HARTFORD, Conn. (Novembre 26, 2018) – Undefeated prospect Richard “Popeye le marin” Rivera will take his act South this Friday night, when he fights Josué Robertson dans une “rester occupé” combattre sur le “Boxing Bash” carte, présenté par Christy Martin Promotions, à Centerstage@Noda à Charlotte, Caroline du Nord.

Blanco connected with Martin through social media and, as he explained, things went smoothly from there to place Rivera on that card. “We want to keep Richard busy and then have a breakout year in 2019,” Blanco noted. “The beauty of Richard is that he stays busy and works hard, sometimes when he’s training by himself. Boxing is his job and I believe he’s destined for greatness.”

NEW YORK – November 27, 2018 – Combate Americas today announced a pair of “alternate” bouts for its much-anticipated, biggest event of the year – the “COPA COMBATE” one-night, eight-man Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) tournament that will award its featherweight (145 livres) winner of three consecutive bouts a $100,000 grand prize at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Californie. vendredi, Décembre. 7.
The second annual “COPA COMBATE” tournament airs live in English in the U.S. and Canada on DAZN (10 p.m. HE / 7 h, heure. PT), and live on television in Spanish in the U.S. on both Univision (12 a.m. ET/PT) et Réseau Univision Deportes (UDN) (12 a.m. ET / 9 h, heure. PT), and marks the first time in history that California State will sanction a one-night, eight-man MMA tournament.

In a battle of two professional debut competitors, Albert Gonzales (0-0) of Fresno will collide with James Porter (0-0) de Fresno.

VACANT WBC 154 POUND SILVER BELT CHAMPIONSHIP MAKES PERFECT SENSE FOR A LIAM SMITH-ROBERTO GARCIA MATCH-UP
Deerfield Beach, FL (Octobre 31, 2018)—Roberto Garcia wants to reclaim his WBC Silver Belt Championship and what better way than to match him up with England’s Liam Smith for the vacant title.
Garcia (41-4, 24 KOs), who has been in training since losing his Silver belt to Martin Murray in a 12-round unanimous decision on June 23, is ready to take on the durable Smith (26-2-1, 14 KOs) for the belt.
“I saw Smith’s fight against Jaime Munguia for the WBO Super Welterweight title on television,”A déclaré Garcia. “It was an all-out war and I feel that the two of us can bring the same type of fight and intensity into the ring for the title. I’m ready to go.”
Smith went the distance in Las Vegas with Munguia and lost his interim WBO Super Welterweight title, which he had won in beating Liam Williams on April 8, 2017 and defended in a rematch with Williams on Nov. 11, 2017 in winning a majority decision.
“Garcia is ready to make the fight with Liam Smith and so is his promoter, Don King,” said manager Lee Holliday. “Both of these fighters are true warriors, so let’s get it on for the title.”
