NOVICE CLASS FINALS RESULTS FROM LOWELL
LOWELL, Масса. (Ақпан 19, 2016) – Fourteen 2016 New England Tournament of Champions winners were crowned last night in the novice class of 70ші annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Team Central produced the most individual winners with seven, followed by Team Western with five, and Team Central had two.
The unofficial fight of the night was between Salem, MA welterweight Кенни Ларсон (Team Central) and his Dorchester, MA opponent Jarrod LoMax (Team Southern), in which Larson won a three-round decision, 3-2.
Портленд, ME bantamweight Christian Morales (Team Northern) continued his performance run in the tournament, winning a three-round decision, 5-0, over hometown Lowell favorite Marquis Fowler (Team Central) Моралес’ impressive showings in the tournament will lead him into an open division spot in next week’s New Englands.
In a Central N.E. Jeter Promotions signs undefeated Welterweight Steve Weimer

York, PA (Ақпан 17, 2016) – Jeter Promotions is pleased to announce the signing of undefeated Welterweight prospect Steve Weimer to an exclusive promotional contract.

Tony Jeter is a Middleweight contender who twice cracked the world rankings and fought Chris Eubank Jr. for the WBA Interim Middleweight title. LOWELL, Масса. (Ақпан 11, 2016) – Team Central had the edge in last night’s novice class semifinals of the New England Tournament of Champions, part of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Team Central had five individual winners, followed by Team South and Team West with three victories and Team North had two. The novice class finals of the N.E. Tournament of Champions will be held Бейсенбі, Feb. 18 Лоуэлл мемориалды залы.
The Fight of the Night was the light heavyweight match of the novice class as Team South’s Henry Ventura (N. Dartmouth, MA) overcame two knockdowns to defeat Team North’s Tyler Jacques (Санкт-. LOWELL, Масса. (Ақпан 2, 2016) – Thirty-eight surviving amateur boxers will compete in 19 scheduled matches this Thursday night (Feb. 4) the Central New England (үлкен Lowell) final round, open and novice divisions, of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
All CNE finals winners will advance to the New England Tournament of Champions, also held at Lowell Memorial Auditorium, later this month.

Returning New England Golden Gloves Champion Xavier Vega in action this Thursday night at Central N.E. semifinals in Lowell

(Қаңтар 25, 2016) – Returning New England Golden Gloves welterweight champion Xavier Vega, Лоуренс (MA), leads a host of talented open and novice class amateur boxers into this Thursday night’s (Jan. 8) in the Central New England (үлкен Lowell) semifinals of the 70ші annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The 21-year-old Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing, faces Nashua (NH) үміткер Майкл Фонтанез in one of eight open class matches. There are also eight novice class matches scheduled.

LOWELL, Масса. (Қаңтар 23, 2016) – Орталық Жаңа Англия (үлкен Lowell) quarterfinals round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship was held last night at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium with 13 highly competitive matches in the novice class.
Барлық 13 matches went the three-round distance for 39 rounds of action that the large crowed enjoyed from start to finish. The super heavyweight match between Dorchester’s 381-pound Ivens Derival and Haverhill’s 266-pound Kyle Davis was of special especially because of their respective sizes. Davis won by way of a three-round decision, 4-1, in a back-and-forth match that had fans standing throughout.
