MAYWEATHER PROMOTIONS SIGNS UNDEFEATED LIGHTWEIGHT SAUL “NENO” RODRIGUEZ

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Décembre 15, 2016) – Mayweather Promotions has added exciting prospect Saul Rodriguez, the baby faced fighter who’s already been making noise in the boxing industry, to their stable of fighters. A proven crowd pleaser, Rodriguez boats a flawless record of 20-0-1 avec 15 KO et un 71 percent knockout rate.
The twenty-three-year-old prospect was born in Riverside, COMME. and scored a first round knockout in his professional debut back in September 2011 against William Fisher and hasn’t looked back since. Baltimore, MD (Décembre 15, 2016) – Jake “The Snake” Smith’s Baltimore Pro Boxing makes their long awaited return to Michael’s Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD for “A Scary Night at the Fights” Friday, Janvier 13.

Wallace, who scored a first round knockout in his pro debut, faces a foe to be named.
Rugged 46 fight veteran Michael “The Amazing” Gbenga of Baltimore by way of Accra, Ghana will appear on the card in a light heavyweight contest.

“In addition to the tremendous action that will be televised on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING and SHOWTIME EXTREME on January 14, boxing fans in attendance at Barclays Center will be treated to an exciting undercard featuring up-and-coming local prospects,” a déclaré Lou DiBella, Président de DiBella Entertainment. “Polish heavyweight Adam Kownacki, Irish welterweight Noel Murphy and Brooklynite Julian Sosa, who is of Mexican descent, will all put their undefeated records on the line. Originally from Cork, Irlande, Murphy has fought exclusively in the U.S. since turning pro in 2014 while fighting out of Woodlawn, New York. The 22-year-old earned his seventh pro victory in November when he won a dominant decision over Mohamed Allam in November. It was his second victory of the year and now he will make his second career start at Barclays Center looking to begin 2017 dans le style.

Michael Farenas & MARC PAGCALIWANGAN signer un contrat de Promotinal AVEC STAR BOXE

Designed to showcase the best of Chicago’s up-and-coming talent, this WCFN will feature undefeated super welterweight Achour Esho taking on the always tough Anthony Abbruzzese for the ABO Regional Jr. Middleweight Championship in the night’s eight-round main event.

In a pair of scheduled six-round fights, flashy 26-year-old Nichols meets another undefeated opponent, San Diego’s Kevin “KO” Ottley (3-0, 2 KOs), in an interesting match of unbeaten prospects that should propel the winner to the next level of the welterweight division, and constantly improving 21-year-old Moreno takes on Milwaukee’s Mike Fowler (5-3, 2 KOs) in the former’s eighth fight since turning pro March 20th. DeGale worked out and answered questions for media at the Stonebridge Boxing Club as he nears his third straight fight in the United States, this time looking to return to the UK as a unified world champion.

“Growing up, Joe Calzaghe, and Prince Naseem Hamed, they’re the ones I used to watch and I’d think, ‘I can’t wait to do that.’ Calzaghe’s one of my favorite fighters. He’s a bit similar to me. MONTRÉAL (Décembre 12, 2016) – Group Yvon Michel (GYM) et Gestev sont très heureux de confirmer la Le choc des titans méga-événement en tant qu'ancienne Fédération internationale de boxe (IBF) champion du monde des super-moyens Lucian Bute (32-3-1, 25 KOs) affrontera le World Boxing Council (WBC) Champion des poids lourds légers d'argent Eleider “Tempête” Alvarez (20-0, 10 KOs), Vendredi, Février 24, dans un combat poids lourd léger de 12 rounds au Centre Vidéotron de Québec.
Cet événement est une présentation de Vidéotron, en association avec Mise-O-Jeu.

Alvarez mettra sa position de challenger obligatoire WBC au champion Adonis“Superman” Stevenson (28-1, 23 KOs) en danger avec une date de fin avril pour ce combat pour le titre mondial ayant déjà été réservé.
Bute s'est également fixé pour objectif de défier Stevenson. Le vétéran gaucher prévoit de démontrer clairement qu'il mérite un autre coup pour le titre mondial, prendre le Non. 1 conternder à Alvarez invaincu. Quel que soit le résultat final, le gagnant sera le challenger le plus populaire et le plus légitime de Stevenson, l'intérêt et la notoriété grandissants d'une épreuve de force aux championnats du monde totalement québécois.
Tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour accroître l'intérêt populaire pour ce combat, qui s'avérera être l'une des plus importantes de l'histoire du Québec.
C'est une confrontation locale entre deux athlètes qui ont choisi le Québec comme leur maison d'adoption, s'intégrer pleinement à la culture locale et apprendre le français, ainsi que l'endroit où ils ont combattu la grande majorité de leurs combats. Dans un coin se trouve l'ancien champion du monde Bute, qui a livré de nombreuses performances inspirantes au cours de son 13 combats de championnat du monde (10-2-1, 8 KOs) devenir une grande star et célébrité admirée au Québec.
L'autre corner trouve Alvarez invaincu, un combattant de classe mondiale depuis trois ans qui a livré ses plus brillantes performances à l'étranger, mais surtout dans l'ombre d'autres grandes stars du Québec. L'ancien olympien colombien veut établir sa vraie valeur après s'être préparé à Stevenson en combattant des adversaires plus que l'année dernière. “Quand Marc m'a appelé dans son bureau,” Alvarez a commenté, “Je me demandais ce qui se passait. Généralement, quand il m'appelle dans son bureau, ce n'est pas une bonne nouvelle. Il m'a demandé de m'asseoir et si je voulais faire face à Bute. J'ai souri et dit, ben oui. Il est le boxeur le plus populaire au Québec, so my motivation will be different. I’m doing this for myself and my family. I want to be world champion and now it’s going through Lucian. I’ve been looking a long time for a big fight like this and for the first time I will be the headliner.”
