This Friday showdown vs. unbeaten NABO champion Yomar “The Magic” Alamo

LAS VEGAS (Février 27, 2020) – Undefeated super lightweightKendo "Tremendo" Castaneda (17-0, 8 KOs) flew into Orlando from his native San Antonio this past Tuesday night on his first visit to Florida.

Castaneda captured the vacant North American Boxing Association (Aussi) crown a year ago, taking a 10-round decision from previously undefeatedGilbert Venegas, Jr.(10-0), and followed that with an impressive 10-round unanimous decision over Dominican veteranEudy Berbardo (24-3).

Last October in Reno, Nevada, Castaneda stoppedStan Martyniouk (20-3) au sixième tour, after which he was installed by the World Boxing Organization as its No. 15 rated super lightweight in the world.

WBO Non. 8 ranked Alamo, fighting out of Puerto Rico, is coming off the only blemish on either fighter’s pro record, fighting to a draw withAntonio Moran (24-4-1).

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Décembre 17, 2019) – WBA super lightweight champion, Mario “Azteca” Quartiers (25-0, 16 KOs), continues to receive accolades from his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. En septembre 28, 2019, Barrios defeated Batyr Akhmedov, winning the vacant WBA World Title, becoming the first world champion from San Antonio à la fin 25 ans.

Aujourd'hui, Barrios was honored with a special recognition at the Commissioners Court. Commissioner Justin Rodriguez from Bexar County, Precinct 2, who sponsored the ceremony, was joined by his colleagues on Commissioners Court in San Antonio and presented Barrios with a proclamation.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the Commissioners Court here in my hometown of San Antonio,” Saïd Barrios. “It’s been a nice ride since winning my world title. I’ve been meeting some very influential people, and these are individuals that are making a difference in San Antonio. Today was incredible and I want to thank everyone for all their support.”

Barrios has been active in his community since becoming a world champion. En Octobre, Barrios joined Palais de cireur and gave way shoes to thirty families at the Club garçons et filles.

“I think being a positive role model is important, so I’m going to join forces with everyone, to help make San Antonio a better place for our youth,” Barrios a continué. “Building a strong community is what’s important at the end of the day, and I’ll be here to help out. DAVIES ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES JAMES KIRKLAND CO-PROMOTIONAL DEAL WITH WARRIORS BOXING

San Antonio, Texas – Divertissement Davies is proud to announce that knockout artist James Kirkland (34-2, 30 KO) has signed a two year, six fight co-promotional deal with Warriors Boxing (who have worked on previous fight cards with the likes of PBC, Top Rank, Golden Boy, Etc) . After a four year layoff, Kirkland returned to the ring in August of 2019 and has won his first two fights convincingly by way of knockout.


Kirkland has been one of boxing’s most explosive fighters with his sights set on lining up a huge fight with major contenders in 2020 and gradually working his way back into world title contention. This deal will provide the vicious southpaw the opportunity of achieving that and more.


“My only goal has been to get back on top and with this kind of team surrounding me I feel like it’s only a matter of time before it happens,” said Kirkland.


Kirkland will be in attendance at tonight’s Terrence Crawford fight in New York.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Août 5, 2019) – Samedi dernier au Sanctuaire Alzafar à San Antonio, TX, léger prétendante Femme, Selina “Reine aztèque” Quartiers pour améliorer (6-1, 3 KOs) après avoir éliminé Nina Gallegos avec un coup de corps vicieux juste 42 dans une seconde tour. Promotions suprême de boxe a été le promoteur.

“Il était beau de voir les fans de San Antoinio sortent et soutiennent notre événement de boxe hier soir. Je voulais faire une déclaration avec une performance de knock-out, et j'eu la chance de le livrer. La communauté de la boxe et les fans à San Antonio sont incroyables. J'espère que nous pourrons continuer à apporter plus de spectacles de boxe à notre grande ville.”

Quartiers, le champion des poids légers NABF cherche à se remettre sur piste de titre mondial.

“Mon objectif est maintenant l'atterrissage d'un grand combat avec un combattant de haut dans le super poids plume ou division des poids légers,” Barrios a continué. “Mon manager travaille sur un certain nombre de choses et mon prochain combat sera annoncé très bientôt, je l'espère contre un grand nom.”

“Nous avons des plans pour Selina d'être dans un grand combat quelque temps en 2020,” dit Kerry Dangle, Quartiers’ co-manager. “Je pense qu'elle sera mieux adaptée si nous pouvons la garder occupés, peut-être un plus tune up combat avant son étape à nouveau.”

MATAMOROS, MEXIQUE (Mai 30, 2019) – PrinceWilsonYonexMoquetteTerre Ranch de boxe 18-year-old featherweight sensation, Ricky médina (3-0 2KOs) de San Antonio, Texas, will return to the ring this Friday for his fourth professional bout at The Casa Ahida Cafeteria Gourmet in Heroica Matamoros, Mexique.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Décembre 1, 2018) – Last night at the Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, TX, TMB & PRB Divertissement et Roy Jones Jr. Promotions de boxe, présenté, “Whose ‘0’ Will Go 2”, où Kendo Castaneda (15-0, 7 KOs) captured the NABA super lightweight title with a unanimous decision victory Gilbert Venegas Jr. (10-1, 6 KOs), handing him his first loss as a professional.
Dans les premiers tours, both fighters were having their moments, landing hard shots, but as the fight progressed, Castaneda started to get in a grove by going to the body. Venegas held his own but couldn’t get his punches off like he wanted too, and Castaneda started to take over the fight. At the end of the ten-round fight, Kendo was up big on the judge’s cards. Scorecards lus 98-92, 99-91,100-90, all in favor of Castaneda.

Local hero, Luey Villareal (4-0-1, 1 KO) captured the ABF middleweight title with a stunning TKO against Michael Klekotta (2-4, 1 KO). Villareal broke down Klekotta for the first three rounds before stopping him with a barrage of punches in the fourth round. The time was at the 1:20 marque.
4-Round Super Featherweight
18-sensation d'un an, Ricky médina (2-0, 2 KOs), scored a second-round KO over Jorge De Leon (0-5). Medina landed a powerful uppercut in the middle of round two, sending De Leon to the canvas. He then followed with a devastating right hook to the temple, knocking out De Leon at the 2:58 marque.

Xavier Wilson (9-0, 1 KO) remained undefeated with a unanimous decision victory against vs Gelacio Cruz (2-4-3, 1 KOs). Wilson used lateral movement to land his punches off angles.Scorecards read 40-36 deux fois et 39-36 for Wilson.
4-Round Middleweight Bout
In a battle of hometown fighters, George Ramos (2-0, 1 KO) vaincu Steven Ramos (4-1, 1 KO) par voie de décision unanime. George Ramos landed the cleaner shots and was the aggressor. Scorecards lus 40-36 deux fois et 39-36 all in favor for George Ramos.

Navarez was the aggressor, coming right at Horne from the opening bell, landing overhand rights. Horne had his moments but didn’t do enough to keep Navarez off him. Scorecards lus 39-36 deux fois, et 38-38 for Navarez.
4-Round Middleweight
In a battle of middleweight prospects, Washington Luiz (1-0, 1 KO), who was making his pro debut, scored a fourth round TKO against David Godley (1-1). Luiz was circling to his right, landing accurate counter punches throughout the fight. A right hook, straight left combo hurt Godly, knocking him out on his feet, forcer l'arbitre à arrêter le combat à la .45 marque la quatrième ronde.

RICHARD “EL CASTIGO” MEDINA READY TO SHINE IN 2ND PRO FIGHT

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Novembre 8, 2018) – Amateur standout and 5-Time National Champion, Ricky “El Castigo” Medina (1-0, 1 KO), qui est géré par Greg Hannley de Prince Ranch Boxing et promu par TMB & PRB Divertissement, is scheduled to return to the ring on December 1, 2018, at the Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, TX. “I’m eager to get back in the ring and give my hometown fans another great performance,” said Ricky Medina, who scored a third-round TKO in his pro debut. “I’m working hard in the gym and I’ll be at my best when I step in the ring. The ultimate goal will be to score another knockout.”

 

 

 

At only 18-years old, Medina, who is a senior at Lanier High School in San Antonio, gives his thoughts on being a professional fighter while still attending high school.

 

 

 

“It’s great that I’m able to fight professionally while I’m still in high school, because I have a lot of friends that come to see me fight.” Medina continued. “I’m hoping to have a bunch of teachers attend as well. I’m starting to build up a nice fan base. I’m hoping it grows with each fight.”

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Octobre 25, 2018) – Prince Ranch boxeur Daniel “La Bête” Balcer (12-1, 5 KOs), reviendra à l'action ce samedi, Octobre 27, 2018 à l'Auditorium San Antonio Shrine à San Antonio, Texas. Baiz fera face Leonardo Esquivel Carrizal (5-4-1, 2 KOs) dans un combat de 4 rounds et a juré de se battre au poids welter au début 2019. Ce combat sera à un poids de prise de 150 lbs.

 

 

 

“Je sais ce que je dois faire pour devenir l'un des meilleurs combattants au monde et une partie de cela est de faire les bons choix pour combattre au bon poids,” dit Baiz. “Je sais que combattre chez les poids welters me donnera les meilleures chances de remporter un titre mondial. J'ai hâte de me battre à nouveau devant les fans de ma ville ce samedi.”
