Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 KOs) Stops Ruben Tamayo in the Third Round on Friday Night

FILADÈLFIA, PENN. / TARONJA, Califòrnia. (Novembre. 18, 2018) – Pes lleuger Jr. Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 KOs) closed out Thompson Boxing’s season finale in emphatic fashion by knocking out the well-tested veteran Ruben Tamayo (27-12-4, 18 KOs) in the third round Friday night from the Hotel Doubletree a Ontario, Califòrnia.

 

 

 

Holandès, who had turned 21 the day prior, celebrated his birthday weekend with his fifth win of the year and fourth straight knockout victory.

 

 

 

The West Texas-based Dutchover used his patience in the first round to learn the appropriate angles against Tamayo, who had previously been in the ring against first class talent such as Jhonatan Romero, Oscar Valdez, Joseph Diaz and Jesus Cuellar.

 

 

 

A la tercera, Dutchover unlocked his power with a left hook to the body that stunned and forced Tamayo to take a knee. After Tamayo beat the count, Dutchover attacked and landed a right onto the midsection, which dropped Tamayo once again.

 

 

 

Referee Lou Moret immediately waived off the fight at the 2:15 marca.

 

 

 

“I feel like I’m growing into a better fighter with each and every fight,” va dir holandès, who is promoted by industry veterans Banner Promotions i Thompson Boxing. “I took my time in the first round, but then my corner advised me to start letting my hands go and I got the knockout win. Michael Dutchover Looks to Close out 2018 With Another Win

FILADÈLFIA, PENN. / TARONJA, Califòrnia. (Octubre. 29, 2018) – The fast-rising Michael Dutchover (11-0, 8 KOs), with four solid wins on the year, aims to close out 2018 with another victory on Divendres, Novembre. 16, des Hotel Doubletree a Ontario, Califòrnia.

 

 

 

Holandès, qui complirà 21 the day before the event, will fight veteran and former world title challenger Daulis Prescott (31-9, 24 KOs) in the 8-round main event of Thompson Boxing’s “Tancat n’ Carregat” final de temporada.

 

 

 

Holandès, a junior lightweight fighting out of Midland, Tex., has had a breakout year of sorts with his recent display of power punching. His last three wins have come by way of knockout, including a sensational second round, one-punch destruction of Sergio Martinez in July.

Dutchover’s confidence is a direct result of the high-level sparring he receives on a routine basis from the many top-notch gyms in the Los Angeles area.

 

 

 

“I’ve been in with some of the top names in the sport and they all teach me something different,” Dutchover said. “Danny Roman, Oscar Valdez and Jessie Magdaleno are a few that come to mind. They are incredible boxers and good people too. I’m fortunate to have met them this early in my career.”

FILADÈLFIA, PENN./ORANGE, Califòrnia. (Març 19, 2018)–Pes lleuger Jr. Michael Dutchover (8-0, 5 KOs) va fer una actuació impressionant en el seu debut a l'esdeveniment principal Dissabte nit des del Hotel Doubletree a Taronja, Califòrnia.

Holandès, 20, perspectiva sòlida completament encaixada i superada Ricardo López(7-2-2, 6 KOs) al to d'un costat, victòria per decisió unànime (puntuacions: 59-55 tot al voltant).
“Vaig sentir que controlava tota la lluita des del principi fins al final,” va comentar Dutchover, Qui és co-promotat per Banner Promotions i Thompson Boxing. “Va intentar arribar tard a la baralla, però era massa tard per a ell. Jo ja l'havia descobert.”

Elite Prospect Ruben Villa Battles Veteran Ernesto Guerrero Friday Night in Ontario, TAL COM

(Set. 20, 2017) – Ruben Villa (7-0, 4 KOs), one of the featherweight division’s brightest young talents, takes the next step in his development by clashing with veteran Ernesto Guerrero (26-19, 18 KOs) in one of two highly anticipated match-ups els divendres “New Blood” targeta de sota.

Vila, un zurt lluitant fora de Salinas, Qualif., turned professional last July and already has produced seven one-sided wins. His opponent for Friday, Mexico’s Guerrero, is no push over. Guerrero has won his last five fights, four of which ended in knockout fashion.

“Guerrero’s a veteran so we’ve been extra serious in this camp,” va dir Villa. “My team believes that I can take him out. My team wouldn’t set me up against an opponent that I wouldn’t be able to handle so I feel ready for this challenge.”

Vila, 20, loaded up on top-level sparring to help bridge the experience gap between him and Guerrero. He spent three weeks in Indio, Califòrnia. sparring against elite competition such as unbeaten, world title contender Joseph Diaz.

“The way Diaz puts his punches together was really impressive,” va dir Villa, promogut per Banner Promotions i Thompson Boxing. “Va ser una gran experiència d'aprenentatge per a mi. It’s not every day you get to spar with someone with that high of a skill level.”
