COLORADO SPRINGS, Tour. (Février 27, 2023) — Rahim Gonzales (Las Vegas, Nev.) a décroché sa troisième médaille d'or internationale consécutive hier lors de la dernière journée de boxe au 2023 Tournoi étrange à Sofia, Bulgarie.

Gonzales a pris les cinq cartes des juges contre Hambardzum Hakobyan d'Arménie lors du combat de championnat des poids lourds légers d'aujourd'hui. Les cinq juges ont marqué le combat 30-27 pour donner à Gonzales Team USA la seule médaille d'or du tournoi et la sixième médaille au total.

**LAS VEGAS (Février 2, 2022)** – Undefeated Toronto light heavyweight prospect Kareem Hackett (8-0, 7 KOs) a signé un contrat de gestion avec 3 Gestion des points (3PM), qui gère également 43-0 Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez, l'ancien champion du monde des super-moyens, and today the top-ranked World light heavyweight contender.

I try to bring different things I’ve learned from him into our sparring, and that’s been great for me.

“I work with Julian; he is here in Los Angeles. Because of the pandemic, it’s been complicated for me, so I haven’t been going home a (Toronto) is much as I used to or want to. We’re super spoiled at Brickhouse. I grew up in a classic gym, and I was used to its griminess. I can’t believe how nice Brickhouse is.”

“Kareem is a very skillful fighter that has been under the radar too long,” Chua remarked. “He’s one of the best strategists in the ring I’ve ever seen. We started his professional career together and we’ve built a brother bond. He knows he can trust my eyes in the corner like I can trust his skills in the ring.”

Hackett, 31, is a southpaw from Toronto, who has learned from sparring sessions with world boxing champions such as “Zurdo,” Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin, Sergio Mora, Mathew Macklin, David Benavidez, and Dmitry Bivol. Hackett’s 3PM stablemate, "Gaucher" Ramirez, is the mandatory challenger for Bivol, the reigning World Boxing Association (WBA) World Heavyweight Champion Lumière.

“What I’ve learned most from sparring all these world champions is, unlike a lot of guys who believe they need to knockout their opponent in one round,” Hackett noted, “it’s not a one-round fight and could go as long as 12 tours. I’ve learned long-term strategy. Boxing is more like a marathon-like mindset than a sprint.”

In his most recent action, Hackett stopped 2-0 Giovanni Lizarraga Garate midway through the opening round last April in Mexico.
Self-described as using a strategic violence style, Hackett is a smart, elusive, accurate, and opportunistic. Sounds as if he’s describing “Zurdo.” “We do have the same coach,” Hackett added.

Hackett’s goals in 2022 includes knocking out each opponent he faces, as well as capturing U.S. or Canadian regional titles. His first fight of 2022 is tentatively set for February 17 in Texas against an opponent to be determined.

“Kareem is a smart, intelligent fighter with a gifted physic to be a force in this game,” Ramirez concluded.

LAS VEGAS (Août 23, 2021) – Invaincu **Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez** (42-0, 28 KOs) feels he’ll get his first World light heavyweight title shot because he believes in himself, his promoter Golden Boy Promotions, and his Mexican heritage.

To All Boxing Fans,

After reviewing the new CDC government health and mask mandate guidelines for events taking place inside, we have decided to postpone the Box Fan Expo to 2022.

The Box Fan Expo was started to give fans, combattants, and the Boxing industry a place to meet each other and celebrate the sport we love and work in. We will reschedule this event when we can safely hold this. The health and safety of all our attendees is our #1 priority.

We are committed to presenting our Boxing Fan Experience with a world-class event and having the champions, current top fighters and hall of fame boxers that you know and love be there to meet and greet their fans.

While we are extremely disappointed with these turns of events, with Covid-19 cases on the rise and the new Delta variant, we felt it is the wisest decision for all of us involved to move this to 2022.

The Last Box Fan Expo that took place in 2019 was another huge success. LAS VEGAS (Janvier 14, 2021) — The first super middleweight world champion of Mexican decent, invaincu **Gilberto “Southpaw” Ramirez** (41-0, 27 KOs) is all in for a potential World Boxing Council (WBC) Interim light heavyweight World title fight against 2012 U.S.. Olympien **“Monsieur” Marcus Browne** (23-1, 16 KOs).

The WBC ordered Ramirez vs. Browne this past Monday because reigning WBC light heavyweight World champion **Artur Beterbiev** (15-0, 15 KOs) hasn’t defended his title since capturing it October 18, 2019, due to getting COVID-19 during training camp, as well as for other pandemic related restrictions. Beterbiev is also the reigning International Boxing Federation (IBF) light heavyweight World champion.

Ramirez is the No. 1 light heavyweight contender in the WBC ratings, while Browne is ranked No. 4. Team Zurdo and Team Browne have until February 5^e to work out a deal before it’ll go to purse bid. Martinez is promoted by his own company, Zurdo Promotions, while Browne is represented by PBC.

“This is an interesting opportunity and I’m ready to fight anyone in the light heavyweight division to leave my mark on the sport,” Ramirez said. “I know Marcus has been out of the ring for a while, but he’s a U.S. Olympian and still one of the best in the game. I know he’s wanted this fight for a while and hopefully we can make something happen.

Browne, 30, is a past WBA Interim light heavyweight World champion. He has beaten a pair of word champions, 22-1-3 **Badou Jack** (DEC12) et 25-7-1 **Gabriel Campillo** (25-7-2). Other notable opponents he has defeated include 21-0 **Radivoje Kalajdzic** (DEC8), 20-2 **Thomas Williams** (KO6), 28-0 **Sean Monaghan** (TKO2), et 18-1-1 **Lénine Castillo** (DEC10). Browne’s last fight was August 3, 2019, when he suffered his first loss as a professional to former world champion **Jean Pascal**(33-6-1) via an eight-round technical decision, after Browne suffered a severe cut over his left eye from an accidental head-butt.

“There are always challenges to making a fight become reality,” Ramirez concluded, “but me being both the fighter and sole promoter, I’m flexible on the common problems that takes to make a fight. I’m not sure how much time Marcus will need to be ready, but both time and location can be determined when the other preliminary items are agreed upon. If it goes to a purse bid, I’m ready for the process and, avec optimisme, this fight can happen for both of us.”

LAS VEGAS (Février 27, 2020) – Undefeated super lightweightKendo "Tremendo" Castaneda (17-0, 8 KOs) flew into Orlando from his native San Antonio this past Tuesday night on his first visit to Florida.

Last October in Reno, Nevada, Castaneda stoppedStan Martyniouk (20-3) au sixième tour, after which he was installed by the World Boxing Organization as its No. 15 rated super lightweight in the world.
