Miguel Madueño to Fight in WBA Title Elimination Bout Against Jezzrel Corrales on March 12th

**TARONJA, TAL COM (Març 7, 2022)** – Thompson Boxing’s unbeaten lightweight contender, **Miguel “El Explosivo” Madueño** (27-0, 25 KOs), who is known for his explosive power and exciting fights, now has the chance of a lifetime as he faces former world champion **Jezzrel Corrales** (25-4, 10 KOs), in WBA lightweight title eliminator. The 12-round bout will take place at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City, Panama on March 12, 2022, on a “KO to Drugs” event hosted by the WBA.

The 23-year-old Madueño is looking to change his life forever as a win would put him in line to be a mandatory challenger for the WBA lightweight world champion, which is currently held by **George Kambosos Jr.** (20-0, 10 KOs), one of the biggest names in the sport.

“I want to thank my promoter Thompson Boxing for guiding my career in such a great way,” said Madueño, who is currently riding a 13-fight knockout streak. “They provided a way to get in me in a position to display my skills to the world. This is my moment, and I will raise to the occasion as I want to be Thompson Boxing’s next great world champion.”

The 22-year-old Madueño, who hails from Guasave, Sinaloa, Mèxic, is coming off his most impressive victory, a tenth round TKO against **Sonny Fredrickson** (21-5, 14 KOs). That fight just took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, al setembre 14, 20201. Fresh off the win, Madueño is excited to be right back in the ring.

(Set. 21, 2020)** – La nit de divendres, Octubre 9, undefeated WBO number-two ranked featherweight contender **Ruben Villa** (18-0, 5 KOs) gets his much deserved world title shot when he takes on former WBO super bantamweight world champion, and WBO number-one ranked contender, **Emanuel Navarrete** (32-1, 28 KOs), in a battle for the WBO World Featherweight title.

Navarrete is undefeated in the last eight-years, que abasta 27 baralles.

FILADÈLFIA, PENN. / TARONJA, Califòrnia. (Novembre. 18, 2018) – Pes lleuger Jr. Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 KOs) closed out Thompson Boxing’s season finale in emphatic fashion by knocking out the well-tested veteran Ruben Tamayo (27-12-4, 18 KOs) in the third round Friday night from the Hotel Doubletree a Ontario, Califòrnia.

Holandès, who had turned 21 the day prior, celebrated his birthday weekend with his fifth win of the year and fourth straight knockout victory.

The West Texas-based Dutchover used his patience in the first round to learn the appropriate angles against Tamayo, who had previously been in the ring against first class talent such as Jhonatan Romero, Oscar Valdez, Joseph Diaz and Jesus Cuellar.

A la tercera, Dutchover unlocked his power with a left hook to the body that stunned and forced Tamayo to take a knee. After Tamayo beat the count, Dutchover attacked and landed a right onto the midsection, which dropped Tamayo once again.

Referee Lou Moret immediately waived off the fight at the 2:15 marca.

Michael Dutchover Looks to Close out 2018 With Another Win

FILADÈLFIA, PENN. / TARONJA, Califòrnia. (Octubre. 29, 2018) – The fast-rising Michael Dutchover (11-0, 8 KOs), with four solid wins on the year, aims to close out 2018 with another victory on Divendres, Novembre. 16, des Hotel Doubletree a Ontario, Califòrnia.

Holandès, qui complirà 21 the day before the event, will fight veteran and former world title challenger Daulis Prescott (31-9, 24 KOs) in the 8-round main event of Thompson Boxing’s “Tancat n’ Carregat” final de temporada.

Holandès, a junior lightweight fighting out of Midland, Tex., has had a breakout year of sorts with his recent display of power punching. His last three wins have come by way of knockout, including a sensational second round, one-punch destruction of Sergio Martinez in July.

“I’ve been in with some of the top names in the sport and they all teach me something different,” Dutchover said. “Danny Roman, Oscar Valdez and Jessie Magdaleno are a few that come to mind. They are incredible boxers and good people too. I’m fortunate to have met them this early in my career.”
