HARTFORD, Conn. (Mayo 3, 2018) -Hartford Boxing Promotions has announced its inaugural event, “Fight Night en la capital”, to take place Saturday night, Junio 16, en Xfinity Center en Hartford, Connecticut.

This kid is something special. Richard is exactly what Hartford needs, somebody youngster can look up to as a role model. ‘Popeye’ is exciting to watch and very popular. “Tony is like my second father and I’m grateful to him for allowing me to make my pro debut in my hometown,” Collier remarked. “I’m bringing a big fan-base and I’m going to put on a show. I’m familiar with a lot of fighters on this card. ‘Popeye’ is like my big brother. We train and have traveled together as amateurs. We motivate each other. I’m going to try and get a faster knockout than him June 16º.”

Mason “Rock Hard Mighty” Menard is focused and determined like no other time during his career.

 

 

 

The lightweight contender moved six hours from his home and two children in Louisiana to train with a new team in Dallas alongside the likes of WBC World Super Welterweight Champion Jermell Charlo and IBF Welterweight Champion Errol Spence Jr.

 

 

 

Menard (33-2, 24 KOs) will face undefeated Devin “The Dream” Haney (18-0, 12 KOs) of Las Vegas for the USBA Lightweight Championship on Friday, Mayo 11, in the 10-round main event of the popular prospect series ShoBox: La Nueva Generación quadrupleheader (10 p.m. ET / PT) on SHOWTIME from 2300 Arena en Filadelfia.

Fighting live on ShoBox en 2016, Menard scored a brutal Knockout of the Year candidate over previously undefeated Eudy Bernardo and got another ShoBox win later that year with an impressive KO over Bahodir Mamadjonov. He then suffered his only loss since 2008, in a short-notice showdown with WBO Lightweight Champion Raymundo Beltran.

 

 

 

He returned from the setback in March 2017 with a decision win, but suffered a serious injury.

 

 

 

“I had a detached front rotator cuff tendon and partial torn biceps tendon. It gave out on me in my last fight in the first round. I’ve had surgery on it, and rehabbed it, and now I’m ready to return to the world stage. I’m in with a good, slick boxer, but my trainers have a game plan and we have been working on a few things that he does, just to be prepared for what’s to come against him. Menard says the hardest part of preparing to face one of boxing’s most talked-about prospects on national television is the loneliness of missing his two beloved daughters, Demi (8 años) and newborn Amelia.

MESES JOE: “Tengo tantas personas a quienes agradecer por este honor. Soy un Buffalonian. No hay nadie más a favor de una Nueva York, pero no lo es. Esto es especial para mí porque es el Salón de Boxeo del Estado de Nueva York de la fama. Esto me solidifica y me hace pensar que no sólo soy un chico de la zona. Hubo una gran desventaja que viene de una pequeña ciudad, combate no era el mismo que en los gimnasios de la ciudad de Nueva York, pero tenía una ventaja proveniente de Nueva York Occidental. Nadie brotaba a cabo como lo hicimos en Buffalo con 10,000, entonces 16,00 y finalmente 18,000 gente. Siempre estaban detrás de mí y compartir esto con ellos, ya que su apoyo me hizo. Mi sueño era luchar en Buffalo y continuar a luchar allí.
“Uno de los mejores momentos de mi vida estaba luchando Monte Barrett en HBO en el Madison Square Garden. Fue uno de los más grandes boxeadores del mundo que luchaban por el título mundial. AL COLE: “Pensé que el boxeo era el más estúpido y el deporte cada vez más tonta. Quien quería que le dio un puñetazo en la cara? Empecé a finales de boxeo. He jugado un poco a algunos y la gente decía que era bastante bueno. Empecé a boxear cuando tenía 20, en el ejercito, estacionado en el Fuerte. capucha. PETE BRODSKY: “Quiero agradecer a la junta. Yo voy a ser 70 y se inició en el boxeo cuando era 18. Se creó una nueva dirección en mi vida. Estoy muy orgulloso de estar en compañía de chicos que no sólo habló lo, Ellos lo amaron. Si realmente amas este deporte, que realmente tiene que aprenderlo. Cualquier hombre que entró en el ring, además de todas las obras viales, tiempo en el gimnasio y sacrificar lo que comen, hizo que fuera lo mejor que pueden ser.

Undefeated Puerto Rican Bantamweight Manny Rodriguez Ready for Former World Champion Paul Butler This Saturday at 02 Arena

Bantamweight contender Emmanuel “Manny” Rodriguez and his team have landed safely and ready to face former world champion Paul “Baby Faced Assassin” Butler for the vacant IBF World Championship, este sábado, Mayo 5, at the O2 Arena in London.

 

 

 

 

Presented by Matchroom Boxing, Rodríguez (17-0, 12 KOs), de Puerto Rico, and Butler (26-1, 14 KOs), 29, de Inglaterra, will meet in a 12-round supporting bout to the all-British rematch between former World Heavyweight Champions Tony Bellew (29-2-1, 19 KOs) and David Haye (28-3, 26 KOs).

 

 

 

 

Rodriguez almost had his very promising boxing career derailed for a time by an unfortunate car accident in which he burned 66% of his body. After a long rehab, he returned, and went on a, hasta ahora, 17-fight tear through the professional ranks.

 

 

 

The 25-year-old was the mandatory contender to face former champion Ryan Burnett, who chose to relinquish his belts. This allowed for Butler to slide into the fight for the unclaimed belt.

 

 

 

29-year-old Butler previously held the IBF belt, but before defending it, elected to drop down in weight to face then-champion Zolani Tete… and was stopped in the eighth round. He has won nine fights since.

AGUASCALIENTES, MX (Abril 30, 2018) – Este pasado sábado, Promociones de azúcar presentado “FERIA de CAMPEONES”, una tarjeta de once pelea de Aguascalientes, México. En el evento estelar a 12 asaltos, súper mediano Bruno Sandoval (20-2-1, 16 KOs), quien recientemente firmado con Promociones azúcar, recogido una primera ronda TKO sobre Devis Caceres (28-9-3, 19 KOs) capturar el título del CMB Latino de plata súper mediano en el proceso. Un gancho potente derecha aterrizó rubor en la cara de Cáceres, poner fin a la pelea en el 2:50 marca de la primera ronda, como Sandoval reivindica el título vacante en estilo.

 

 

 

 

“Significa mucho que ha ganado esta pelea por nocaut y el hecho de que era para un título del CMB hace aún mejor,” señaló Bruno Sandoval, quien tomó la pelea con poca antelación. “Soy un luchador completo que puede desafiar a cualquiera en mi división en este momento! Buitrago (30-3-1, 17 KOs), 26, Actualmente está clasificado a no mundo. 12 por la OMB.
