One of the most exciting fighters in boxing makes his return to the ring this Sábado noite as former world title challenger “The American Boy” Jason Litzau (29-3-1 23KOs) de St. Paul, MN faces Iowa’s Lance “Lay ‘Em Down” Williams (7-5 4KOs) in an eight round lightweight bout that headlines Jim Loons Boxing and Promotion’s “Throwdown at the Bear” no caso Black Bear Casino and Resort in Carlton, MN. Litzau’s last fight in August of 2015 was a highly controversial draw against Hylon Williams Jr. Litzau is eager to prove he will still be a factor in the lightweight division. Las Vegas, NV (Novembro 10, 2016) – In the lead up to Sergey Kovalev vs. Andre Ward “Libra por libra”, a 12-round mega-fight for the WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight title on Novembro 19 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the undercard will round out a 10-bout card filled with some of the best young boxing prospects.

 

Opening the card will be middleweight Meiirim “Sultan” Nursultanov of Merki, Cazaquistão, making his pro debut. Nursultanov, now residing in Oxnard, TAL COMO, is managed by Egis Klimas, and recently signed by Main Events. He will be taking on Henry Beckford (4-5, 1 KO) of Hempstead, Nova Iorque, em um ataque de seis rodada.

Bakhram Murtazaliev (6-0, 4 KO) de Grozny, Russia and close friend of Kovalev is coming off a second round knockout over Magomedkamil Musaev. Jennings is determined to get his record back on track, but he will face his toughest test to date in McCreary.

In the spotlight fight on the freeview telecast, Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist (2012, 2016) Claressa “T-Rex” Shields of Flint, MY, will make her pro debut. Kovalev vs. Enfermaria “Pound For Pound”, a 12-round mega-fight for the WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight title at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, is presented by Main Events, Roc Nation Sports, Krusher Promotions and Andre Ward Promotions and is sponsored by the MGM Grand Hotel & Cassino, Corona Extra, Monster Products, JetLux and Zappos. Chester, PA (Setembro 28, 2016)–Undefeated junior welterweight David “TwoGunz” Gonzales is looking for a big effort this noite de sexta-feira when he takes on the tested Samuel Seah in an eight-round bout that will headline a 9-fight card at Harrahs Philadelphia.
The show is promoted by King;s Promotions.

“I sparred with him once and he is a pretty skillful guy. He is from Philly, so I know he has heart but he is not on my level. The sparring session was about 6 rounds. I haven’t watched any tape on him, but I know the only way he can win is if he is in better shape and I know that’s not possible because I am great shape. I am also naturally bigger, so I think that will be a factor.”
This is another “Philly vs. Philly” união, which is always special to the fans in attendance.
“We are both from Philly. People look forward to seeing these matchups and especially this early in our careers, but I am the one that will have my hands raised.”
Sim, who has had a couple fights and wins on national television, so Gonzales knows a win will put him on the map in the junior welterweight division.
“He is known in Philly and he had a big win over (previously undefeated” O'Shaquie Foster. I will show that I am on that level and this will start getting me higher profile fights.”

Here is what Garcia had to say when looking back at some moments from his career so far:
Q: What do you consider to be the best performance of your career?
Danny Garcia: The best performance of my career, Acredito, was against Lucas Matthysse. I was the unified world champion, I was a 3-to-1 underdog, he was knocking everybody out. I don’t think one person in the world thought I’d win that fight, but I knew deep in my heart I was the better fighter.
Q: What’s your favorite punch in the ring?
DG: My favorite punch is actually my right hand, but for some reason the left hook knocks everybody out. So I don’t know, um. Whatever punch lands, I try to use all my punches and different weapons in different angles. I try to use each hand as the set-up punch for the next punch. So I don’t really have a favorite punch. A lot of people think it’s my left hook, I like the right hand better, but the left hook just knocks everybody out.
Q: Which opponent you fought hit you the hardest?
DG: The two strongest opponents I’ve fought with the best punching power were Kendall Holt and Lucas Matthysse. They kind of had the same kind of power. It was like a thumping shot, and when they hit you, you felt like “Ooh, this man can punch.”
Q: Who was the hardest opponent for you to hit in your career?
DG: The hardest opponent I had to hit was probably Lamont Peterson. Ele estava se movendo muito, he wasn’t trying to engage with me at all, was trying to use the ring a lot with lateral movement. He came with a good game plan.

DG: Barclays Center is No. 1. I’d probably say the Zab Judah fight. We hold the gate (registro), the most fans to go to Barclays for a boxing event. It was like a concert.
Q: When was the maddest your dad ever got at you during a fight?
DG: My dad is always mad. He’s happy sometimes, but when it’s fight time, he’s always mad. That’s all I can say.
Q: Are there any fighters you watched growing up who you style yourself after? Or are there any fighters out there who maybe remind you of yourself?
DG: I take a lot from different fighters. (Felix) Trinidad, I loved his left hook. Prince Naseem Hamed, I loved how he wore the animal print, and then I did that. Roy Jones Jr., Bernard Hopkins, those are fighters I looked up to. (Julio Cesar) Chavez, going to the body, that left hook to the body. I take a lot of things from other fighters’ arsenals and put it into my style. But I never try to be any other fighter. I try to be myself.
Q: When you meet him next March, where will Keith Thurman rank among the opponents you’ve faced in your career?

PHILADELPHIA (Novembro 9, 2016) – Spike TV’s upcoming broadcast of the Premier Boxe dos Campeões series on Sábado, Novembro 12 em 9:00pm ET/PT will have some extra knockout power. Filadélfia, PA (Novembro 9, 2016) – Undefeated super bantamweight Adam Lopez is excited to make his Philadelphia debut when he takes on Carlos Valcarcel nesta sexta-feira noite no 2300 Arena em Filadélfia.

Lopez de San Antonio, Texas is ranked 4th by the WBA and has a record of 15-0-1 com sete nocautes.
“My camp was pretty good, and just getting down to the nitty gritty. I was sparring two days a week and I am ready to go,” disse López.

“If I would have won that, I would be fighting for a world title. I wanted to win that fight in general, but I look forward to the next fight. Maybe I wasn’t supposed to get the title shot now. I just have to work and that shot will come. I just have to be patient.”
Valcarcel has a record of 14-8-4 com cinco knockouts. O 34 year-old native of Miami, Florida has wins over Jovanny Soto (15-2-1), Rodolfo Garay (14-2-1) & Leivi Brea (16-4-3).
O 12 year veteran also has fought former world champion Eric Morel and future world champion Jessie Magdaleno.
Valcarcel is coming off a 6th round stoppage defeat to undefeated Erick DeLeon on June 25th em Dallas, Texas.
“I know he is a 2004 Olímpico. He is a veteran and a crafty fighter. He has a surviving style in the sense he is defensive and crafty. He is not a knockout puncher but you have to respect anyone who puts on those gloves,” said Lopez of his opponent.
Lopez is ready to show his skills in front of the knowledgeable Philadelphia fight crowd.
“I always know that Philly is a great fight town. I actually want to see the park here “The Fresh Prince” was bullied at,” Lopez said laughingly.

LAS VEGAS (Novembro. 9, 2016) – Sharif “O Leão” Bogere (29-1, 20 KO) is back in action after a flawless fifth round TKO victory against Luis Florez on September 16th. Bogere will face Hylon Williams (16-3-1, 3KO) in a 10-round lightweight battle on December 2nd at Sam’s Town Live in the main event. A win for Bogere will increase his win streak to seven and bring him one step closer to a title opportunity.

“It’s been said that this is my redemption fight,” Disse Theophane. “I have been faced with many challenges in my career, with my back up against the wall and have bounced back. This fight is like any other fight, and I plan to come out victorious,”
Bogere fights out of Las Vegas, while proudly representing his native Uganda. The 27-year-old won his first 23 pro fights while picking up victories over Raymundo Beltran, Francisco Contreras, and Manuel Levya. He enters this bout on a six-fight win streak and will be challenged by Hylon Williams fighting out of Las Vegas, NV.
Originally from Houston, Williams now fights out of Las Vegas. He began his career in 2008 com um 15-0 registro, until former two-division world champion Rances Barthlemy stopped him back in February 2012. Williams bounced back with a win versus John Willoughby the same year, and after a 3 year hiatus found himself back in the ring to face Jason Lizau, which judges ruled a draw. Desde então, Wiliams has suffered back-to-back losses against Yuriokis Gamboa on December 19 2015, and Rashad Ganaway on August 20, 2016.
Theophane has faced many top opponents in the 140-147 classe, including Danny Garcia, Pablo Cesar Cano, and Adrien Broner.
