LOS ANGELES (Gener 13) - El desafiador va demostrar ser l'agressor quan Caleb Plant es va convertir en el campió del món de pes súper mitjà de l'IBF, derrotant a Jose Uzcategui a l'esdeveniment principal de la primera Premier Boxing Champions a l'esdeveniment FS1 i FOX Deportes de 2019, que va tenir lloc al Microsoft Theatre de L.A. “jo sabia que el vaig agafar net [quan vaig enderrocar a Uzcategui], però sabia que no ho era tot el camí, així que vaig prendre el meu temps,", va continuar Plant. "Em vaig quedar relaxat. Em vaig enganxar al pla de joc i ho vaig fer tal com vaig dir que ho faria.

“Això és aclaparador. Sóc un nen que venia del no-res. Vaig creure en mi mateix i ara He estat coronat rei. Ara, No estic pensant endavant. Jo només vull abraça aquest moment i submergeix-lo.” 

“Jo sentia que tenia l'avantatge de dirigir-me a la baralla,” va dir Uzcategui. “Jo va baixar perquè estava fora d'equilibri, però no em vaig fer mal. “I’m going to try to stay busy and get a fight every two months or so. My last fight was at the Olympics in Rio, but after this one I’ll be ready to stay in training throughout the year.
“I’ve known a lot of these other fighters here for a long time from all of the amateur tournaments. It’s nice to see us all coming together now as professionals. In the amateurs people pretty much stay with their own team, but this is the time for us to come together and learn from each other. It’s a great feeling to be a part this.
“Everyone knows a Carlos with a ‘C,’ so I wanted to stand out. As a professional and from here on out, I am going to be known as Karlos with a ‘K’.”
MISAEL RODRIGUEZ
“I feel very strong and I’m excited to get back in the ring. I’m hungry to fight and prove myself in this sport.
“I’m looking forward to being in big fights. I know that it takes time. I will get there eventually and become a world champion.
“I’ve known Abner Mares for a long time because he was a Mexican Olympian as well and it was an easy decision to have him help me with my career.
“I knew after the Olympics that it was time to turn pro. Growing up as a Mexican child, all I wanted was to be a world champion. I want to be a fan-favorite for Mexicans.
“Los Angeles is like a second Mexico. It will feel like Mexico to me. I know that I will have a lot of fans coming from my hometown [Chihuahua, Mèxic] to support me. I’m excited to work with Richard and put on more great fights.”

“I was very excited and eager when I first heard about the opportunity to train with Freddie Roach. I came out to California as soon as I could to start training.

LOS ANGELES (Març 22, 2017) – A host of newly-signed Trucar Star Sports talent will take the stage and make their professional debuts in separate bouts that make up a stacked undercard on Diumenge, Abril 9 from The Novo at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles.
The decorated amateurs who will turn pro in separate four-round bouts are 2016 Medallista de bronze olímpic Missad Rodrigues, who enters the ring in a middleweight clash, top-rated U.S. amateur Money Powell IV, whowill compete in a super welterweight bout, 2016 Olímpic lituà Eimantas Stanionis, whofights in a welterweight attraction and 2016 Mexicà olímpic Lindolfo Delgado, whowill battle in lightweight action.

Additional action will see former world title challenger and Los Angeles-native Maricela Cornejo (6-2, 2 KOs) in a six-round super middleweight bout. The 29-year-old lost a narrow split decision in a middleweight world title fight against Kali Reis last April in New Zealand. Cornejo picked up two wins in the last three months of 2016 and will return seeking another world title opportunity on April 9.
Rounding out the night of fights will be former world title challenger Roberto Marroquin(25-4-1, 18 KOs) in a super featherweight bout, plus exciting prospect Alejandro Guerrero(2-0, 1 KO) en un combat a sis assalts.

Ringstar Sports Adds 2016 Mexican Olympian Lindolfo Delgado to Stable of Exciting Prospects

LOS ANGELES (Gener 25, 2017) – Another top amateur standout has joined forces with Trucar Star Sports to launch his pro career as 2016 Mexicà olímpic Lindolfo Delgado has signed with the Los Angeles-based promotional company.

Born in Linares, Nou Lleó, Mèxic, the 22-year-old began his boxing career in 2004 a l'edat de 10. He worked his way up the amateur circuit in Mexico before breaking through by winning a silver medal at the 2010 Junior Mexican National Olympiad. He followed that up with a bronze at the 2011 Youth Mexican National Olympiad and with a championship winning-performance at the 2012 Mexican National Olympiad.
He continued to impress by picking up a gold medal at the 2014 Pan-American Sports Festival and silver medals at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games and the 2015 Jocs Panamericans. He would go on to capture gold at the 2016 American Olympic Qualification event and stamp his ticket to the Rio 2016 games to represent Mexico.
“The Olympics were a beautiful experience for me,” said Delgado. “I learned that you can’t hold anything back. Every time that I compete, I know that I have to leave it all in the ring. I’m going to do everything I can to take advantage of every opportunity I get.”
The lightweight compiled a 139-15 amateur record that included victories over former world champion Amnat Ruenroeng and 2016 U.S. Olympian and fellow Ringstar stablemate Carlos Balderas. Delgado currently trains in Tijuana under Pedro Moran.
“I’m going to work hard to reach my full potential as a fighter,” said Delgado. “I have an elegant style that is full of passion. Mexican legends are popular because they are warriors. I am going to model my style after them and use it to conquer the sport.”
Lindolfo Delgado is the latest addition to the growing stable of Ringstar fighters that already includes: 2016 U.S. Olympian Carlos Balderas and his brother, National Golden Gloves champion Jose Balderas, 2016 Super Heavyweight Gold Medalist Tony Yoka, 2016 Bronze Medalist Misael Rodriguez, 2016 Lithuanian Olympian Eimantas Stanionis and top-ranked amateur Money Powell IV.
