Oscar “El Estudiante” Meza (28-7, 23 KOs) de Sinaloa, México for the WBC Latino Welterweight Championship.
Barrionuevo knocked out Panama’s Azael Cosio in five rounds last year, as part of the WBC’s aborted welterweight tournament. He was supposed to move on to face then undefeated Sammy Vasquez, however Vasquez elected instead to Olympic Gold Medalist Felix Diaz and lost a unanimous decision. Despite the setback, Barrionuevo is still in line for an eventual elimination fight, or even a world title shot. While he waits, he is engaging in this intriguing title fight against the well-respected Meza.
In the eight-round co-main event, undefeated super featherweight Sergio “El Pamperito” Sain (12-0, 9 KOs) of La Pampa, Argentina will face also undefeated Matias Romero (13-0, 6 KOs) of Córdoba, Argentina.

Also on the undercard is a six-round “all undefeated, all Argentina” battle between former Olympian and heavily decorated amateur Alberto “beto” Palmetta (3-0, 1 KO) of Buenos Aires and Octavio Ezequiel “Dinamita” Segundo (6-0, 2 KOs) of Salta, Argentina.
In a six-round super featherweight brawl, Martín “El Guapo” Matamala (9-2, 2 KOs) of Neuquen, Argentina, will have his hands full against undefeated Abraham Nova
(5-0, 4 KOs) of Braintree, Massachusetts, via Puerto Rico. Also scheduled to appear is undefeated super welterweight Andres Vera (2-0, 2 KOs) of Uruguay against an opponent TBA.
The event will be televised in Uruguay on VTV, and in Argentina and around the world on TyC Sports.
The night before the fights, in the luxury Centro de Convenciones (one of the most modernized venues in all south America) Lewkowicz will host two simultaneous seminars featuring well-known boxing figures.
World-famous referee Steve Smoger will conduct one of the seminars for boxing officials throughout the country, as well as in Argentina and Brazil. Here’s a quick question and answer session through an interpreter after visiting with Bivol at the apartment where he has been residing for the past five weeks in the heart of Hollywood.

 

Interrogación: Total, how would you assess how your training camp went?

 

búfalo: “I think that training camp went very good. One of the reasons I decided to come to Southern California to train was that there are so many different sparring partners here. We had a very spirited camp and I consider myself ready for the fight.”

 

Interrogación: What kind of fight do you expect from such a strong opponent as Samuel Clarkson?

búfalo: “I’m expecting for him to get in the ring and push himself and come forward. I know he’ll come out aggressive and try to put the pressure on me. We’ll see.”

 

Interrogación: You are young and have only nine pro fights, but are already fighting to defend an interim world title. Are you happy with the way your pro career has started?

 

búfalo: “To be honest, I don’t really ever think about the belt and the interim title. For me the main WBA belt is the most important one and I want to stay at the top of the rankings to get it. As far as my career going too fast, I don’t believe so. I think I have more than enough experience in the amateurs and that I’ve aligned myself with the best trainer and sparring partners out there. So I’m happy where my career is at right now. I don’t think it’s progressing too fast.”

 

Interrogación: There are some that are picking this fight as 50/50? Why do you think they are predicting this fight can go either way?"

 

búfalo: “This is boxing and I think there are a lot of fights that are 50/50. Puede pasar cualquier cosa. You never know; upsets can happen at any time. For me this is step-up fight. búfalo: “I love everything about it. The best thing though is the weather. In my hometown city in Russia, St. Petersburgo, we don’t have weather like this. I like the atmosphere here and the people and where we train. I just like it all.”

 

Interrogación: You have a large collection of amateur medals. Where are they displayed?

 

búfalo: “I keep them all in one place in my parents’ home. We don’t think we deserve them all. It is something they are very proud of.”

 

Interrogación: What do you think about the other top Russian boxers like Ruslan Provodnikov and Sergey Kovalev?

búfalo: “I respect them all. There are some that are very famous in Russia, but also very famous here. And I see that. They are really good fighters and I’m ready to be at that same level, if not even at a higher level. I’m not in this sport just to stay in shape, I’m here to show and prove that I can be the best in the world.”

LOS ANGELES (Abril 9, 2017) – Josesito López (35-7, 19 KOs) earned a decisive unanimous decision (100-89, 100-89, 100-89) encima Saul Corral (21-9, 12 KOs) en el Llamar Star Sports promoted main event of Liga de Campeones de Boxeo en FS1 & FOX Deportes desdeThe Novo en L.A. Vivo.
Although Corral was able to finish the fight, Lopez controlled the action throughout, dropping Corral to the canvas in the 10º round to cement the victory.

The non-televised fights featured a slew of talented fighters making their highly anticipated professional debuts. 2016 Mexican Olympian and Bronze medalist Misael Rodriguez (1-0) secured a unanimous decision (40-36, 40-36, 40-36) encima Brian True (1-7-1, 1 KO) in four-round slugfest.

“I thought when Lopez landed punches I came back strong, but I didn’t continue with the attacks because he was able to stop me.
“I just need to change some things up in training camp, and then I think I can get back to another big fight.”
ALEJANDRO LUNA
“Klimov is a very tough guy. We’ve seen him go the distance with Terrence Crawford. He’s fought the cream of the crop, so it’s an honor to get a win over him. He’s a top-level fighter, so this victory goes to show that we’re ready for any top-five lightweight.
“Our plan esta noche was to work the body. We noticed he has a pretty high guard, so I wanted to go to the body to break him down little by little.
“I know that I hurt him with a couple body shots, but he recovered fast. Later on, I hit him with an overhand right that got to him, but he’s such a tough guy.
“My thing is always to please the crowd. I think this sport is as much about entertainment as it is skill and the fans want to see a show. That’s why I bring the action and do whatever I can to make it exciting for them.
“The last round wasn’t my best. He was outworking me a little, so as soon as the 10-second bell rang I wanted to close the fight out strong. Desafortunadamente, I opened up and we clashed heads, which caused the cut over my left eye.”

Born in Kosovo, the 29-year-old Krasniqi (46-4, 17 KOs) is a former European and WBO International Light Heavyweight Champion, who resides in Munich, Germany and packs a thunderous punch. Three fights ago, he moved down in weight from Light Heavyweight to Super Middleweight, winning all three bouts at the new weight class and looking highly impressive.
En 2013, Krasniqi lost his first world title shot by way of a 12-round unanimous decision to defending WBO Light Heavyweight World Champion Nathan Cleverly (25-0), en Londres, by way of a hard-fought 12-round decision.
Following his first career defeat, Krasniqi went on to capture the WBO International Light Heavyweight Title with a seventh-round knockout of previously undefeated Emmanuel Danso (20-0), and has since defended that belt.
