This Friday showdown vs. unbeaten NABO champion Yomar “The Magic” Alamo

LAS VEGAS (Febrer 27, 2020) – Undefeated super lightweightKendo “Tremendo” Castaneda (17-0, 8 KOs) flew into Orlando from his native San Antonio this past Tuesday night on his first visit to Florida.

“It’s pretty cool here,” Castaneda shared his first impressions of Florida. “A guy working for the promoter met us at the airport to film my arrival and interview me, so it’s been a welcoming experience, and people in Florida know I’m in the house. I like it here. It’s nice and in a way, I feel like I’m at home. I’m going to put on a show for fans, I’m going to be like their Disney World. I’m ready for the big ride and to put on a great show for the people.”

Castaneda captured the vacant North American Boxing Association (També) crown a year ago, taking a 10-round decision from previously undefeatedGilbert Venegas, Jr.(10-0), and followed that with an impressive 10-round unanimous decision over Dominican veteranEudy Berbardo (24-3).

Last October in Reno, Nevada, Castaneda stoppedStan Martyniouk (20-3) in the sixth round, after which he was installed by the World Boxing Organization as its No. 15 rated super lightweight in the world.

WBO No. 8 ranked Alamo, fighting out of Puerto Rico, is coming off the only blemish on either fighter’s pro record, fighting to a draw withAntonio Moran (24-4-1).

Alamo, 24, is the former World Boxing Council (CMB) Youth World and FECARBOX super lightweight champion, who has made three successful NABO title defenses.

SANT ANTONI, TX (Desembre 17, 2019) – AMB super lightweight champion, Mario “El Azteca” Barris (25-0, 16 KOs), continues to receive accolades from his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Al setembre 28, 2019, Barrios defeated Batyr Akhmedov, winning the vacant WBA World Title, becoming the first world champion from Sant Antoni in the last 25 any.

Avui, Barrios was honored with a special recognition at the Commissioners Court. Commissioner Justin Rodriguez from Bexar County, Precinct 2, who sponsored the ceremony, was joined by his colleagues on Commissioners Court in San Antonio and presented Barrios with a proclamation.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the Commissioners Court here in my hometown of San Antonio,” said Barris. “It’s been a nice ride since winning my world title. I’ve been meeting some very influential people, and these are individuals that are making a difference in San Antonio. Today was incredible and I want to thank everyone for all their support.”

Barrios has been active in his community since becoming a world champion. A l'octubre, Barrios joined Palau de sabates and gave way shoes to thirty families at the Boys and Girls Club.

“I think being a positive role model is important, so I’m going to join forces with everyone, to help make San Antonio a better place for our youth,” Barris continued. “Building a strong community is what’s important at the end of the day, and I’ll be here to help out. Aviat, I’ll be having a big fight in San Antonio, and I’m going to make sure tickets are priced reasonable so everyone can come out and enjoy the fights. DAVIES ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES JAMES KIRKLAND CO-PROMOTIONAL DEAL WITH WARRIORS BOXING

Sant Antoni, Texas – Davies Entertainment is proud to announce that knockout artist James Kirkland (34-2, 30 KO) has signed a two year, six fight co-promotional deal with Warriors Boxing (who have worked on previous fight cards with the likes of PBC, Top Rank, Golden Boy, Etc) . After a four year layoff, Kirkland returned to the ring in August of 2019 and has won his first two fights convincingly by way of knockout.


Kirkland has been one of boxing’s most explosive fighters with his sights set on lining up a huge fight with major contenders in 2020 and gradually working his way back into world title contention. This deal will provide the vicious southpaw the opportunity of achieving that and more.


“My only goal has been to get back on top and with this kind of team surrounding me I feel like it’s only a matter of time before it happens,” said Kirkland.


Kirkland will be in attendance at tonight’s Terrence Crawford fight in New York.

SANT ANTONI, TX (Agost 5, 2019) – This past Saturday at the Alzafar Shrine in San Antonio, TX, Female lightweight contender, Selina “reina asteca” Barris va millorar a (6-1, 3 KOs) after knocking out Nina Gallegos with a vicious body shot just 42 seconds into round one. Supreme Boxing Promotions was the promoter.

“It was beautiful to see the fans of San Antoinio come out and support our boxing event last night. I wanted to make a statement with a knockout performance, and I was blessed to deliver it. The boxing community and fans in San Antonio are incredible. I’m hoping we can continue to bring more boxing shows to our great city.”

Barris, the NABF Lightweight champion is looking to get back on world title run.

“My focus now is landing a big fight with any top fighter in the super featherweight or lightweight division,” Barris continued. “My manager is working on a few things and my next fight will be announced sometime soon, hopefully against a big name.”

“We have plans for Selina to be in a big fight sometime in 2020,” dit Kerry Dangle, Barris’ co-manager. “I think she will be best suited if we can keep her busy, maybe one more tune up fight before we step her up again.”

MATAMOROS, MEXICO (Maig 30, 2019) – Prince Ranch Boxing’s 18-year-old featherweight sensation, Ricky Medina (3-0 2KOs) de Sant Antoni, Texas, will return to the ring this Friday for his fourth professional bout at The Casa Ahida Cafeteria Gourmet in Heroica Matamoros, Mèxic.


For Medina, who is promoted by TMB & PRB Entertainment, this will be his first time fighting outside of his home state of Texas, let alone the United States.

“I am very excited to fight for the first time in Mexico. Mexico has a lot of great world champions over the years including Juli Cèsar Chavez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Marc Antoni Barrera,Erik Morales and many more that I looked up to. For my promoter and manager to be able to put me in a situation to fight in such a boxing rich country and build fans out here, it is quite an honor.” said Medina about his upcoming fight on Friday night.


Medina, who faced an undefeated fighter in his last bout is looking to challenge himself in the professional game of boxing, early and often.

SANT ANTONI, TX (Abril 16, 2019) – Undefeated NABF Women’s lightweight champion, Selina “reina asteca” Barris (5-0, 2 KOs), returns to the ring April 27, 2019, contra l'ex campió del món, Melissa “The Shark” Hernández (22-7-3, 7 KOs). SANT ANTONI, TX (Desembre 1, 2018) – Last night at the Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, TX, TMB & PRB Entertainment i Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions, presented, “Whose ‘0’ Will Go 2”, on Kendo Castaneda (15-0, 7 KOs) captured the NABA super lightweight title with a unanimous decision victory Gilbert Venegas Jr. (10-1, 6 KOs), handing him his first loss as a professional.
In the early rounds, both fighters were having their moments, landing hard shots, but as the fight progressed, Castaneda started to get in a grove by going to the body. Venegas held his own but couldn’t get his punches off like he wanted too, and Castaneda started to take over the fight. In the later rounds, Castaneda was landing three punch combinations, while boxing from a distance, finishing the fight strong. At the end of the ten-round fight, Kendo was up big on the judge’s cards. Scorecards read 98-92, 99-91,100-90, all in favor of Castaneda.
6-Round Co-Main Event for Vacant ABF Middleweight Title
Local hero, Luey Villareal (4-0-1, 1 KO) captured the ABF middleweight title with a stunning TKO against Michael Klekotta (2-4, 1 KO). Villareal broke down Klekotta for the first three rounds before stopping him with a barrage of punches in the fourth round. The time was at the 1:20 marca.
4-Round Super Featherweight
18-year old sensation, Ricky Medina (2-0, 2 KOs), scored a second-round KO over Jorge De Leon (0-5). Medina landed a powerful uppercut in the middle of round two, sending De Leon to the canvas. He then followed with a devastating right hook to the temple, knocking out De Leon at the 2:58 marca.
4-Round Super Featherweight Bout
Xavier Wilson (9-0, 1 KO) remained undefeated with a unanimous decision victory against vs Gelacio Cruz (2-4-3, 1 KOs). Wilson used lateral movement to land his punches off angles.Scorecards read 40-36 dues vegades i 39-36 for Wilson.
4-Round Middleweight Bout
In a battle of hometown fighters, George Ramos (2-0, 1 KO) derrotat Steven Ramos (4-1, 1 KO) by way of unanimous decision. George Ramos landed the cleaner shots and was the aggressor. Scorecards read 40-36 dues vegades i 39-36 all in favor for George Ramos.
4-Round Middleweight Bout
Local native, Dagoberto Navarez (5-0, 1 KOs) scored a fourth-round majority decision overStetson Horne (0-3). Navarez was the aggressor, coming right at Horne from the opening bell, landing overhand rights. Horne had his moments but didn’t do enough to keep Navarez off him. Scorecards read 39-36 dues vegades, i 38-38 for Navarez.
4-Round Middleweight
In a battle of middleweight prospects, Washington Luiz (1-0, 1 KO), who was making his pro debut, scored a fourth round TKO against David Godley (1-1). Luiz was circling to his right, landing accurate counter punches throughout the fight. A right hook, straight left combo hurt Godly, knocking him out on his feet, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the .45 mark of round four.
4-Round Heavyweight
In his pro debut, Christopher Martinez (1-0, 1 KO) scored a second round TKO overMathew Glover (1-1), posar fi a la baralla en el 2:59 marca. A flurry of right hands sent Glover to the canvas and the referee waved off the bout after Glover was on wobbly legs.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Novembre 21, 2018) – Prince Ranch Boxing’s unbeaten heavyweight prospect, Kye Brooks (4-0, 3 KOs) torna al ring, Desembre 1, 2018, at The Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, Texas, as part of a stacked undercard for Kendo Castaneda (14-0, 7 KOs) vs. Gilbert Venegas Jr. (10-0, 6 KOs), co-promoted by TMB & PRB Entertainment and Roy Jones Jr. Promocions.

Brooks will be stepping up in competition to face Vaughn Parham (3-1 3KOs), who has won every bout in his professional career via knockout.

“I wanted a challenge, so I made sure I faced the toughest opponent possible,” said Kye Brooks, who resides in Las Vegas, and is trained by former two-time world champion Bones Adams. “Vaughn Parham is a kill or be killed type of fighter. He has tremendous power and it’s a dangerous fight. I took this challenge so that I can make a statement.”

This is Brooks’ toughest test to date as the New York native Parham is a heavy-handed slugger looking to pull off the upset.

At only 18-years old, Medina, who is a senior at Lanier High School in San Antonio, gives his thoughts on being a professional fighter while still attending high school.

 

 

 

“It’s great that I’m able to fight professionally while I’m still in high school, because I have a lot of friends that come to see me fight.” Medina continued. “I’m hoping to have a bunch of teachers attend as well. I’m starting to build up a nice fan base. I’m hoping it grows with each fight.”

SANT ANTONI, TX (Octubre 25, 2018) – Prince Ranch boxejador Daniel “La Bèstia” Baiz (12-1, 5 KOs), will return to action this Saturday, Octubre 27, 2018 at the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium in San Antonio, Texas. Baiz will face Leonardo Esquivel Carrizal (5-4-1, 2 KOs) in a 4-round bout and vowed to fight at welterweight by the start of 2019. This fight will be at a catch weight of 150 lliura.
