Split-T Management Signs Undefeated Power Puncher Anthony Barnes

New York, NY (Juli 9, 2018)-Split-T Management has signed undefeated super middleweight Anthony Barnes.

Barnes of West Bloomfield, Michigan has a record of 10-0 met 8 knock-outs.

De 27 year-old Barnes began boxing at the age of 15, and racked up an amateur record of 62-10 met 25 knock-outs.

Barnes was a five-time Michigan Golden Gloves Champion.

Hij draaide zich professioneel op oktober 12, 2012 with a 3rd round stoppage over Steve Wofford. Barnes has continued to win, and is coming off a 1st round stoppage over veteran Lenwood Dozier on April 13th in Detroit.

Barnes, who is trained by Javan “Suiker” Heuvel, has juggled his career with being a Process Server.

“I signed with David McWater because he was a straight shooter,” said Barnes. “What you see is what you get. I asked people I know he manages and people who know him. Everyone says good things to about him, which confirmed by what I thought.”

Barnes will be back in action this Friday night, July 13th, when he takes on Dwayne Williams in a six-round bout on a show that is promoted by Carlos Llinas CLIP Promotions at The MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit.

Coe is kort, compacte rechterhandpons landde precies op de knop, La Cruz iets minder dan twee minuten in de eerste ronde laten vallen. De Cubaan versloeg de graaf, maar de scheidsrechter oordeelde dat hij niet verder kon. PHILADELPHIA, PENN / CHICAGO, ILL. (Juli 9, 2018)–On June 30th, in Phoenix, Arizona, zwaargewicht Andrey Fedosov (30-3, 25 KO) returned to the ring with a 1st round stoppage over Francisco Mireles.

 

 

 

De 32 year-old Fedosov was making his 1st start under his new management team, Journeyman Management.

 

 

 

With his new managers, Journeyman Management headed by longtime boxing man, Andrew Zak, along with promoters Banner Promotions and Hitz Boxing, Fedosov will look to position himself in the suddenly hot heavyweight division.

Salita Promotions Signs Undefeated Russian Super Middleweight Aslambek Idigov to a Promotional Contract

Dmitriy Salita of Salita Promotions proudly announces the signing of Russian super middleweight prospect Aslambek Idigov (pictured at left) om een ​​promotie-overeenkomst.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (Juli 8, 2018) – Last night in star fashion, San Antonio’s undefeated female boxing sensation, Selina “Aztec Queen” Buurten,” verbeterd (4-0, 2 KO), with devastating one punch knockout over current WBF international lightweight champion, Aida “Lady Sparta” Satybaldinova (3-1-1). I have a lot of respect for Aida, she fought like a warrior, and if she wants the rematch, I’ll give it to her.”

 

 

 

“I fought hard but didn’t get victory tonight,” said Satybaldinova. “Next time I will win. I will continue to work harder to fight the best. I will never give up. I hope to fight Selina again in rematch.”

Calderon Beats Martinez in Grudge Match at Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla.

A heated crosstown welterweight rivalry was decided tonight in front of a near sellout crowd at Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, as Miami’s Harold “King” Calderon (17-0, 10 KO) out-worked and out-punched Miami’s formerly undefeated John David “Pretty Boy” Martinez (10-1, 8 KO)

 

 

Fighting in the 10-round main event of Kris Lawrence’s Heavyweight Factory Boxing “Hometown Throwdown,” event, Calderon cruised to a dominant 10-round decision by scores of 99-91, 100-90 en 100-90.

 

 

 

A combination-punching southpaw, Calderon had too many weapons for Martinez. He ripped to the body and head for 10 rondes, while Martinez offered up the occasional one/two.

 

 

 

Both fighters are enormously popular in the region and their fans tried everything to drown each other out all fight.

 

 

 

In the night’s 10-round super lightweight co-main event, Honolulu’s undefeated Logan “The Korican Kid” Yoon moved his record to 12-0, 10 KO, with a routine unanimous decision over Colombian veteran Luis E. Bloemen (24-10, 20 KO).

 

 

 

The promising 19-year-old Yoon, the WBO-NABO Youth Super Lightweight Champion and WBO #13-rated contender, learned a lesson about veteran survival tactics, as he followed the reluctant Colombian around the ring the entire fight, looking for opportunities to engage. Flores landed the occasional right hand on the southpaw Yoon, but mostly threw pot shots that missed and then quickly circled out of range of any return fire.

 

 

 

Yoon was cut over the left eye by a headbutt, but still managed to dominate the infrequent action. De scores waren 99-91, 97-93 en 97-93.

 

 

 

Two-time Olympic medalist Ivan Dychko of Hollywood, Florida, via Kazakhstan, moved his perfect record to 7-0 (7 KO) with a one-punch demolition of once promising Maurice Harris 26-22-3 (11 KO) of East Orange, New Jersey.

Two featherweights went to crowd-pleasing war over city-wide bragging rights, and after six rounds of “bombs away” action, Jessy Cruz (nu 13-7-1, 5 KO) ended up taking a unanimous decision over fellow Miami resident Raul Chirino (11-8, 6 KO).

 

 

 

The all-action Cruz can’t seem to be in a bad fight and this one was no different. He was down and badly hurt near the end of round one. Chirino was badly staggered at the end of round two and down from a right hand in round three.

 

 

 

De scores waren 58-54, 57-55 en 57-55, but this fun fight could have easily been called a draw.

 

 

 

A single left hook by Miami’s Livan Navarro at 2:47 of round one brought an end to what was shaping up to be a decent eight-round welterweight showdown against the Dominican’s Julio C Reynoso.

 

 

 

The pair came out swinging for the fences and Navarro (nu 8-0, 6 KO) hit it first with the sledgehammer left hand to the jaw of Reynoso (nu 12-2, 7 KO) who dropped and took the full 10 count on one knee.

 

 

 

In a fight where both fighters appeared to injure themselves, popular Miami slugger Ulysses Diaz was forced to go the distance for the first time, but still managed to win his light heavyweight four-rounder over Chicago’s Israel Echevarria by unanimous decision (scores van 39-37, 40-36 en 40-36).

 

 

 

As in many fights tonight, the judges’ verdicts were no indication of the closeness of the fight. The two warriors each did their share of good work. The heavily muscled Diaz (nu 6-0, 5 KO) landed the harder punches occasionally while favoring his right arm. The crafty Echevarria (nu 3-5, 2 KO) snuck in a number of sneaky shots, despite an injured left leg.

 

 

 

To put it mildly, Echevarria was very unhappy with the decision.

 

 

 

In an all-Miami super middleweight scrap, Cuban import Irosvani Duvergel (3-0, 2 KO) won a four-round unanimous decision over “better than his record” Elie Agustama (6-9, 3 KO).

 

 

 

Duvergel, who had never seen the second round of a professional fight previously, dropped Agustama in the first, but the durable Agustama got up and made a great fight of it. The free-swinging pair brawled furiously the rest of the way. The scores (40-35, 39-36 en 39-36) didn’t reflect the competitiveness of the combat.

 

 

 

In a back-and-forth six-round lightweight battle, Coral Springs, Florida’s Dustin Arnold (5-1, 1 KO) won a closely contested unanimous decision over Miami’s Daniel Placeres (nu (6-1, 5 KO).

 

 

 

Arnold landed the cleaner, harder shots to offset the superior work rate of the shorter Placeres. Plenty of crowd support for both fighters. De scores waren 60-54, 58-56 en 59-55

 

 

 

Undefeated Lawrence Newton, of Boynton Beach, Florida, chose to brawl inside for all six rounds of his super bantamweight showdown with tough Mexican, Pedro Melo of Tijuana.

An exciting and accomplished fighter from Florida, Berto returns to the ring after dropping a contest last April to Shawn Porter. Berto represented Haiti in the 2004 Olympics and picked up his biggest recent triumph on FOX in April 2016 as Berto scored a fourth-round knockout of former champion Victor Ortiz in their high-octane rematch.

 

 

 

Berto previously challenged retired legend Floyd Mayweather in September 2015 and has engaged in numerous Fight of the Year-worthy bouts, waaronder een 2012 war with Robert Guerrero and his first fight with Ortiz. He has twice held a welterweight title, first the WBC belt, which he successfully defended five times between 2008 en 2011, plus the IBF crown he picked up in 2011 with a victory over Jan Zaveck.

He looked sharp in his first big fight in years, displaying similar speed and skills that had made him a two-weight champion before being given a controversial draw against former champion Victor Ortiz on FOX, in a fight most thought Alexander had won.

 

 

 

The 31-year-old emerged onto the scene with a unanimous decision victory over Randall Bailey to add the welterweight crown to the 140-pound title he had won three years prior. Originally from St. Louis, but now training in Florida with longtime coach Kevin Cunningham, Alexander has defeated the likes of Marcos Maidana, Lucas Matthysse and Jesus Soto Karass throughout his accomplished career.

A Brooklyn-resident who has made the borough home for his whole career, Quillin returned to the ring last September when he defeated Dashon Johnson by unanimous decision. The former middleweight champion made three title defenses after winning his title from Hassan N’Dam in Brooklyn and his only loss came at the hands of former champion Daniel Jacobs.

 

 

 

“I’m excited to be back at home in New York in front of my fans and people I love so dearly,” Zei Quillin. “I’m coming back more polished and more seasoned and a man of God. I’ve definitely always been a guy who steps out and does what people think I can’t do. I know J’Leon is looking to make a splash. He needs a name on his resume. I have to do everything in my power to make sure that doesn’t happen. Either he’s going to have to learn a hard lesson or give me a hard lesson.”

 

 

 

De 30-jarige Liefde enters this fight unbeaten in his last seven contests after most recently defeating Jaime Barboza in May. The Michigan-native who now trains and lives in Las Vegas had previously defeated a slew of contenders and will look to move closer to a world title shot with a victory over Quillin on August 4.

 

 

 

“I think this is a really good matchup,” said Love. “Peter Quillin is a very talented fighter and a former world champion who is always in great shape. He’s someone you have to train very hard for and that you definitely cannot take lightly. I’m just grateful for the opportunity to fight a spectacular fighter like him. We’ll put on a great fight.”

 

Browne has put together three-straight impressive knockout victories to continue his rapid rise up the highly competitive 175-pound division. The 27-year-old southpaw has sandwiched knockouts of Thomas Williams, Jr. last February and Francy Ntetu this January around a second-round destruction of then unbeaten Seanie Monaghan in the inaugural boxing event at Nassau Coliseum on a FOX primetime telecast last July. De 2012 U.S. Olympian will look to put himself in position for a world title fight with a convincing win on August 4.

 

 

 

“I feel good about fighting close to home in New York,” Said Browne. “Lenin Castillo is definitely a good, hongerig, up-and-coming fighter who has one loss to Joseph Williams. The only other blemish on his pro resume was a majority draw in Brooklyn against then unbeaten Travis Peterkin in 2015.

 

 

 

“Marcus Browne is a boxer I’ve been following a long time because we were both Olympians,” Said Castillo. “This is a good style matchup that I think will make a fun fight for the fans. We’re looking for the victory. Both of us know that a win here can take us to a world title shot and I’m not planning on wasting my opportunity.”

 

Collazo is a former world champion hailing from Brooklyn who has fought top welterweights from Berto and Shane Mosley to Keith Thurman and Ricky Hatton. His most recent fight saw him score a sensational knockout victory over Sammy Vasquez in February 2017. He returns to the ring after recovering from injuries sustained during training and will face Perrella van Fort Myers, FL. The 29-year-old defeated Alex Martin in his home state in December via a unanimous decision in his last outing.

Towering 6′ 9″ Kazakhstani heavyweight Ivan Dychko will return to the ring this Friday, Juli 6, at Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

 

 

 

Dychko, the two-time Olympic super-heavyweight bronze medallist (6-0, 6 KO), will face long-time heavyweight gate keeper Maurice “Mo Bettah” Harris (26-21-3, 11 KO) of East Orange, New Jersey, in an eight-round showdown on Heavyweight Factory Boxing’s “Hometown Throwdown” event.

 

 

 

In de 10-ronde main event, undefeated Miami-based welterweight Harold “King” Calderon (16-0, 10 KO) takes on John David “Pretty Boy” Martinez (10-0, 8 KO) in a crosstown battle.
