AGUASCALIENTES, MX (Abril 30, 2018) – This past Saturday, Promocions de sucre presented “FIRA DE CAMPIONS”, an eleven bout card from Aguascalientes, Mèxic. HUMBERTO VELAZCO IN TROUBLE WITH GOVERNMENT OF MEXICO FOR PULLING OUT OF FIGHT

AGUASCALIENTES, MX (Abril 30, 2018) – Super middleweight prospect, Humberto “Tito” Velazco (19-1-1, 13 KOs), qui és promogut per Promocions de sucre, is taking heat from the Government of Mexico for pulling out of his scheduled fight with Devis Caceres (24-8, 19 KOs), that was supposed to take place this past Saturday in Aguascalientes, MX.

 

 

 

Velazco was set to face Devis Caceres (24-8, 19 KOs) for the vacant WBC Silver Super Middleweight Title at the “Fira de Campions” card promoted by Sugar Promotions, but pulled out at the last minute, putting the entire card in jeopardy.

 

 

 

“We have programs here in Mexico that are funded by the government of Mexico in Aguascalientes,” dit Dr. Lorenzo Soboranes Maya, director of Latino public relations for Sugar Promotions in Mexico. “One of which was this weekend’s “Fira de Campions” boxing event that took place at the Plaça de toros de Sant Marc arena. After signing the contract, Velazco pulled out of the fight, leaving everyone involved scrambling for a replacement. This kind of conduct will not be tolerated, and legal action will be addressed. Velazco will be prosecuted by the full extent of the law, and he is not welcome to fight in this city ever again.”

 

 

 

“As Velazco’s promoter, I did everything on my end to get him a shot at the vacant WBC Silver Super Middleweight Title,” dit Oscar Vázquez, CEO of Sugar Promotions. “We came to an agreement on what his purse would be, he signed the contract, and then pulled out of the fight in the final days leading up to the fight. I have Velazco under contract. HUMBERTO “TITO” VELAZCO SCORES SENSATIONAL KNOCKOUT IN EL PASO, TX

AGUASCALIENTES, MX (Febrer 19, 2018) – Aquest passat Dissabte, en el Do Haskins Center a El Paso, TX, Promocions de sucre light-heavyweight prospect, Humberto “Tito” Velazco (19-1-1, 14 KOs), scored the knockout of the night, contra Thomas “Top Dog” Williams Jr. (20-4, 14 KOs).
Velazco, who hails from Aguascalientes, Mèxic, rallied from an early first round knockdown, which was more of an off-balance circumstance. Velazco wasn’t hurt and evened the score in the second round with his own knockdown, catching Williams with a short right to the face, a punch he didn’t see coming. Williams survived the round but was walking on wobbly legs. Now in a rhythm, Velazco’s timing was on point as he sent Williams to the deck for the second time in round three, this time hurting him badly with combination of punches. Williams survived once again only to be stopped in round four when Velazco, a heavy-handed southpaw, blasted him with a straight left, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the 1:37 marca.
“It was a great feeling to get a knockout in my first fight in the united states,” said Humberto Velazco, que està gestionat per Greg Hannley of Prince Ranch Boxing. “When I got up from the knockdown I wasn’t hurt, but it definitely woke me up. LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Octubre 24, 2017) – Prince Ranch boxa (PRB) has signed managerial agreements with four standout prospects from Mexico, super-featherweight Edwing Davila(16-0, 9 KOs), pesos ploma Isaac Avelar (13-0, 8 KOs), Mexico Featherweight titlist Daniel Colula (12-1-2, 3 KOs), and female Mayran Salazar (6-2). All fighters were signed to Damien Vázquez’ “Promocions de sucre” and will fight constantly in Aguascalientes, Mèxic.
“Signing talent from Mexico is a vital piece to my operation,” dit Greg Hannely. “Our goal here at Prince Ranch Boxing, is to have a solid foundation of fighters from Mexico, in addition to having great talent from America. LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Setembre 24, 2017) – Unbeaten super-flyweight prospect, Damien “Sucre” Vázquez (11-0, 6 KOs), makes his return to the ring on Octubre 14, 2017, at the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, Mèxic. He looks to further his world title campaign against veteran Javier Gallo (24-13-1) who is coming off of an impressive upset split decision victory over Jose Salgado in April. Vasquez versus Gallo is scheduled for ten rounds.

 

El invicte, emocionant, and youngest-ever signed Top Rank Inc. boxer Gabriel Flores makes his return to Northern Nevada at this year’s Rural Rumble. In his professional debut on 5 de maig, Flores delighted the Reno fight fans by impressively knocking out Devon Jones. On June 30th, he scored his second consecutive KO over Jahaziel Vasquez in Texas. .

 

Four other bouts are scheduled for August 12th in Fallon. Carson City’s own Diego Elizondo will be making his anticipated professional debut in a four-round lightweight fight. After impressing the boxing fans in Fallon last year, undefeated Northern California favorite Pedro Moreno (6-0) returns to the 2017 Rural Rumble in a lightweight bout. Reno Jr.-flyweight, Santos Vasquez, looks to continue his third win in a row in a six-round bout. And finally, Reno bantamweight Alec McGee (2-1) looks to get back into the win column as he, massa, returns to Fallon for the 2017 Rural Rumble in a four round scrap.
