One of the most exciting fighters in boxing makes his return to the ring this Samedi nuit as former world title challenger “The American Boy” Jason Litzau (29-3-1 23KOs) de St. Paul, MN faces Iowa’s Lance “Lay ‘Em Down” Williams (7-5 4KOs) in an eight round lightweight bout that headlines Jim Loons Boxing and Promotion’s “Throwdown at the Bear” événement au Black Bear Casino and Resort in Carlton, MN. Litzau’s last fight in August of 2015 was a highly controversial draw against Hylon Williams Jr. Litzau is eager to prove he will still be a factor in the lightweight division. Las Vegas, Nevada (Novembre 10, 2016) – In the lead up to Sergey Kovalev vs. Andre Ward “Livre pour livre”, a 12-round mega-fight for the WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight title on Novembre 19 au T-Mobile Arena de Las Vegas, the undercard will round out a 10-bout card filled with some of the best young boxing prospects.

 

Opening the card will be middleweight Meiirim “Sultan” Nursultanov of Merki, Kazakhstan, making his pro debut. Nursultanov, now residing in Oxnard, COMME, is managed by Egis Klimas, and recently signed by Main Events. He will be taking on Henry Beckford (4-5, 1 KO) of Hempstead, New York, dans un combat de six rondes.

Bakhram Murtazaliev (6-0, 4 KO) de Grozny, Russia and close friend of Kovalev is coming off a second round knockout over Magomedkamil Musaev. Kovalev vs. Quartier “Pound For Pound”, a 12-round mega-fight for the WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight title at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, is presented by Main Events, Roc Nation Sports, Krusher Promotions and Andre Ward Promotions and is sponsored by the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, Corona Extra, Monster Products, JetLux and Zappos. The championship event will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View® beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT. Tickets are available on axs.com and the T-Mobile Arena box office.

The show is promoted by King;s Promotions.

“We are both from Philly. People look forward to seeing these matchups and especially this early in our careers, but I am the one that will have my hands raised.”
Ouais, who has had a couple fights and wins on national television, so Gonzales knows a win will put him on the map in the junior welterweight division.
“He is known in Philly and he had a big win over (previously undefeated” O'Shaquie Foster. I will show that I am on that level and this will start getting me higher profile fights.”

Here is what Garcia had to say when looking back at some moments from his career so far:
Q: What do you consider to be the best performance of your career?
Danny Garcia: The best performance of my career, Je crois, was against Lucas Matthysse. I was the unified world champion, I was a 3-to-1 underdog, he was knocking everybody out. I don’t think one person in the world thought I’d win that fight, but I knew deep in my heart I was the better fighter.
Q: What’s your favorite punch in the ring?
DG: My favorite punch is actually my right hand, but for some reason the left hook knocks everybody out. So I don’t know, une. Whatever punch lands, I try to use all my punches and different weapons in different angles. I try to use each hand as the set-up punch for the next punch. So I don’t really have a favorite punch. A lot of people think it’s my left hook, I like the right hand better, but the left hook just knocks everybody out.
Q: Which opponent you fought hit you the hardest?
DG: The two strongest opponents I’ve fought with the best punching power were Kendall Holt and Lucas Matthysse. They kind of had the same kind of power. It was like a thumping shot, and when they hit you, you felt like “Ooh, this man can punch.”
Q: Who was the hardest opponent for you to hit in your career?
DG: The hardest opponent I had to hit was probably Lamont Peterson. He was moving a lot, he wasn’t trying to engage with me at all, was trying to use the ring a lot with lateral movement. He came with a good game plan.
Q: Who was the fastest opponent you’ve faced?
DG: Fastest fighter, hands down, Amir Khan. He is the fastest fighter I’ve ever fought.
Q: What was the best atmosphere you’ve ever fought in?
DG: Barclays Center is No. 1. I’d probably say the Zab Judah fight. We hold the gate (record), the most fans to go to Barclays for a boxing event. It was like a concert.
Q: When was the maddest your dad ever got at you during a fight?
DG: My dad is always mad. He’s happy sometimes, but when it’s fight time, he’s always mad. That’s all I can say.
Q: Are there any fighters you watched growing up who you style yourself after? Or are there any fighters out there who maybe remind you of yourself?
DG: I take a lot from different fighters. (Felix) Trinidad, I loved his left hook. Prince Naseem Hamed, I loved how he wore the animal print, and then I did that. Roy Jones Jr., Bernard Hopkins, those are fighters I looked up to. (Julio Cesar) Chavez, aller au corps, that left hook to the body. I take a lot of things from other fighters’ arsenals and put it into my style. But I never try to be any other fighter. I try to be myself.
Q: When you meet him next March, where will Keith Thurman rank among the opponents you’ve faced in your career?

PHILADELPHIA (Novembre 9, 2016) – Spike TV’s upcoming broadcast of the Premier Champions de boxe series on Samedi, Novembre 12 à 9:00pm ET/PT will have some extra knockout power. Philadelphie, Pennsylvanie (Novembre 9, 2016) – Undefeated super bantamweight Adam Lopez is excited to make his Philadelphia debut when he takes on Carlos Valcarcel ce vendredi nuit au 2300 Arena à Philadelphie.

“My camp was pretty good, and just getting down to the nitty gritty. I was sparring two days a week and I am ready to go,” a déclaré Lopez.

Valcarcel has a record of 14-8-4 avec cinq coups de grâce. Le 34 year-old native of Miami, Florida has wins over Jovanny Soto (15-2-1), Rodolfo Garay (14-2-1) & Leivi Brea (16-4-3).

Valcarcel is coming off a 6th round stoppage defeat to undefeated Erick DeLeon on 25 juin à Dallas, Texas.
“I know he is a 2004 Olympien. He is a veteran and a crafty fighter. He has a surviving style in the sense he is defensive and crafty. He is not a knockout puncher but you have to respect anyone who puts on those gloves,” said Lopez of his opponent.
Lopez is ready to show his skills in front of the knowledgeable Philadelphia fight crowd.
“I always know that Philly is a great fight town. I actually want to see the park here “The Fresh Prince” was bullied at,” Lopez said laughingly.

LAS VEGAS (Novembre. 9, 2016) – Sharif “Le lion” Bogere (29-1, 20 KO) est de retour en action après une victoire sans faute du TKO au cinquième tour contre Luis Florez en septembre 16e. Bogere devra faire face Hylon Williams (16-3-1, 3KO) dans une bataille légère de 10 rounds en décembre 2Dakota du Nord à Sam's Town Live dans l'événement principal. Une victoire pour Bogere portera sa séquence de victoires à sept et le rapprochera d'une opportunité de titre.

Ce combat me rapprochera encore plus d'un combat pour le titre, et c'est pour ça que je suis là,”

D'autres actions verront l'ancien challenger du titre Ashley “Trésor” Théophane (39-7, 12 KO) en cas de co-principal, qui a clairement indiqué qu'il est ici pour la rédemption.
