NOVICE CLASS FINALS RESULTS FROM LOWELL
LOWELL, માસ. (ફેબ્રુઆરી 19, 2016) – Fourteen 2016 New England Tournament of Champions winners were crowned last night in the novice class of 70મી annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

Jeter Promotions signs undefeated Welterweight Steve Weimer

York, પીએ (ફેબ્રુઆરી 17, 2016) – Jeter Promotions is pleased to announce the signing of undefeated Welterweight prospect Steve Weimer to an exclusive promotional contract.

Tony Jeter is a Middleweight contender who twice cracked the world rankings and fought Chris Eubank Jr. for the WBA Interim Middleweight title. Peter Welch’s Gym had seven winners last night: open – Hyde Park welterweight Jennifer Perella and Brookline light welterweight અબ્રાહમ ન્યૂ; novice – Dorchester lightweightJonathen DePina અને middleweight બ્રાયન લોરેન્સ, East Boston lightweight Claire Duffy પ્રકાશ વેલ્ટરવેઇટ, Boston light welterweight Katie Gregory and Franklin heavyweight Jared Gately.
Lowell West End Gym and Grealish Boston had the second-most winners last evening with two apiece.
Last night, 15 matches went the distance, including several upsets, along with one technical knockout and a two walkovers.
All CNE finals winners qualified to compete in the upcoming New England Tournament of Champions, also held at Lowell Memorial Auditorium, શરૂ next Thursday night with the semifinals of the novice division.

Returning New England welterweight champion ઝેવિયર વેગા, representing Canal Street Boxing in Lawrence (MA), હતી એક 4-1 winner against Michael Fontenez, of Nashua, NH.

The 21-year-old Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing, faces Nashua (NH) સ્પર્ધક Michael Fontanez in one of eight open class matches. There are also eight novice class matches scheduled.

The super heavyweight match between Dorchester’s 381-pound Ivens Derival and Haverhill’s 266-pound Kyle Davis was of special especially because of their respective sizes. Davis won by way of a three-round decision, 4-1, in a back-and-forth match that had fans standing throughout.
