Claressa Shields and Mary J Blige Appear as Superheroes in Commercial Aired During Sunday’s Oscars Broadcast

WBC and IBF World Super Middleweight Champion, and two-time US Olympic gold-medal winner, Claressa Escudos, appeared with music legend and fellow female superstar Mary J. Blige in a special 60-second short film that aired during Sunday’s worldwide broadcast of the 90th Academy Awards.
Directed by Dee Rees and sponsored by Walmart, the film was inspired by Walmart delivery boxes and featured Shields and Blige as superheroes.

A world-famous singer, compositor de canciones, record producer, and actress, Blige is a nine-time Grammy Award winner, a three-time Golden Globe nominee and the first woman to receive multiple Academy Award nominations in the same year (for Best Supporting Actress and Best Original Song). BROOKLYN (Marzo 4, 2018) – Campeón mundial invicto de peso pesado Deontay “El bombardero de Bronce” Wilder retuvo su título del CMB en su séptima defensa con un nocaut en el décimo asalto sobre el retador invicto Luis “The Real King Kong” Ortiz en un emocionante evento principal de SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING el sábado por la noche desde el Barclays Center, la casa de BROOKLYN BOXEO®.

“Fue una gran pelea y me desempeñé bien.,” Ortiz dijo. “Pensé que estaba arriba en la tarjeta de puntuación entrando en la décima ronda, pero es boxeo de peso pesado y nunca se sabe lo que va a pasar.

En el evento co-estelar de SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING, José Uzcátegui (27-2, 23 KOs) derrotado Andre Dirrell (26-3, 16 KOs) a través de TKO dos segundos en la ronda nueve, a petición del entrenador de Dirrell, Virgil Hunter. La victoria, lo que convierte a Uzcategui en el campeón mundial interino de peso súper mediano de la FIB, pone al venezolano contundente en posición de luchar por el título de peso súper mediano que Caleb Truax ganó por decisión mayoritaria sobre James DeGale en diciembre.
La pelea del sábado por la noche fue una revancha de la reñida May 2017 fin, en el que Uzcategui fue descalificado por conectar un puñetazo luego de que sonara la campana para finalizar el octavo asalto. En la revancha, Uzcátegui dominó la acción de principio a fin, usando su poderosa mano derecha para preparar el escenario para el asalto fulminante que llevó a la esquina de Dirrell a detener la pelea dos segundos después del noveno asalto. Uzcátegui derrotó a Dirrell 169-141 en golpes totales, incluyendo un enorme 112-51 discrepancia en los golpes de poder aterrizados.
“Me sorprendió un poco que lo detuvieran en el noveno,” Said Uzcátegui. “Dije que sería el tercer asalto que lo noquearía. Tardó un poco más, pero finalmente llegó.
“Creo que fue muy claro en la primera pelea que hice mi trabajo.. En la segunda pelea mostré aún más, así que habrá mucho Uzcategui de ahora en adelante.”

FILADELFIA, PENN./ORANGE, California. (Marzo. 1, 2018)- Undefeated and world ranked welterweight contender Taras Shelestyuk is ready to go big game hunting in 2018.
La 2012 Olympic Bronze medal winner from Sumy, Ucrania, que ahora pelea desde Los Ángeles, California, has won the major regional titles, and he feels he has been overlooked by the perceived elite of the 147 división de libras.

Shelestyuk also has been helping with the career of his wife Alina. Alina is a runway model, who has done numerous photo shoots in Los Angeles.

Witherspoon is on a six-fight knockout streak, with the latest being a 4th round stoppage over Jonathan Sandoval on October 1, 2016 in Trenton, Nueva Jersey.

Sheppard of Palestine, West Virginia has a record of 25-22-2 con 11 nocauts.

Sheppard is a 21 year-professional who has fought a whose-who of fighters that include former world champions Ruslan Chagaev, Antonio Tarver and James Toney: as well as world title challenger Gerald Washington.

Sheppard is coming off a loss to undefeated Simon Kean on December 16, 2017 en Laval, Quebec, Canadá.
