LeAnna Cruz, Asa Stevens and Javier Zamarron Remain Undefeated in Atlanta; Shamara Woods Shines in The Dominican Republic

NEW YORK (Kolovoz 22, 2023) – Four Split-T Management fighters remained undefeated over the weekend.
Friday night in Atlanta, LeAnna Cruz remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Maryguenn Vellinga in a flyweight bout.

Cruz landed 88 od 271 punches. Vellinga was 34 od 224.

Javier Zamarron remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous decision over Sabastian Santiago in a featherweight bout.

Split-T Management signs Two-Time National Golden Gloves Champion Abel Gonzalez

Winner of The 2021 National Golden Gloves Tournament Most Outstanding Fighter Award
Njujork (Siječanj 3, 2022) — Split-T Management has signed highly acclaimed amateur and two-time National Golden Gloves Champion Abel Gonzalez to a management contract. Gonzalez most recently won the 2021 National Golden Gloves in the ultra competitive 178 lb. Gonzalez, of Hialeah, Florida, will make his professional debut at super middleweight. He is trained by his father, Ameth, a Guantanamo, Cuba native and lists the Cuban greats Teofilo Stevenson and Felix Savon as some of his biggest influences in the sport. Gonzalez is a boxer-puncher possessing thudding power and an excellent ring IQ.

“I am very excited to sign with Split-T Management. This is the moment that I have been waiting for. Under Split-T, I feel that I will be able to reach all of my goals and become a World Champion,” Said Gonzalez.

“Abel is a very strong young man with a devastating right hand that he gets off quickly and an equally powerful left hook. We expect him to make a seamless transition to the pros and become a major force at 168 pounds and beyond,” said Brendan Segalas of Split-T Management.

Gonzalez, 24, compiled a total record of 65-8 and was a two-time National Golden Gloves Champion; four-time Florida Elite Golden Gloves Champion; three-time Florida PAL Champion and a 2013 Junior Golden Gloves Champion as an amateur. Gonzalez is ready to make his mark in the professional ranks with Split-T Management and his father/trainer firmly behind him.

Split-T Management signs Heavyweight Devon Young

NEW YORK (Srpanj 26, 2021) – Split-T Management has signed heavyweight Devon Young to a managerial contract.


The 22 year-old Young is from Aiken, Južna Karolina, and compiled an impressive 42-12 mark as an amateur.


“I think this is great. Dave McWater is one of the top managers in boxing, This will put me in a great position to get to my dreams, and that is to become world champion,” rekao je Young. “Split-T has many talented fighters, and I am grateful to join them. I expect to make my pro debut on September 4th in Columbia, Južna Karolina. I am a boxer-puncher that is more aggressive and I like to come forward. Young’s athletic prowess extends beyond the ring as he was a star football player on both sides of the ball who earned a scholarship to Georgia Military College as a Running Back and Defensive End.


Devon is trained by his uncle Terry Cade, who himself was a former professional boxer.

NEW YORK (Srpanj 28, 2020) – Nadmudreni natjecatelj u srednjoj kategoriji Christopher Pearson spreman je za proboj protiv bilo kojeg od vodećih imena na 160 ili 168 divizije.


Pearson iz Trotwooda, Ohio, upravlja Split-T Management, a nedavno se preselio u San Antonio, Teksas, ima rekord 17-2, i vozi niz pobjeda u tri borbe koji uključuje pobjedu nad bivšim osvajačem olimpijske brončane medalje i neporaženim Yamaguchi Falcaom.


Pearson, koji trenira u Los Angelesu pod vodstvom trenera svjetskog prvenstva Mannyja Roblesa, već započeo pripreme za svoj sljedeći zadatak.

“Prihvatio sam tu borbu nakon četiri tjedna. Ne nedostaje mi samopouzdanja, i znam što sam sposoban učiniti.


Nedavno je Pearson imenovao svoje ime zbog obračuna s Canelom Alvarezom, i vjeruje da Canelovi rukovoditelji nisu bili previše oduševljeni borbom s 29 godine Pearson.

“Znam da sam jedan od četiri ili pet momaka iz Golden Boy Promocija kojima je ponuđena ta borba. Od svih tih tipova, sigurno su me gledali kao visoko rizičnog, borba s niskom nagradom. Borba sa mnom je opasna. Oni me znaju, jer sam sparirao s njim, i zna za što sam sposobna.”

“Još jedna borba koju bih želio voditi je s Jaimeom Munguiaom. On je na 160 kilograma sada. Mogu ga nadmašiti. Ne vidim ništa posebno na njemu. Ako je za tu borbu potrebno pobijediti druge borce poput Davida Lemieuxa ili Taureana Johnsona, onda ih dovedi dalje. Trenutno sam spreman preuzeti bilo koga.”

Split-T Management’s Raquel Miller wins WBA Interim Super Welterweight Championship

NEW YORK (Studeni 26, 2019)–Saturday night in Quebec City, Split-T Management’s Raquel Miller captured the WBA Interim Super Welterweight world championship with a 10-round unanimous decision over Alma Ibarra.


Miller of San Francisco controlled the action and kept the previously undefeated Ibarra at bay and won by scores of 99-91 a 98-92 dvaput.


S pobjedom, the fighter known as “Pretty Beast” raises her perfect mark to 10-0.


Miller could now look towards bouts with WBA World champion Hanna Gabriels as well as Hannah Rankin and former super middleweight champion Maricela Cornejo.



“To je dobra borba. Alma was tough, and it was a good fight. I fought well, now I will look at the fight, and see what I could have done better. I was dominant as I won most of the rounds. I took this fight at the last minute, so I am happy with the fight and the result,” said Miller.


“I want to thank everyone who has and does support me. There is more to come. I just want to tell everyone that they can push for their dreams and don’t take no as an answer.”

Split-T Management’s Holmes, Miller and Dixon Get Big Wins on Saturday Night

NEW YORK (Svibanj 20, 2019) –Three cites, three wins for Split-T Management fighters this past Saturday night as Ardreal Holmes a Raquel Miller remained undefeated while Carlos Dixon scored a big knockout in his hometown.


Holmes went to 9-0 with a six-round unanimous decision over veteran Lanardo Tyner in Dearborn, Michigan.


The 24 year-old Holmes of Flint, Michigan was systematic in winning by shutout tallies on two cards at 60-54 a 58-56 to raise the former amateur star’s record to 9-0.


Miller moved a step closer to winning a world championship as she captured the NABF Middleweight title with a 7th round stoppage over Erin Toughill inHawaiian Gardens, Kalifornija.


Miller of San Francisco knocked Toughill down in the 1st round with a body shot, and then she dropped Toughill with a vicious combination that was punctuated by a nasty left hook in the 7th round that sent Toughill to the canvas. Toughill got up, but was in no condition to continue, a meč je zaustavljen na 1:01.

NEW YORK (Svibanj 3, 2019) –Middleweight contender Chris Pearson scored a major victory over previously undefeated Olympic Bronze Medal winner Yamaguchi Falcao in a 10-round bout at The Joint at The Hard Rock in Las Vegas.


The win netted Pearson the WBO Latino Middleweight title.


Pearson boxed very well as he befuddled Falcao, and consistently beat the former amateur star to the punch throughout the contest.


Pearson, who already held a win over Falcao in the World Series of Boxing, repeated the verdict of 2011 by using good head-speed that saw the judges scorecards read 97-93 a 96-94 dvaput.


The win will gain Pearson a high-ranking in the WBO, and improves the Trotwood, Ohio native’s record to 17-2.


This was the 3rd consecutive win for Pearson, who is managed by Split-T Management.


“My plan was to be patient and control the pace. I was able to capitalize on him being a bit slower then me,” rekao je Pearson. “This win gets me back to where I need to be.”


“I’m blessed with this victory,” continued Pearson. “Nobody knows the trials I’ve gone through. If I can be someone that inspires, then I’ll be happy. I’m going to rest for a couple days and then get right back to the gym.”

Ivan Golub, Normatov, Ceballo and Williams reign Victorious



NEW YORK (Travanj 12 2019)–This past Wednesday night at Sony Hall in the heart of Manhattan, four prized members of the Split-T Management stable had their hand raised in victory on a DiBella Entertainment Broadway Boxing card.

U glavnom turniru, velter kategorija Ivan Golub defended his WBC USNBC title with an easy ten-round unanimous decision over Manuel Alejandro Reyes.

Golub used good body work in the beginning of the fight that slowly set up hard right hands, and the Ukranian came home with the victory by scores of 100-90 dvaput, a 99-91 to raise his impressive mark to 16-1.

Junior srednjoj Hurshidbek Normatov won a six-round unanimous decision over Calvin Metcalf.

Normatov of Uzbekistan established his jab early, and dropped Metcalf with a right hook in the 3rd frame. Metcalf (9-2) was able to survive, but it was to no avail as Normatov won by scores of 60-53 on all cards and his his mark to 8-0.

Five-time New York Golden Gloves champion, Brian Ceballo was impressive in stopping Ricardo Garcia in the 2nd round of their welterweight contest.

Ceballo of New York City decked Garcia in round two with a perfect right hand to the chin. Garcia was able to get to his feet, but Ceballo was able to pummel Garcia with a combination, a meč je zaustavljen na 2:33.

Split-T Management Signs 21-Time National Amateur Champion Otha Jones III

NEW YORK (Siječanj 16, 2019) — Split-T Management is proud to announce the signing of 21-time National Amateur Champion, Otha Jones III to a managerial contract.

The 18 year-old Toledo native was among the top talents in the United States, as he compiled a staggering 283-13 amateur record, highlighted by representing Team USA in several international tournaments including winning a Gold Medal at the International Youth Continental Americas Tournament and Silver Medal at the Emil Jechev Memorial Tournament as well as winning several national tournaments, such as the winning gold medals in United States National Championships (Dvaput) and the World Championship Qualifier.

Jones, who was also a four-time State Wrestling Champion, was influenced to sign with Split-T Management because of what the company has done for his gym mates.

“After seeing the hard work and dedication and excellence that Split-T Management has shown to my teammates Charles Conwell and Isaiah Steen, I definitely could not think of signing with anyone else,” said Jones.  Split-T is definitely the best management team in boxing. I am honored to be a part of the team.”

Jones’ dad, also named Otha, shares the same sentiments as his son.

“Based upon the quality of boxers that Split-T Management has signed, and been successful at moving, it was just a natural progression that I would sign my son with them,” said the elder Otha.

Split-T Management feels that Jones will captivate the boxing world because of his fan friendly style that is reminiscent of fellow Ohio native, Aron Pryor, as he fights aggressively while throwing nonstop punches from all different angles with power.
