UPCOMING PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS EVENTS CANCELLED

Due to the growing concerns over COVID-19, Premier Boxing Champions scheduled events for March and April have been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date. At this time there’s no information regarding future shows. “The health and safety of the boxers, fans and those working the events are of utmost importance to us,” a déclaré Tom Brown, President of TGB Promotions and lead promoter for the cancelled shows. “We are all disappointed and as we get more information we will address future events.”

Ticket Refund Information All ticket orders will be refunded from your original point of purchase. If you have purchased online through Ticketmaster, all orders will be refunded automatically. Orders purchased with a credit card will be refunded to the credit card used for purchase. For third party purchases, please reach out to your original point of purchase for information regarding your credit. LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Novembre 8, 2018) – Pour des raisons impliquant des problèmes médicaux, Final Fight Championship a annoncé que “FFC 34” le 9 novembre a été officiellement annulé.

 

 

 

Nick Sadeghi, MD d'Athlete Advantage Medical à Las Vegas, Nevada, a publié la déclaration suivante au Final Fight Championship.

 

La Commission des sports de l'État du Nevada exige qu'une série d'examens médicaux soient effectués par un combattant professionnel afin de déterminer l'état de santé d'un combattant., le résultat de ces examens déterminant si le combattant sera autorisé à concourir ou non. Le bien-être physique du combattant est le plus préoccupant. Il a été déterminé par des médecins indépendants effectuant les examens pour la FFC ainsi que par la Commission sportive de l'État du Nevada que plusieurs combattants prévus pour la carte de combat du 9 novembre ne seraient pas en mesure de concourir en raison de résultats anormaux d'ARM qui ont identifié de petits anévrismes dans le cerveau.. Pour des raisons évidentes, ces combattants ne pourraient pas être autorisés à concourir sans un bilan médical approprié. Cela comprend la consultation d'un neurochirurgien et d'un radiologue interventionnel. Certains combattants peuvent être effacés après cela, mais certains peuvent avoir besoin d'une intervention chirurgicale pour corriger l'anévrisme avant de pouvoir continuer à se battre à l'avenir.

 

 

 

PDG / Président de la FFC, Orsat Zovko, a publié sa propre déclaration concernant l'annulation malheureuse.

 

 

 

“Nous sommes déçus de faire cette annonce, mais à si court préavis, il était impossible d'avancer car quatre de nos six combats ont été arrêtés par la commission et le personnel médical, y compris notre Main Event et Co-Event,” dit Zovko.

 

 

 

“Nous devons suivre les règles et directives strictes de la Nevada Athletic Commission, et nous respectons les décisions prises par la communauté médicale, parce que c'est dans le meilleur intérêt des combattants, et protéger leur santé est le but ultime.”

CES AND NEF FORCED TO CANCEL CO-PROMOTIONAL EVENT

Lewiston, Maine (Octobre 3, 2016) – The CES and NEF co-promotion scheduled for Novembre 4 in Lewiston is no more. Executives from both companies announced today that the mixed-martial-arts event had been canceled due to matchmaking issues.

 

With several fighters pulling off the AXS TV portion of the card, and others turning down fights offered by matchmakers, and with the 30-day deadline to submit the fight card to the state commission for approval looming, the two companies were left with no choice but to call the event off.

 

“We are disappointed that this event didn’t materialize as planned,” said CES Vice President and Director of Legal Affairs Jimmy Burchfield, Jr. “But we are optimistic that we can make it happen in 2017.”

 

Details will follow for CES 39.

 

“It’s unfortunate, but we had no other option,” said NEF promoter Nick DiSalvo. “When one door closes, another opens.”

 

The door that has opened is Samedi, Novembre 19 au Androscoggin Bank Colisee. NEF will present “NEF 26,” and it will feature the promotion’s fighters who had already been scheduled to compete on Novembre 4 plus many others. Les portes ouvriront à 6 h with first fight at 7 h. NEF chose to push the event date back two weeks in order to give new fighters added to the card more time to prepare.

 

“Once we made the mutual decision to cancel the event,” said NEF matchmaker Matt Peterson, “I got on the phone and immediately started making calls. Within hours we had already assembled a spectacular card that we’ll be sharing with fans this week. No one will be disappointed when they make the trek to the Colisee on November 19e. We have an explosive event planned.”

 

For those who have already purchased tickets for Novembre 4 through the Colisee box office, they will have the option of either a full refund or using their ticket for Novembre 19. Fans will have until this Friday, Octobre 7 à 4 pm EDT to call the box office at 207-783-2009 x 525 to request a full refund. The box office cannot refund tickets purchased from fighters. Any fan who purchased a ticket from a fighter and would like a refund will have to return their ticket to the fighter for the refund. Fans who choose to keep their tickets for Novembre 19do not have to do anything. All tickets printed with the “Novembre 4” date will be honored at the door on Novembre 19.

DIBELLA ENTERTAINMENT STATEMENT REGARDING CUELLAR VS. MARES

New York, New York (6/17/16) - Regrettably, due to a medical issue that renders former three-division world champion Abner Mares presently unable to fight in New York State, the Cuellar vs. Mares fight has been cancelled and will be replaced on the SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING on CBS, Présenté par Premier Champions de boxe, telecast next Samedi, Juin 25. Abner’s condition is in no way life-threatening, nor was it revealed in a blood or urine test; there was no use of any drugs, including PEDs or other banned substances.

 

In honoring Abner’s right to medical confidentiality, no further information will be released on this situation unless he chooses.

“KNOCKOUT NIGHT AT THE D” FIGHT CARD FOR MARCH 12 CANCELLED

LAS VEGAS – “Knockout Night at the D,” the boxing fight card to feature headliners Zab Judah vs. Josh Torres at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC), has been cancelled for Samedi, Mars 12.
