Recently entering the WBA’s Top 10 Rankings, invicte Abraham Nova (14-0, 10 KOs) will make his highly anticipated 2019 debut under the Murphys Boxing banner. Nova’s opponent, Argentinian prospect Merio Ezekiel Syyal Lozano (18-2-1, 9 KOs), will be the 12th fighter in the past two years to try and take the “Els” from the current NABA Super Featherweight Champion.


Entering the ring for the second time this year, Jr. NABF Super Featherweight Champion,Guillem Foster III (9-0, 6 KOs) s'enfrontarà a Ramon Esperanza (22-15-1, 11 KOs) en un 8 assalts. Foster’s rare ability to combine both power and speed has led him to become one of New England’s most talked about prospects.


In an 8 round middleweight bout, power punching prospect Carlos Góngora (15-0, 12 KOs) will take on Argentina’s Damien Ezequiel Bonelli (23-6, 20 KOs). Gongora, a former Olympian from Ecuador, va guanyar el WBC South American Middleweight Title in February after defeating Jesus Aviles.

Representing the Boston area, James Perella (2-0, 2 KOs) will look for his third consecutive knockout in a 4 round welterweight bout against an opponent to be named.


Ray Jay Bermudez (6-0, 4 KOs) who hails from nearby Albany, New York will make a quick return to the ring after a KO victory last month when he takes on an opponent to be named in a 6 round welterweight contest.


Rounding out the card will be two of Springfield’s own – power punching welterweightAnthony Velazquez (5-0, 5 KOs), who will take on an opponent to be named, i el pes welter DJ Whitley (4-1-1), who will take on the always dangerous Bryan Goldsby(5-10) in separate 4 round contests.

Other bare-knuckles fights on the Apr. 5º card include dangerous Las Vegas light heavyweight Joey Angelo vs. Joseph Guillen, of Wyoming; Atlanta cruiserweight Robert “Real Business” Marró, Jr. vs. Lorenzo “El Juggernaut” Caça, de Jacksonville, Florida; Michigan bantamweight Brian “Stone Handz” Jackson vs. Dominican John Michael “JoMi” Escoboa, who fights out of Coconut Creek, Florida; Georgia flyweight and three-time U.S. Army boxing champion, Albert “Speedy” Martínez, vs. Virgin Island native Kory “Ballistic” Vialet, now living in Texas; and Canadian featherweight Desmond Johnsonvs. International Muay Thai champion Robert “Billy Bad Ass” Fletcher, of Park City, Minnesota. The card also features a fight of MMA heavyweights, Fort Lauderdale’s (Florida) Jermayne “Redman” Barnes against Detroit’s Lamar “The Abomination” Cannady-Foster.

Two-Division World Champion Makes Whirlwind Trip that Featured Invitation to Participate in Dubai Fitness Challenge,
Meeting Khabib Nurmagomedov & més
LAS VEGAS (Novembre 12, 2018) – Two-division boxing champion Badou Jack continued to show that he is truly a champion of the entire world as he made an exciting trip to Dubai that included an invitation to participate in the Dubai Fitness Challenge, a meeting with UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov and much more.
With an invitation from Dubai Tourism, Jack participated in the initiative that encourages UAE nationals, residents and visitors to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, per 30 consecutive days. A public event gave Jack a chance to further spread his positive messages.
“It was such an honor to be invited to this event that was part of an unforgettable trip,” va dir Jack. “I’m very thankful to the city of Dubai for letting me talk to people about the importance of staying active. It’s important for me to be able to make an impact all over the world and this was a great opportunity.”
In addition to that invitation, Jack visited with UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov, fresh off his victory over Conor McGregor last month. The two world champions, who both practice the Muslim faith, met for the first time and discussed a variety of topics, while also touring a local boxing/MMA gym and posing with Jack’s championship belts.
“It was an awesome experience to get to talk with another champion and competitor like Khabib,” va dir Jack. “I’m a big fan of what he’s able to do in the ring and as a fellow ambassador for the Muslim faith. It was really a fun time talking to him while we were both in Dubai.”

I have a lot of goals and dreams in the sport of boxing, but also outside of it. Making these kinds of connections is going to aid me long past my boxing career.”

SANT PETERSBURG, Rússia (Setembre 19, 2018) – Contrary to some media reports, la 22,603 fans at last weekend’s UFC Fight Night 136 in Moscow did not set a Russian MMA live attendance record.
M-1 Global still holds the record for the highest live attendance of an MMA event in Russia, quan 23,255 fans attended M-1 Desafiament 49: Battle in the Mountains de juny 7, 2014 a Ingúixia, which is officially registered in the Russian Book of Records.
Last weekend’s UFC debut event in Russia UFC Fight Night 136 is the second-most fans to attend a Russian MMA event.
Living legend Fedor Emelianenko‘s return from retirement on November 20, 2011 a M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Monson drew 22,000 ventiladors, dropped to third place on the all-time Russian MMA live attendance list.

SANT PETERSBURG, Rússia (Setembre 5, 2018) – Fighting in the UFC is a dream come true for undefeated M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Artem Frolov (11-0-0, M-1: 8-0-0), who will make his UFC debut September 15, fighting on the UFC Moscow card at Olympic Stadium in Moscow.

 

 

 

Frolov recently agreed on short notice (2 setmanalment) to replace injured Omari Ashkedov against veteran American fighter C.B. “El Doberman” Dollaway (17-8-0).

 

 

 

Fighting at home in Russia, the 26-year-old Frolov won his M-1 Challenge title belt last October, when he took a unanimous decision from Caio Magalhaes en M-1 Desafiament 84. This past June at M-1 Desafiament 93, Frolov made his first and lone title defense to date against Joe Riggs, who suffered a knee injury that led to a doctor’s stoppage in the second round.

How long have you working on a deal to sign with UFC?

 

 

 

DE: “My manager has been working on signing me with the UFC for a while, but until the last few days, we had no solid agreement. A few days ago, they finally offered me a contract and asked to step in to replace an injured fighter at UFC Moscow.

 

 

 

“I thought it over and decided it was a great opportunity to join the UFC, which I did not want to miss. I would not say this contract was a surprise for me, people have been working on it, so I was ready.”

 

How does it feel to sign with UFC?

 

 

 

DE: “I’m excited to sign with the best promotion in the world, but I know that my debut fight won’t be easy, I’m stepping in on a short notice just two weeks before the show. I was going to defend my belt in M-1 Global in a couple months, so now I need to cut weight fast. The most difficult thing is not just to cut weight, but afterwards to recover well. In the UFC, IVs are banned and you have to be extremely careful with supplements you take to recover.”

What shape are you in for this fight considering only two-week’s notice?

 

 

 

DE: “I was preparing for a fight in M-1 Global, so I’m in good shape. We are going to work on my speed now but first, I have to cut weight. Once in my career I took a fight on a short notice, I had three weeks to prepare and I won that fight by TKO in the second round.”

DE: “I’ve seen a couple of C.B. Dollaway’s UFC fights, but I have never considered him as my opponent, so did not pay too much attention to him. There are many good fighters in the UFC, so I can’t say that I know a lot about my opponent. We don’t have not enough time to concentrate on him, so we’ll concentrate on me.”

 

When do you feel you can challenge the top UFC fighters in your weight class?

 

 

 

DE: “I’m not going to demand huge fights with the top opponents in the UFC. I’ll take my time and be ready to fight any opponent they’ll give me. I need time to get used to new conditions, tune up my preparation, and put in order the whole system and then I will be ready for any challenges.

 

 

 

“Everything is in our hands; nothing is impossible. If someone wants something badly, sets a goal and works hard to achieve it, he or she will succeed. I’m just a regular guy who had a dream to fight in the UFC and I made it. Dream big, set goals and achieve them!”

SANT PETERSBURG, Rússia (Setembre 4, 2018) — Campió de pes mitjà invicte M-1 Challenge Artem Frolov will make his UFC debut, stepping in on short notice to replace injured Omari Ashkedov against battle-tested C.B. “El Doberman” Dollaway, Setembre 15 en el UFC Moscow card at Olympic Stadium in Moscow.

 

 

 

“I am very happy for Artem,” President de M-1 Global Vadim Finkelchtein dit, “but a little bit nervous because he accepted the fight on such a short notice, only two weeks before the fitht. I’m sure he will demonstrate his high level once again. I said it before that Artem is the second strongest middleweight in Russia, after Alexander Shlemenko, and he deserves this shot. El Frolov, de 26 anys (11-0-0, M-1: 8-0-0), fighting at home out of Russia, captured his M-1 Challenge title belt last October, when he won a unanimous decision against Caio Magalhaes at M-1 Challenge 84. This past June at M-1 Challenge 93, Frolov made his first title defense versus Joe Riggs, who suffered a knee injury that led to a doctor’s stoppage in the second round.

 

 

 

Un sòlid lluitador complet, Frolov has won 5 baralles per parada, along with four submission victories and two by decision.
