NOVICE CLASS FINALS RESULTS FROM LOWELL
LOWELL, Զանգված. (Փետրվար 19, 2016) – Fourteen 2016 New England Tournament of Champions winners were crowned last night in the novice class of 70րդ annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Team Central produced the most individual winners with seven, followed by Team Western with five, and Team Central had two.
The unofficial fight of the night was between Salem, MA welterweight Kenny Larson (Team Central) and his Dorchester, MA opponent Jarrod LoMax (Team Southern), in which Larson won a three-round decision, 3-2.
Պորտլենդ, ME bantamweight Christian Morales (Team Northern) continued his performance run in the tournament, winning a three-round decision, 5-0, over hometown Lowell favorite Marquis Fowler (Team Central) Morales’ impressive showings in the tournament will lead him into an open division spot in next week’s New Englands.
In a Central N.E. Jeter Promotions signs undefeated Welterweight Steve Weimer

LOWELL, Զանգված. (Փետրվար 11, 2016) – Team Central had the edge in last night’s novice class semifinals of the New England Tournament of Champions, part of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Team Central had five individual winners, followed by Team South and Team West with three victories and Team North had two. The novice class finals of the N.E. Tournament of Champions will be held Հինգշաբթի, Feb. 18 at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The Fight of the Night was the light heavyweight match of the novice class as Team South’s Henry Ventura (N. Dartmouth, MA) overcame two knockdowns to defeat Team North’s Tyler Jacques (St. Ալբանս, VT) who was dropped once and also had a standing eight count, միաձայն որոշման միջոցով (5-0).

Returning New England welterweight champion Xavier Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing in Lawrence (MA), էր 4-1 winner against Michael Fontenez, of Nashua, NH.

(Հունվար 25, 2016) – Returning New England Golden Gloves welterweight champion Xavier Vega, Հյուրատետր Lawrence (MA), leads a host of talented open and novice class amateur boxers into this Thursday night’s (Jan. 8) in the Central New England (ավելի մեծ է Lowell) semifinals of the 70րդ annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The 21-year-old Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing, faces Nashua (NH) մրցակիցը Michael Fontanez in one of eight open class matches. There are also eight novice class matches scheduled.

LOWELL, Զանգված. (Հունվար 23, 2016) – The Central New England (ավելի մեծ է Lowell) quarterfinals round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship was held last night at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium with 13 highly competitive matches in the novice class.
Բոլորը 13 matches went the three-round distance for 39 rounds of action that the large crowed enjoyed from start to finish. The super heavyweight match between Dorchester’s 381-pound Ivens Derival and Haverhill’s 266-pound Kyle Davis was of special especially because of their respective sizes. Davis won by way of a three-round decision, 4-1, in a back-and-forth match that had fans standing throughout.
