Aquesta emissió del FNU Combat Sports Show comença amb una de les històries més polèmiques de la setmana. Molts experts esportius s'afanyen a ridiculitzar Guillermo Rigondeaux per haver abandonat el seu gran partit de boxa amb Vasyl Lomachenko dissabte passat.. Stephen A. d'ESPN. Smith no va perdre el temps durant l'emissió, atacar el boxejador cubà per negar-se a sortir a la setena ronda de la lluita unilateral. Teddy Atles, exiliat de les seves tasques d'informes de primera línia gràcies a les seves opinions obertes sobre la corrupció de la boxa i el seu tractament abrasiu als comentaristes amb menys experiència., va venir en defensa de Rigo. Atlas va discutir amb Smith des del seu propi estudi, bàsicament explicant que tothom és humà. Tom, Tony i Rich ofereixen tots els seus propis punts de vista sobre la situació i els seus pensaments sobre la “lluitar.”

Després d'un parell de setmanes de descans, tornem aquesta setmana per parlar del món dels esports de combat. Tom, Tony i Rich es posen al dia i parlen dels esdeveniments de les últimes dues setmanes i tenen una vista prèvia de les properes accions de boxa i MMA.. Tom, Tony i Rich presten especial atenció a la fantàstica targeta UFC del cap de setmana passat amb dues de les millors baralles de l'any a MMA per xerrar. La magistral actuació d'Eddie Alvarez contra Justin Gaethje va ser prou emocionant, però afegir l'actuació de Yancy Medeiros contra Charles Oliveira i això va posar aquesta carta en una categoria pròpia. Nova York, Nova York (Desembre 5, 2017) – FITE TV announces the debut of PRIMUS Fighting Championship 9 de desembre 2017. L'esdeveniment, which will be the inaugural event for PRIMUS FC, features a number of UFC veterans as well as some of the hottest young talent in MMA. Headlining the event will be UFC veteran Houston “The Assassin” Alexander as he looks for vengeance against Rakim “The Boogeyman” Cleveland who handed Alexander a TKO loss early this year. The light heavyweight matchup is sure to produce fireworks both fighters have high TKO/KO finishing rates. Midwest fighting pride will also be on the line as both fighters hail from and have made their careers on the Midwest MMA scene.
In the co-main event one of the hottest heavyweight prospects in MMA and recent winner of Dana White’s Dimarts Night Contender series, Shelton “el Soterrador” Greus, faces off against Jason Walraven who will be hungry and looking to prove himself after a TKO loss to one of the toughest heavyweights in MMA, Tony “Kyrptonite” Lopez earlier this year.
A pair of former Ultimate Fighter contestants are also featured on the card in Rob “The Saint” Emerson and Jamie Yager. Emerson, a contestant of The Ultimate Fighter season five, faces David “The King” Sachs in a battle of experienced grapplers who are no strangers to submissions. Yager, a standout in The Ultimate Fighter season 11 and Kings MMA product, brings his explosive style of striking and a two fight winning streak into the cage against the Canadian Tyler “TNT” Jackson who makes his way back to the cage after a three year break from the sport.
Also on the card is Oklahoma product Cortez “The Crazy Cowboy” Coleman who is now training out of Factory X under Muay Thai coah Mark Montoya in Denver Colorado and is looking to get back on track against the surging Christiano “Urso” Frohlich who rides a four fight win streak into a matchup that promises to be a standup battle.
Adding to the lineup of MMA talent will be former Ultimate Fighter season 2 winner and UFC lightweight title contender Joe “Daddy” Stevenson who will be providing commentary on the night’s action. Fans will also be treated to a National Anthem performance by Miss Oklahoma Alex Smith! Catch the action live December 9th at 7PM ET/4PM PT on FITE TV PPV.

QUINTON ‘RAMPAGE’ JACKSON SIGNS EXCLUSIVE MULTI-FIGHT DEAL WITH BELLATOR MMA

LOS ANGELES – Bellator is pleased to announce that it has reached a multi-fight deal with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (37-12), exclusively securing the talents of one of the most well-known and fan-favorite competitors in MMA history. This multi-fight deal was the result of a lengthy negotiation with Jackson’s manager Tiki Ghosn from Arsenal Sports Agency, and it promises to deliver to the Bellator fans more of the signature MMA action “Rampage” is known for.

 

“Rampage” is expected to return to the Bellator cage in early 2018.

 

Fighting out of Irvine, Qualif., “Rampage” has made five appearances with Bellator, accruing an impressive mark of 4-1. His legendary career has seen him compete against some of the top names in the sport, generating a loyal army of fans along the way due to his exciting fighting style and unique personality. The former PRIDE star and UFC champion is the proud owner of epic highlight-reel slams and knockouts earned throughout his epic battles with the likes of Chuck Liddell, I Henderson, "King Mo,” Kevin Randleman and, potser el més destacat, his trilogy with fellow Bellator athlete Wanderlei Silva.

 

El Memphis, Tenn.-native was also a coach on one of the most memorable and successful seasons of The Ultimate Fighter on Spike in 2010. Coaching opposite Rashad Evans, the season featured multiple future Bellator stars, Incloent Matt Mitrione, Roy Nelson and the late Kimbo Slice.
