New Jersey promoter makes first wave of signings
All will be in action on Sobota, November 12th v hotelu Claridge v Atlantic Cityju
Millville NJ (Oktober 3, 2016)–Rising Promotions is proud to announce the signings of super middleweight Isiah Seldon, super lightweight’s Marvin Johnson & Dan Murray, bantamweight Dallas Holden, cruiserweight David Sparks and featherweight Dion Sparks to exclusive promotional contracts.
They join undefeated heavyweight Quian Davis (3-0-2, 2 KO je) as the first group of fighters to ink contracts under the Rising Promotions banner.
Davis is coming off a 28 second knockout this past Sobota night in Trenton, New Jersey over Jonathan Hafley

24 years-old and turned professional in 2014, and is is coming off a four-round unanimous decision over Lamont White on 22. julij v Atlantic City.
“It’s a blessing and great opportunity in my career. It puts my family in a better position. It gives me a good opportunity to fight in front of my hometown fans. I want to thank Debbie LaManna, Thomas LaManna and Vinny LaManna. It has effected and changed my family lives. I was on the shelf for a year and now I get the opportunities to show my skills,” said Johnson.
Murray, 24 years-old of Barnegat, New Jersey was 26-7 kot amater. He was a New Jersey Golden Gloves and New Jersey Diamond Gloves champion.

“I am very excited and ready to go out and show the world what I have to offer, I am glad to sign with Rising Promotions and I will show everyone what I am all about. I worked very hard and hard work pays off,” Said Murray
Holden, 20 years-old of Atlantic City was a highly regarded amateur who amassed 50 pretepi. Holden fought in the Philadelphia Golden Gloves. He has a professional record of 1-0. Holden turned professional on 22. julij with a four-round unanimous decision over Kevin Asmat in Atlantic City.
“I have known Thomas for a long time and its going to be a good thing. It’s going to open a lot of doors. Because of my amateur career, people know me and now they want to see me fight as a professional,” said Holden.
David Sparks of Brooklyn, New York ima evidenco 2-0. The 31 year-old obrnil v poklicni 2014 and in his latest outing, he won a four-round unanimous decision over Marcellus Yates on March 28, 2015 in Queens, New York
Before turning pro, Sparks competed in 80 amateur fights and amassed 3 National championships, Golden Gloves and Ringside world championships
“Signing came at a great time. We needed a break in our career. We have been going through some difficult things. I expect to fight a lot . Hopefully every month or two. I am always in the gym. Hopefully eight to ten fights.

With a win, the 24 year-old of Millville, New Jersey is staring a big opportunity in the face against an undefeated opponent that is already penciled in for a September 16th date in Atlantic City.
Čeprav, LaManna can not and will not get into specifics of that fight until he comes through the fight with Valenzuela as he is not taking the native of Sonora, Mexico lightly.
“Valenzuela is a guy from Mexico, who will come to fight. I will try to invest in body work early and see where that goes,” said Lamanna.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Julij 19, 2016)–Ta petek noč v Claridge v Atlantic Cityju, welterweight, Anthony “Juice” Young will be in the headlining bout for the first time, and he gets to do it in front of his hometown fans as he takes on Eduardo Flores in six-round bout in a card promoted by Rising Promotions.
The 28 year-old former college football player will look for his 2nd straight win and in the process look to put on a dominant performance against a man who has more than three-times the amount of fights then the Atlantic City native.
“Camp has gone well. I have been sparring with a fighters such as Anthony Burgin, Tevin Farmer, Thomas LaManna and Arturo Padilla,” je dejal Young.
In Flores, he is facing a guy who has faced a litany of prospects and contenders and is by far the most experienced foe that Young has faced.
“I know he is a veteran and has been stopped five times in 47 pretepi. I know he is coming to fight and I hope to execute the game plan and then I can be the 6th guy to stop him.”
This will be Young’s 7th fight on the boardwalk and fourth in a row, yet unlike some fighters who do not like fighting at home due to outside demands for tickets, Young embraces the opportunity to perform in front of familiar faces.
“It is always a big deal to fight in front of the home crowd. I feed off of them and it urges me on to put on a great performance. Even though this is my first headliner, I always feel like I am the headliner no matter where I fight, but especially here.”
Young knows that a few good wins can put him in position to get in line for a great opportunity, but he is not looking past Flores.
“I plan on getting the win v petek. I am taking this one fight at a time. I am looking to get back in the ring in September and hopefully fight for a regional title next year. I just want everyone to come out v petek and put on a spectacular performance.”

This will be Young’s 6th (and 4th consecutive) fight in his hometown.
He is coming off a 6-round unanimous decision victory over Juan Rodriguez on April 29.
Vasquez of Managua, Nicaragua has a record of 12-14-2 z osmimi Knockouts.
