LEON, NICARAGUA (December 10, 2015) – WBA #7 rated super-featherweight contender, Oliver Flores (27-1-2, 17 KOS), is eager to show the world he is capable of dethroning WBA world champion Takashi Uchiyama (23-0-1, 19 KOs). The championship fight between Uchiyama and Flores is set to take place on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2015 at the Ota-City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.
Promoted by Havoc Boxing Promotions, Flores is currently riding a 4-fight winning streak, with his last fight ending by way of knockout. With the WBA super-featherweight world title on the line, Flores feels he’s destined to bring home the title to his countrymen of Nicaragua.
