Piladelpya, PA (Nobyembre 29, 2017) – They fought as amateurs, and are both considered among the best super middleweights in the city.
Ito Biyernes gabi, Brandon Robinson and Christopher Brooker meet as professionals in what could shape up to be an explosive co-feature bout of a 12 fight card at the

2300 Arena sa Philadelphia.
The eight-round bout is for the UBF All-Americas title.
The loaded show is promoted my King’s Promotions.
The main event will pit Tyrone Brunson (25-6-2, 23 Kos) laban sa Manny Woods (16-6-1, 6 Kos) of Saint Petersburg, Florida in a junior middleweight bout scheduled for ten rounds.
“Pagsasanay ay malaki. This has been the best camp that I have had since turning professional hands down,” said Robinson.
Although this could be a breakthrough fight for 29 year-old Robinson, He has been looking at Brooker no different than any previous foe.
I look at every fight as a big fight. I see each fight as if I am fighting Canelo or Golovkin, so I get my self in the best shape I can be.
Being that they are in the same city, there is the aforementioned history between the two fighters.
We fought as amateurs, and I won that fight. Since the, we have sparred a couple times, and that has given me a great scouting report on him, and let’s just say I feel very comfortable going into this fight.
Fighting against another Philly fighter is nothing new for Robinson as he already has a victory over Lamont McLaughlin.
I have been through this, and these kind of fights bring out the best of me, and with a winsa Biyernes, this will open up many doors for me that I never expected to be opened. I am looking for a complete performance, The fans will see power in both hands, craftiness, ring generalship and a huge heart. I just want to thank King’s Promotions, and I am looking to take home the UBF All-Americas Super Middleweight title.
For the 26 year-old Brooker, he has been here before but he wants to get back in the win column after losing to undefeated Light Heavyweight Ahmed Elbiali in a fight that he took on short notice on Hulyo 18.
I got right back in the gym after that fight. I been working for 12 weeks. I have a new personal trainer Jermaine Clark and my new trainer Octavio Pineda,” said Brooker.
Brooker does not believe that the amateur loss to Robinson means anything going into Friday night.
Yea, it does not mean anything. It was my 3rd amateur fight. The sparring sessions were good. I treated them like I wanted to get some revenge for losing to him, and I am very confident after those sessions. This fight for me is about getting this belt . People will see me outwork him and outclass him.
Brooker has made his name throughout the boxing circles with his willing to fight and defeat anybody at anytime. That is evidenced by his wins over Leo Hall, John Magda, Antowyan Aikens and Gabriel Pham. Brooker also stepped up to face Elbiali, Ronald Gavril and Ronald Ellis, and he became a favorite on national television because of his tough as nails style.
Robinson is just another guy in front of me. I been in and defeated much more experienced fighters then him. He has not have anything that I have not seen in the ring. I am not looking past him, I am looking through him. I was beating Gavril before the fight was unjustly stopped. He went on to barely lose in a bid for a world title and now he is getting a rematch with him, so that just shows what level I am on. I want that rematch or (WBC Champion) David Benevidez.
I appreciate King’s Boxing and I am honored to fight for another belt. I appreciate Brandon for signing the contract. Biyernes night is a big fight for me, my family and all of my supporters.

BETHLEHEM, PA. (Abril 5, 2017) – Former title challenger Edner Cherry (36-7-2, 19 Kos) won a competitive decision over Omar Douglas (17-2, 12 Mga Presyo) sa pangunahing kaganapan ngPremier Boxing Champions TOE-TO-TOE Martes on FS1 at Boxing Champions sa Fox Sports Martes night from Sands Bethlehem Events Center in Bethlehem, Pa.
Cherry came out aggressive from the opening bell, landing a strong left hook and backing up Douglas early and often over the first few rounds. Douglas attempted to control the fight with his jab and movement and had some success moving his head to avoid many of the power punches from Cherry.
Douglas did well as he increased his attack to the body in the middle rounds and continued to move backward to avoid the power punches being thrown by Cherry. The differing styles left the judges with a decision to make in weighing the movement and technique of Douglas versus the aggression of Cherry.
Sa katapusan, the consistency of Cherry’s attack, who frequently targeted Douglas with combinations to the head, was more effective in the minds of the judges. The final score totals were 98-92 at 96-94 twice for Cherry.
Additional action featured Philadelphia’s Stephen Fulton (11-0, 5 Kos) earning a unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Luis Rosario (8-1-1, 7 Kos) in their eight-round super bantamweight contest.
Rosario was the more aggressive fighter in the early rounds, but it was Fulton who timed his opponent first and built up an early lead with a combination of check hooks and power punches. Fulton was patient against the attack-minded Rosario and was able to counter effectively while avoiding Rosario’s power punches.
Fulton continued to have success in the middle rounds as Rosario’s attack slowed, but the Puerto Rican fighter came out with an increased level of aggression in round seven and tagged Fulton during several exciting exchanges.
Despite the increasing pressure, Fulton was able to stay composed and fend off Rosario over the final two rounds on his way to winning a unanimous decision by scores of 78-74, 79-73 at 80-72.
The opening bout of the telecast saw Bethlehem’s Frank DeAlba (22-2-2, 9 Kos) score a unanimous decision over Ryan Kielczweski (26-3, 8 Kos) sa isang walong-round super featherweight labanan.
The hometown fighter got off to a slow start as Kielczweski appeared to control the early rounds using his movement and tagging the southpaw with right hands. DeAlba began to work on the inside of his opponent and found more success starting in the fourth round.
Once he had closed the distance, DeAlba began to land hooks to the head and smothered much of Kielczweski’s offense. With an increased emphasis on body-punching in the late rounds, DeAlba turned the tide of the fight in the judgesminds and earned a unanimous decision by scores of 77-75 dalawang beses at 80-72.
Narito ang kung ano ang mga mandirigma ay upang sabihin Martes gabi:
Edner CHERRY
I take my hat off to Douglas. I thought I pulled out the victory. I tried to press for it but it was a back and forth fight.
I’m excited to get the win. I beat a great young fighter. I hate when people say I’m old because I work harder than these young fighters. I drive an hour and a half to the gym every day to do this.
I’m looking for big things. I want to be great and I want the biggest fights out there. I believe I’m going to get a significant fight.
OMAR DOUGLAS
I didn’t lose that fight. Period.
The fight went how I expected it would in the ring. I’ve always been a fan of his. I feel like I fight great competition and I was able to out box him with my jab. He tried to bait me in and I showed I was the better boxer.
STEPHEN FULTON
I feel good winning my first eight-round fight and televised bout. I feel great after that performance. The fight went exactly how I thought.
I knew he would try to drop combinations on me, but I worked my jab and moved so I would not be in a straight line for his left hand.
LUIS ROSARIO
Fulton is a good boxer. He did not want to fight man-to-man, but he moved well. He was shying away from exchanging with me.
I thought it was a close fight that could have gone either way. I blocked a lot of his punches with my gloves.
FRANK DEALBA
“Iyon ay isang mahusay na paglaban. He is a tough fighter and I felt I did enough to get the decision. I out boxed him. He was just looking for one big shot.
Hopefully this win gets me to another level. He has fought really good opponents, so a win over him gets me to fight bigger fights. I was in great shape. I saw he was tiring and I thought that was the difference.
RYAN KIELCZWESKI
It was a good fight for me and I stuck to my game plan. In the seventh round he hit me with a body shot and knocked the wind out of me.
It was a close fight but I thought I won 5-3. I could have lived with a draw. He got the close rounds, but every round? Come on.

Cherry of Wauchula, Florida has had a smooth camp while training in the Sunshine State and is ready for the 46th start of his professional start.
Everything is good, and we will be prepared for everything on Abril 4,” said the 34-year-old Cherry.
“Sa Abril 4, whatever Douglas brings, we will be prepared for. This is not the first time, that I’ve been in this position. He is the guy who has to prove he can perform. I have been there before, so the pressure is on him.
Cherry has been a top contender at both the 130 at 135 pound dibisyon, and he even challenged for a world title at 140 pounds. He believes there are many reasons that he has remained a viable contender who has only lost once in the last nine years and 13 fights.
I am motivated and I believe in myself,” Sinabi Cherry. “Those are the reasons that I am still here at the top of the 130 at 135 divisions. My family gives me drive every day. Abril 4 will be another great fight. This is my job and I have to go out and do it well.
Cherry believes a win should gain him another crack at a world title.
A win definitely puts me ahead. It will open doors for better fights and better paydays. A title shot is what I want. But also a bigger money fight that will take care of my family.
Douglas has been training at home in Delaware, has been working hard for this fight, which could be a breakthrough fight on the heels of his narrow defeat to former world champion Javier Fortuna last November.
“Ang lahat ay mahusay na. This has been a long camp. I have been getting great work,” sinabi ng 26- year-old Douglas.
I am the better fighter. I have known about him for a long time. I watched him a lot when he fought sa Biyernes Night Fights.”
That fight with Fortuna was a major step up, and Douglas had a lot of positive moments, as he dropped the former champion in the 1st round, only to lose by three points on two cards and one point on a third card.
The Fortuna fight let me know and let the people know that Omar Douglas is a world class fighter. Even in a loss, people did not expect me to do well. I thought that I showed a lot that night and I will carry that confidence into this fight on Abril 4.”
Douglas believes that a win over Cherry is his path to a world title.
I think that it is time. I just happen to be crossing paths with Cherry. This fight makes sense for me. I will let people know that I am player at 130 pounds, and a win will earn me a title shot. I have shown that I will fight anyone. Look at the records of my previous opponents. Fortuna was 30-1 and one fight removed from being a world champion. Alexei Collado was 19-1; Frank De Alba was 17-1. So wins over those guys plus Cherry should have me right there, but I am focusing on Edner Cherry. He is a great veteran, pero sa Martes night I will be victorious.

READING, PA (Marso 18, 2017) – In a 12-round heavyweight war that lived up to the hype, Amir Mansour (23-2-1, 16 Kos) was able to take a majority decision (114-114, 117-111, 115-113) over Travis Kauffman (31-2, 23 Kos) in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions: The Next Round on Bounce from Santander Arena in Reading, PA.

Sa pag-ikot ng dalawang, Kauffman buckled Mansour with a hard right on the inside. The two fighters started round four with bad intentions as they each landed hard shots on the inside. Kauffman switched back and forth between orthodox and southpaw stances in an attempt to befuddle the southpaw Mansour.

By the closing rounds, both fighters began to grind out a hard-fought battle on the inside. In rounds nine and 10, it was Mansour who had more pep in his step, landing several hard blows to close out round 10.

Pag-ikot 12 was a classic heavyweight slugfest, as Kauffman and Mansour stood toe-to-toe landing leather on each other for the whole three-minute period, with Mansour doing just enough to get the win.

Televised coverage opened with Chordale Booker (6-0, 3 Kos) ng Brooklyn, New York getting a unanimous decision (59-55, 59-55, 58-56) over Moshea Aleem (4-1-1, 2 Kos) ng Richmond, Virginia in a super welterweight bout.

The co-main event featured two-time welterweight world champion Kermit Cintron (39-5-3, 30 Kos) and David Grayton (15-1-1, 11 Kos) fighting to a technical majority draw after Cintron was deemed unable to continue due to a cut over his right eye.

Sa pag-ikot ng limang, Grayton floored Cintron with an overhand left. Later in the round, Grayton nailed Cintron with an unintentional headbutt to the right eye, which opened up the cut that led to the end of the bout. Action was stopped at 2:53 ng pag-ikot ng limang.

Here is what the fighters had to say following their bouts:

TRAVIS KAUFFMAN

I got robbed. It’s plain and simple. Iyon ay isang mahusay na paglaban, but I thought I won by three rounds.

He landed a couple of shots, but I clearly outworked him. I thought I landed more and did enough to get the win.

AMIR MANSOUR

They thought I was old and would tire down the stretch, but I am mentally strong.

I give Travis (Kauffman) credit. He stood in there with me tonight. But as I waited for the scores, I knew I won the fight. These were honorable judges.

“Gusto kong (Deontay) Wilder next. I am 44-years-old. I want my shot. They should give me my shot and try to get me out of the way.

KERMIT CINTRON

“Ako ay nanalong ang labanan. Then he started to apply pressure and he caught me when I was off balance.

He kept coming in with his head, and he finally caught me good with it. I was fine and wanted to continue, but the doctor decided to stop the fight.

DAVID GRAYTON

I won that fight. I think he could have continued.

I was in control of the fight, but I was in his hometown, and you know how that goes.

CHORDALE BOOKER

“Iyon ay isang mahusay na paglaban. I needed this fight to see where I am. And I wanted to fight another undefeated fighter. It was a step up on national television.

I give myself a B- for my performance tonight. My movement was good, but I did not sit down on my power enough. It was a good learning experience though. I could not ask for a better platform to perform on.

MOSHEA ALEEM

I did not do enough. I waited too long to throw my punches and he outworked me.
