NOVICE CLASS FINALS RESULTS FROM LOWELL
LOWELL, Kütle. (Şubat 19, 2016) – Fourteen 2016 New England Tournament of Champions winners were crowned last night in the novice class of 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Team Central produced the most individual winners with seven, followed by Team Western with five, and Team Central had two.
The unofficial fight of the night was between Salem, MA welterweight Kenny Larson (Team Central) and his Dorchester, MA opponent Jarrod LoMax (Team Southern), in which Larson won a three-round decision, 3-2.
Portland, ME bantamweight Christian Morales (Team Northern) continued his performance run in the tournament, winning a three-round decision, 5-0, over hometown Lowell favorite Marquis Fowler (Team Central) Morales’ impressive showings in the tournament will lead him into an open division spot in next week’s New Englands.
In a Central N.E. (Büyük Lowell) heavyweight final rematch, due to a round-time issue, Methuen’s Jesus Flores (Canal Street Boxing) defeated Haverhill’s John Roche (Haverhill Şehir Boksu) by the same score as their original match in another thrilling, back-and-forth bout ending a in three-round decision (5-0). The crosstown rivalry between the two gyms and boxers led up to another compelling match with Flores qualifying for Çarşamba night’s open class semifinals of the New England Tournament of Champions.
The New England Tournament of Champions open class semifinals and finals will be held next Wednesday ve Perşembeevenings, sırasıyla, at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

Jeter Promotions signs undefeated Welterweight Steve Weimer

York, Pensilvanya (Şubat 17, 2016) – Jeter Promotions is pleased to announce the signing of undefeated Welterweight prospect Steve Weimer to an exclusive promotional contract.
Weimer of York, Pensilvanya. Bir kaydı var 9-0 with two knockouts and is looking to get back in the ring following a four-year hiatus.
Weimer did not leave the ring because of the usual boxing stereotypes, but he took some time off to get his college degree. Weimer graduated from York College with a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.

Tony Jeter is a Middleweight contender who twice cracked the world rankings and fought Chris Eubank Jr. for the WBA Interim Middleweight title. Jeter formed his promotional company and promoted 20 olaylar. Jeter is a licensed promoter in Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia and is waiting to receive a promoters license in Pennsylvania.
Weimer is expected to make his debut under the Jeter Promotions banner on Nisan 9at the Springfield ABC in Springfield, Virjinya.

LOWELL, Kütle. (Şubat 11, 2016) – Team Central had the edge in last night’s novice class semifinals of the New England Tournament of Champions, part of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Team Central had five individual winners, followed by Team South and Team West with three victories and Team North had two. The novice class finals of the N.E. Tournament of Champions will be held Perşembe, Şubat. 18 at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The Fight of the Night was the light heavyweight match of the novice class as Team South’s Henry Ventura (N. Dartmouth, MA) overcame two knockdowns to defeat Team North’s Tyler Jacques (St. Albans, VT) who was dropped once and also had a standing eight count, by way of a unanimous decision (5-0).
Three remaining Central New England (Büyük Lowell) open class final matches were also held last night. See all results below, as well as the remaining 2016 program.

LOWELL, Kütle. (Şubat 5, 2016) – Peter Welch’s Gym in South Boston dominated last night’s Central New England (Büyük Lowell) championship final round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, open and novice classes, tarihi Lowell Memorial Oditoryumu'nda.
Peter Welch’s Gym had seven winners last night: open – Hyde Park welterweight Jennifer Perella and Brookline light welterweight İbrahim Nova; novice – Dorchester lightweightJonathen DePina ve orta siklet Brian Lawrence, East Boston lightweight Claire Duffy light welterweight, Boston light welterweight Katie Gregory and Franklin heavyweight Jared Gately.
Lowell West End Gym and Grealish Boston had the second-most winners last evening with two apiece.

All CNE finals winners will advance to the New England Tournament of Champions, also held at Lowell Memorial Auditorium, later this month.

(Ocak 29, 2016) – For the second week in a row all 13 matches went the three-round distance in last night’s Central New England (Büyük Lowell) semifinals round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, featuring open and novice class action, tarihi Lowell Memorial Oditoryumu'nda.

LOWELL, Kütle. (Ocak 25, 2016) – Returning New England Golden Gloves welterweight champion Xavier Vega, Lawrence (MA), leads a host of talented open and novice class amateur boxers into this Thursday night’s (Ocak. 8) in the Central New England (Büyük Lowell) semifinals of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The 21-year-old Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing, faces Nashua (NH) meydan okuyucu Michael Fontanez in one of eight open class matches. There are also eight novice class matches scheduled.
Vega, kimde var 33-3 amatör kayıt, didn’t start boxing until he was 17 because he has only one kidney. A construction worker by day, Vega hopes to become a professional boxer and, değilse, a Lawrence police officer in order to give back to his community.

LOWELL, Kütle. (Ocak 23, 2016) – The Central New England (Büyük Lowell) quarterfinals round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship was held last night at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium with 13 highly competitive matches in the novice class.
Tüm 13 matches went the three-round distance for 39 rounds of action that the large crowed enjoyed from start to finish. The super heavyweight match between Dorchester’s 381-pound Ivens Derival and Haverhill’s 266-pound Kyle Davis was of special especially because of their respective sizes. Davis won by way of a three-round decision, 4-1, in a back-and-forth match that had fans standing throughout.
