“I know the spotlight will be on me, but I will keep my cool and focus on getting the win,” Ha detto Herring. “Training has been going really well because I stay in shape year round. I know my opponent is tall and rangy and has a good punch. I am preparing myself to make adjustments and be ready for anything. I’m looking to get the win by any means necessary.”

The 30-year-old Herring represented the United States at the 2012 Olympic games after winning the U.S. Titolo Nazionale Dilettanti nello stesso anno. BETLEMME, PA. (Dicembre 30, 2015) – Imbattuto Omar Douglas (16-0, 11 KO) gritted out a 10-round unanimous decision over Frank De Alba (17-2-2, 6 KO) il Martedì night’s edition of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) MARTEDI TOE-to-toe su FS1 e Boxing Champions on FOX Deportes from Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, Papà.
Douglas started to turn up the heat up in round two as he landed two hard left hooks that stopped De Alba in his tracks. De Alba was able to gain confidence in round three, as he was able to counter effectively against Douglas.
Round five had the best two-way action of the first half of the fight with both guys digging deep to gain an advantage. Douglas seemed to get the better of the exchanges as he landed the harder combinations. Douglas began to take over the middle rounds and in round eight, a left hook rocked De Alba and put him in danger for this first time in the fight.
The two fought hard down the stretch and excited the crowd with Douglas winning in the end by majority decision by scores of 97-93, 96-94 e 95-95.
In caso di co-main, Miguel Cruz (12-0, 11 KO) remained perfect by scoring a seventh-round stoppage over Virgil Green (11-4, 3 KO) in a scheduled eight-round welterweight battle.

Brooker controlled most of the action and came out with a strong first round landing some solid punches in close on Hall. “With each fight I’m learning something new. I know as my career moves along there will be times when I will have to go into deep waters, so I’m continuously working on my boxing skills. Right now I’ve been fortunate to get some early knockouts, but I train to fight twelve rounds. I’m evolving as a fighter and pretty soon I’ll be better-rounded with my boxing abilities.”

LAS VEGAS (Settembre 29, 2015) – Javier “Il Abejon” Fortuna (29-0-1, 21 KO) used a relentless attack to stop Carlos “Doppia sogno” Velasquez (19-2, 12 KO) in the tenth-round and retain his super featherweight world title on Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) MARTEDI TOE-to-toe su FS1 e Boxing Champions su FOX Deportes da Il Teatro Perla a Palms Casino Resort.
Fortuna blitzed Velasquez dalla campana di apertura, con il suo stile goffo pressione per aprire nuove opportunità di atterrare pugni. Dolton ha gettato più pugni di Molina, ma Molina sbarcò a una percentuale più alta ed è stato in grado di atterrare i suoi pugni di potenza sopra 50 cento del tempo. “Il piano di gioco era quello di rendere la sua mancanza con la mano sinistra e poi a ottenere con il diritto alla marinara. Mi sono messa in là e ha iniziato lo sopraffazione. Ho deciso di appena bestia lui. Ho pensato di finire più forte alla fine del combattimento.
“Ha davvero un buon tempismo. Siamo entrambi tecnici. Volevo fargli perdere, voleva farmi mancare. Ha atterrato alcuni colpi di potenza più ma io lo faceva lavorare per esso alla fine.”
OSCAR MOLINA
“Ho lasciato troppo vicino, quindi non posso lamentarmi della decisione. Andrò a casa a guardare la battaglia, ma in questo momento non mi posso lamentare. I giudici hanno visto quello che hanno visto.
“Il piano di gioco era quello di rimanere rilassato, ma sono caduto fuori dal piano di gioco. Ho fatto male nel terzo turno e tipo di mi incasinato. Ho iniziato a cercare che un solo colpo di porvi fine. Devo lavorare di rimanere costante e rilassata.
“Dolton aveva vero lavoro buon piede, ha catturato mi affondo in. Lo conosco dai tempi dilettanti quindi so quanto è bravo.
“Sono motivato a tornare in palestra e cominciare ad andare 20, 30 giri senza stancarsi. Sono stato gassato alla fine, ma si tratta di una esperienza di apprendimento.”
