The fight will headline a stacked night of boxing at The Claridge Hotel.
The show is promoted by Rising Promotions and Greg Cohen Promotions in association with Devin Haney Promotions and Winner Take All Productions.
“This is our 10th show and we expect this to be the best turn out,” said Debbie LaManna, CEO of Rising Promotions. “With a stacked undercard, and my son getting to headline again, we can all expect a great night of boxing. I’m happy Thomas decided to stick with it, after more than 10 years and a lot of money spent, it would be foolish to stop now when he is right there. We are happy to be doing this show with Greg Cohen and we look forward to bigger and better things together in the future.”

Lamanna de Millville, New Jersey will be making the 1st defense of the WBC Silver Latino title that he won on 19 d'agost when he scored two knockdowns en-route to a ten round unanimous decision over George Sosa at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
La 25 year-old Lamanna is a six-year professional who has wins over veteran’s Ayi Bruce, Kendal Mena, Eduardo Flores, and Carlos Winston Velasquez.
This will be LaManna’s 7th bout at The Claridge and 16th in Atlantic City.

Seldon is eager to be back in the ring after much soul searching over the past two-plus years.
“I have been working a job and staying in the gym. I have been keeping sharp but I just needed to get my life in order, ” said Seldon. “We have been looking for the right fight. I was offered some good financial opportunities in Russia, but I want to do this the right way. I am not in this for the money.”
Seldon feels at age 27, the time is now to concentrate on in his ring career.
“I am not getting any younger, and when I got the call from Rising Promotions and they offered me the right fight, I jumped at it.”
When asked about the veteran Mitchell, Seldon really doesn’t know alot.
“I don’t know much. I saw a couple video snippets of him and I see a tough guys who comes forward. It should be a good fight. I trained very hard for this and I am ready.”
When asked what he sees in the next few years, Seldon, believes that with Rising Promotions looking to do stage multiple fight cards on the boardwalk property, he sees an active 2016.
“I am looking at two or three more fights this year. Rising Promotions said I could be on their cards going forward. I am just trying to stay busy. Jo sóc 27 years-old and it is time to go. The Beast Mode is turned on and I am excited to show a new Isiah Seldon. Before I was just a brawler but in the time off, I have developed my boxing skills and I am a much better fighter.”

Davis of nearby Mays Landing, New Jersey is not the typical fighter who has dreams of winning a world heavyweight title, but he has bigger plans to help mold the youth of the Jersey Shore area as being a role model.
To say Davis is an all-around athlete is an understatement.
The Buena High School all-time leading rusher in football, was a 48th round draft pick of the Florida Marlins and spent three years in their minor league system.
When getting the itch to play football again, Davis bagged baseball and began playing football at Hudson Valley College in upstate New York.
After a few years of figuring out his next move, Davis took up boxing.
a 6'3″i 250 lliura, Davis took up the sweet science at the age of 34.
After eight amateur fights (record of 5-3), Davis turned professional by fighting a four round draw with Willie Harvey on August 15, 2015.
Davis got into the win column with a 26 second knockout over Santario Holdbrooks on Desembre 5 at The Claridge.
“Ara, I am getting by with my natural athletic ability. I do not know all of the ins and outs of boxing, but I have toughness and have been learning on the job,” va dir Davis.
“There has been a lot of improvement since I have started”
In Morley, he is facing a durable guy, that has gone the distance in his first two outings.
“I just know he is shorter and heavier then me. He is from Philadelphia, so that alone, I know he is a tough guy.”
Davis is even more honest when it comes to his ceiling as a fighter.
“My goal is to fight as long as the sport wants me. I want to have fights that will build my resume and give me the credibility to become a trainer for all athletes. I would like to instill what I know and my experiences with baseball, football and now boxing and become an all-around trainer and role model. There are people needed in the community that should be mentoring kids coming up and I feel that I can be that guy around here.”
“I want to thank my supporters. I am humbled that they spend their hard earned money to come see fight, and I am so appreciative of that.”

Rainone has a record of 24-7-1 with with five knockouts has long been a fan favorite in the Empire state, and the fight with Chalmers will fulfill a venue that has been on the 36 year-old’s bucket list.
“I have fought in Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium, The Legendary Blue Horizon and Las Vegas. I have been wanting to fight in Atlantic City for a long time and Saturday it finally happens,” said Rainone.
What makes Rainone’s career even more fascinating is that he works a full-time job overnight working for Hilton Hotels in the accounting the department.
That makes for long days, working until the early morning, getting just a few hours of sleep and then going to the gym before his overnight shift.
“I have not had a day off in seven weeks, but I will be ready to go en dissabte nit. I have had pretty good training and sparring. Now I am just maintaining my weight “
In Chalmers, he is facing a veteran who has a record of 14-12-1 amb vuit forats cecs. Chalmers has knocked off three undefeated fighters, but Rainone is confident that his skills and preparation will be enough to get his hand raised.
“I have seen him once in person. He defeated an undefeated guy and he was very aggressive that night. I have seen other fight’s where he sits back and is a counter puncher. I prepare for anything.”

“Without a fan base, you don’t get fights. I will have 100 or so fans down in Atlantic City. I owe everything to them.”
Rainone believes his popularity is due large in part to him being just an “everyday guy” and his fans can relate to him.
“I always put on a good fight, but I am relate able. After the fights, I hang out with everybody. I am humble and I show the fans how much I appreciate him.”

Rainone came up just short in that fight, but Rainone wanted to test himself against the former world champion.
“That fight was a tall order. Ishe is the bigger man and a former world champion. I am not a junior middleweight. I tried very hard and I knew if I had won that fought, I would have been ranked in the top-ten.”
Rainone is only planning to fight another couple of years and he still has the goals of every fighter, but he is taking his career fight by fight.
“The goal is one fight at a time. I am excited to fight in Atlantic City. I want to fight at Barclays Center and again in Madison Square Square Garden as well fighting for a title back in Atlantic City.”
“I have done this the hard way throughout my career. I do not know who has done it the way I have. I have done this on my own without any alliance or any promoter and I am very proud what I have accomplished and I still have more to do.”

Las Vegas (Desembre 18) – La “força” estava amb l'estrella cubana i recentment coronada campiona del món de pes lleuger Rances Barthelemy (24-0, 13 KOs) ja que va guanyar una decisió unànime de 12 rondes sobre el zurdo rus Denis Shafikov (36-2-1, 19 KOs) en el cap de cartell de la final Lliga de Campions de Boxa (PBC) per Spike carta de lluita de 2015. La retransmissió de quatre baralles, que va comptar amb el suport de baralles no televisades amb algunes de les promocions de Mayweather’ estrelles en ascens, va tenir lloc al Pearl at Palms Casino Resort de Las Vegas.
Sortint d'una gira mundial de luxe, Floyd Mayweather va tornar als Estats Units i es va asseure al costat del ring com a promotor de les baralles d'aquesta nit. El recentment retirat campió del món de cinc divisions, que també va saber avui que va ser seleccionat com aSports Illustrated Boxejador de l'Any, va ser animat i compromès a través de la campana final de la vetllada.
L'esdeveniment principal, que va començar com una batalla de peu a peu, va acabar a favor de Barthelemy mentre va escombrar el darrer quart del combat. La sang va començar a empitjorar amb furia i l'àrbitre Vic Drakulich va trucar al metge del ring per inspeccionar el tall.. Quan es va reprendre la lluita, Barthelemy va atacar l'ull del rus i mai va deixar de banda durant la resta de la lluita. Va aprofitar el tall i el va combinar amb la seva alçada i avantatge d'abast que va portar a una recepta per a l'èxit, ja que ara és campió del món de dues divisions.. Els jutges van veure el combat 119-109 i 116-112 dues vegades.
“Hi va haver moments en què vaig quedar atrapat en el meu estil de lluita. Em va costar un minut adaptar-me a l'estil de Shafikov i intercanviar cops de puny amb ell,” Said Bartolomé. “Estic molt content amb el nombre de cops que vaig poder baixar.
“Em va impressionar molt l'estil guerrer de Shafiov. Mai es va rendir fins i tot després de fer-se mal amb cops de puny que estaven afectant la seva lluita. Això em va agafar molt per sorpresa i també que va poder durar tota la lluita. El fet que continués realment diu alguna cosa sobre ell com a lluitador.”
“No estic segur si vaig guanyar la lluita,” Said Shafikov. “Estic molt decebut i vull una represa.”
L'esdeveniment co-principal va veure un final estrany del que havia de ser un combat d'eliminació de pes creuer. Southpaw de DetroitIsiah Thomas (15-0, 6 KOs) estava guanyant la lluita als tres jutges’ targetes de puntuació fins a la tercera ronda quan el power-puncher rus Murat “Planxa” Gassiev (22-0, 16 KOs) va llançar accidentalment cops tardans a Thomas’ cap després de la campana. “Li trec el barret,” va dir Pearson. “Els seus cops de puny eren nítids i durs. Simplement no vaig poder fer res de manera constant. Vaig pensar que estava més a prop que els jutges’ targetes de puntuació i definitivament vull una represa el més aviat possible.”

A la primera baralla de la nit, una de les estrelles en ascens ràpid de la boxa, Gervonta “L'únic” Davis (14-0, 13 KOs) de Baltimore va posar en joc el seu rècord invicte contra el de Mèxic Luis Sánchez (17-5-1, 5 KOs) en un enfrontament lleuger.

WESTBURY, N.Y. (Març 9, 2015) – El invicte pes mitjà Antoine Douglas(16-0-1, 10 KOs) és un de més ràpid creixement prospectes de la boxa. Com diries la teva carrera va?
“La meva carrera va molt bé fins ara. Estic molt satisfet amb el ritme de la meva carrera. Estic just on volem estar i en posició per a un gran any.”

Cap dels dos ha estat enderrocat com a professional. Espera que això canviï en Març 13?
“Realment no espero res d'entrar en una baralla. Només vull posar en un gran espectacle i posar en una gran baralla. Donar-ho tot.”

Vostè ha enfrontat l'oposició més dura com professional. Com et mantens enfocat i no mira més enllà d'un oponent?
“Aquest és l'esport de la boxa i un cop pot canviar qualsevol baralla. Qualsevol lluitador té la capacitat de fer mal a mi, així que no pas per alt a ningú. Lamanna està invicte. Mai ha perdut, així que no puc veure més enllà del que. Qualsevol cosa pot passar en aquest país.”

Què sap vostè de Lamanna i quin tipus de baralla que esperes?
“Jo sé que ell és alt i té un llarg abast. Jo realment no sabia què esperar. Jo sé que ell tendeix a tancar a tractar de mantenir-se en una posició defensiva. He de prendre avantatge que a l'anar a l'ofensiva.”

Després del que has superat com a jove, es considera vostè un supervivent? Va fer boxa estalviar?
“Jo no em considero només un supervivent. Jo em considero un lluitador. Jo tenia un munt de lluitar per a la meva joventut. Boxa em va ajudar a superar els meus problemes. Es em va donar la instrucció i la disciplina. Al voltant de l'edat de 14 Em vaig prendre el control de la meva vida i em vaig convertir en un home. Em sentia com que havia de tractar a mi mateix com un home.

“Quan jo estava en una llar d'acollida a 14, meus dos guardians es van separar i jo estava en una posició en què havia de prendre la decisió d'escollir el camí per baixar. Jo no estaria en la posició que estic en l'actualitat si no vaig fer la decisió que vaig prendre. No hi havia gent al meu voltant que em assenyali en la direcció correcta, Jo estava en el meu compte. Si hi havia gent que estava recolzat tant a mi, Jo no m'ho esperava. Jo era a la posició que estava prenent la decisió únicament per mi mateix.”

Aconseguir seriós aquí – la seva mare estava en i fora de la seva vida creixent. El que tan lleial a la manté després de tot el que has passat?
“Entenc que el fet que tot el món passa a través de les coses en la seva vida. És fàcil de dir el que han de fer. Es necessita molt per posar a un costat el seu orgull per ser considerat del que la gent està passant. Massa persones es van col·locar primer sobre els altres. Vaig donar un pas enrere i em vaig adonar que tot passa per una raó i mira com em va resultar avui. La meva mare i jo tenim una gran relació ara perquè jo era la comprensió de la seva situació i no prendre res del que va fer intencionadament o pensen que va ser dirigida cap a mi.”

Què va aprendre del seu últim ShoBox lluita contra Soro)?. ¿Vostè ho veu com una cosa positiva o negatiu?
“Veig la baralla amb Soro com una cosa positiva. En aquesta baralla em vaig posar en pes, la més petita que he estat en un temps. Jo estava en 155 en lloc del meu pes habitual de 160. Desfer-se de les seves quilos realment va tenir un gran impacte en la baralla i em vaig adonar que sóc un pes mitjà i em sento còmode en 160.”

Que la lluita Soro va ser cridat un empat majoritari — era que una decepció per a vostè? Com es va assabentar que?
“Va ser una gran decepció per a mi aconseguir un empat, però ara sabem que no fos qualsevol menor que 160. Això és el més important que hem après en la baralla. No hi ha tal cosa com ser massa disciplinat. Les persones van notar el prima que estava per aquesta baralla, però en ser un lluitador disciplinat jo estava decidit a fer el pes. Una gran quantitat d'oponents no hagués pres aquesta baralla, però va ser una oportunitat que jo volia aprofitar. Vaig pensar que era una bona decisió en el moment, però vaig aprendre una valuosa lliçó.”

Vostè va cridar la dent d'un noi en la seva primera baralla ShoBox (Jan. 17, 2014, front Marquis Davis) i la teva mare es va robar el xou en la seva última aparició. Què tens al magatzem per als espectadors en Març 13?
“Vull dir, Estic planejant una gran baralla. Això és tot el que puc garantir. Jo no sóc un supersticions [Divendres La 13a]. Jo només puc garantir que serà una gran baralla.”

¿Quina és la seva major fortalesa? Està buscant el nocaut o vostè creu que pot anar 10 rondes i aconseguir la victòria d'aquesta manera?
“Crec que puc colpejar per 10 rondes, però que tot depèn de l'oponent. Alguns nois són prou forts que pot anar el ple 10 rondes. Vaig i tracte d'infligir el major suma dels danys causats per la campana d'obertura.

“El meu major fortalesa és la meva voluntat i determinació. Mai hi ha un moment on vull renunciar. Fins i tot si em lesiono en el ring, No cauré en el lluitador. Aquests són els pensaments que passen pel meu cap.”

Jerry Odom és també en aquesta targeta i que tots dos són de la zona de Washington DC. Vostè ha declarat que 2 són com companys de quart. Què significa tenir-ho en la targeta amb vostè?
“Significa molt per a mi. Venim des dels seus humils començaments similars i per a nosaltres estar a la mateixa targeta és històric per a nosaltres. Tots dos porten el mateix objectiu comú i tenim molt que estem lluitant per. Ser capaç de fer això en un escenari tan gran per SHOWTIME i provar tots els detractors equivocades significa tot per a nosaltres. Això fa que sigui molt més la pena i satisfactori per a nosaltres, especialment si els dos ens vam aconseguir la victòria.”

La seva predicció?
“La meva predicció és una victòria. He entrenat i treballat molt dur per a això i estic llest per muntar un espectacle.”
