BOX FAN EXPO INVITATIONAL 2018
Several highly-ranked and top fighters from the USA Boxing amateur program will receive a special invitation to take part at the Inaugural Box Fan Expo Invitational 2018, to compete and have a chance to FACEOFF against the best in their division. The Invitational will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center during the Box Fan Expo on Saturday, September 15th, Mexican Independence Day Weekend and on the same day as the Canelo vs GGG rematch that will take place later that evening at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas.

WHO WILL WATCH?
Thousands of boxing fans that will attend the Expo, as well as many boxing media outlets, gezin, vrienden, and more importantly a chance to get showcased their skills in front of top boxing companies like Mayweather Promotions, sanctioning bodies like the WBC and the WBA, top Boxing Managers, kleding & gear brands such as adidas Boxing, Cleto Reyes, Kronk Boksen, Fight Label and top boxing stars such as Andre Ward, Errol Spence Jr., Mikey Garcia, Badou Jack, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez to name a few.

The Fernando Vargas Fighting Foundation was established by former world champion Fernando Vargas and his wife Martha Vargas and strategically opened its doors in the City of North Las Vegas as they saw that there was a great need to help kids get off the streets and offer them a safe haven. Las Vegas (Juli 3, 2018) – Three Time World Champion Jessie Vargas has confirmed that he will appear and hold a Meet & Greet with his fans at the Congrescentrum van Las Vegas for the fourth Annual Box Fan Expo op Zaterdag september 15, 2018 uit 10 AM TO 5 PM, during Mexican Independence weekend. The Boxing Expo will also coincide with the highly anticipated rematch between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez vs Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin, dat zal later die avond plaatsvinden.

 

 

 

Vargas will once again appear at this year’s Expo where he will be signing gloves, photos and merchandise at the Box Fan Expo storefront booth from 11 Ben voor 1 PM. Boxing fans will also have a great opportunity to take pictures with this boxing star. Vargas just came off from a spectacular performance in a mega fight that resulted in a draw versus Adrien Broner this past April at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

 

 

 

Vargas is a Mexican American professional boxer who is a former two-weight world champion, nadat hij de WBA had gehouden (Normaal) and IBO super lightweight titles in 2014 and the WBO welterweight title in 2016.

Morales will have merchandise to sell to his fans, as well as photos, signatures and memorabilia. This is Morales first appearance at the Boxing Expo and is looking forward in meeting his fans.

 

 

 

Erik Morales Nicknamed “De Verschrikkelijke,” is a retired Mexican boxing legend and is being inducted into the International Boxing Hall of fame in Canastota on June 10th, 2018).Morales compiled a 52-9 opnemen in 61 gevechten, inclusief 41 straight wins to start his career, and won world titles in four different weight classes (junior vedergewicht, vedergewicht, junior lichtgewicht, junior weltergewicht). He also ended Manny Pacquiao’s six-year unbeaten streak in 2005 with a unanimous decision win.

 

 

 

Morales notable fights came against Marco Antonio Barrera (nicknamed “De Baby Face Assassin”). The Morales versus Barrera trilogy is one of Boxing’s most famous fight trilogies of all time, involving two of Mexico’s most revered boxers. Their memorable fights were also named Ring Magazine’s fight of the year on February 19, 2000 and once again on November 27, 2004.

Fernando Vargas, is een gepensioneerde Amerikaanse bokser van Mexicaanse afkomst en 3 Time world champion with a Pro record of 31 wins 5 verliezen en 22 KO's. He who won a bronze medal as an amateur at the 1995 Pan American Games in Mar del Plata. Zijn bijnamen omvatten “Woest”, “De Aztec Warrior” en “El Feroz”. Vargas was the youngest open national champion at 16 yrs old. The youngest boxing Olympian at 18yrs old and holds the record in boxing history as the youngest to become jr. middleweight champion at 21 jaar oud.

 

 

 

Some of Fernando’s notable wins came against 5 world champions which includes, Raul Marquez, Yori Boy Campus, Ike Quartey, Javier Castillejo and Winky Wright. Las Vegas (November 28, 2018) – After another successful event this past May over the Cinco de Mayo weekend, Box Fan Expo organizers are excited to announce the fourth annual Box Fan Expo, returning once again at the Congrescentrum van Las Vegas op May 5th, 2018.

Over the traditional and special Cinco de Mayo weekend which saw Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez battle with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., at the T-Mobile stadium in Las Vegas in 2017, the Box Fan Expo also took place, opening its doors to boxing fans from all over the world.
From Las Vegas, the boxing mecca of the world, enthusiastic fans from all over were able to meet and greet some of their favourite fighters, zowel in het verleden en heden. In addition to meeting their favourite fighters fans were also able to meet with the people behind such amazing organizations like Premier Boxing Champions, Mayweather Promotions, World Boxing Council, World Boxing Association, Supreme Boxing, The Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame, Feroz Fight Factory, Kronk Boksen, The American Boxing Association and many others.
The lucky fans who stayed throughout the full event had quite a treat with a special appearance by Floyd Mayweather Jr. who took time out of his busy schedule to honour the Box Fan Expo with an impromptu appearance towards the end of the show to support the Mayweather Promotions Team.
To Brandon Rios doing face-offs with fans to Shawn Porter, Marcos Maidana, Tommy Hearns, Fernando Vargas, Badou Jack, Jorge Linares, Jessie Vargas, Joel Casamayor, Kevin Kelley, Ishe Smith, Kevin Newman, Sharif Bogere, Neno Rodriguez, Mia St. John, Christy Martin, Jelena Mrdjenovich, Jezus Cuellar, sticking around to take care of each and every one of their fans — the Box Fan Expo truly delivered the ultimate fan experience event that they’re known for.
Many boxing personalities as well as current and former world champions showed up at the Expo, such as Marco Antonio Barrera, Abner Mares, Danny Jacobs, Rances Barthelemy, Hugo Centeno, Jeff Mayweather, J'Leon Liefde, Hasim Rahman, Gold Cup, Chris Arreola, Maricela cornejo, Ava Knight, Humberto ‘Chiquita’ Gonzalez, Alfredo Angulo, Richard Steele, Kenny Bayloos, Dontae Williams (DBN), Elie Seckbach and many many more…
Hall of Fame Broadcaster Al Bernstein did an incredible job conducting interviews on the main stage with boxing celebrities for fans to enjoy.
Our house dj, DJ Todd, kept the music flowing, along with our Ring Card Girls — Rose, Rochelle, Starr, Karla, and Shayla — who entertained, interacted and took pictures with all the fans.
Throughout the next several months leading up to the event, there will be updates and info on the many stars that will commit their appearance at the Box Fan Expo in 2018.

Las Vegas (Maart 28, 2017) – 2-Time world champion and Olympic Gold Medal winner, Yuriorkis Gamboa has confirmed that he will appear and have a booth to Meet & Begroet zijn fans op de Congrescentrum van Las Vegas voor de 3e editie van Box Fan Expo dat zal plaatsvinden Zaterdag mei 6, 2017 tijdens Cinco De Mayo weekend. The Boxing Expo will also coincide with the mega fight between Canelo Alvarez vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, dat zal later die avond plaatsvinden.
Gamboa will appear for the first time at this years’ Expo en zullen handschoenen signeren, photos and selling merchandise. Fans will have an opportunity to take pictures with the former world champion and Olympic Gold medalist.
He will be raising money for an amazing woman named Ivonne Lugo, who suffers from PKD, an inherited chronic kidney disease. She is in urgent need of a liver and kidney transplant. Gamboa is generously using his time and effort to fundraise in hoping to save her life. Please go to Https://ivonnes.fund and help out this great cause.
Gamboa joins the list of over 50 current and past World Champions boxers who have appeared at the Expo, meeting their fans in person.
Gamboa is a Cuban professionele bokser. He is a former unified vedergewicht wereldkampioen, having held the WBA title from 2009 naar 2011, en de IBF title from 2010 naar 2011. As an amateur he won a gold medal in the vlieggewicht division at the 2004 Olympische Spelen, and bronze in the featherweight division at the 2005 Wereldkampioenschappen.

Hearns meer plaats bekend als “De Hitman”, werd de eerste bokser in de geschiedenis om wereldtitels te winnen in vier divisies. Hij zou ook de eerste vechter in de geschiedenis te worden tot vijf wereldtitels te winnen in vijf verschillende divisies. Hearns werd uitgeroepen tot Ring Magazine-jager van het jaar 1980 en 1984 en is vooral bekend om zijn gevechten met Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler en Roberto Duran. Las Vegas (Maart 2, 2017) – Kronk Boksen & Sylvia Steward-Williams (Emanuel Steward’s daughter) has confirmed that they will appear and have a booth at the Congrescentrum van Las Vegas voor de 3rd edition of Box Fan Expo dat zal plaatsvinden Zaterdag mei 6, 2017 tijdens Cinco De Mayo weekend. Kronk Boxing will have the famous Kronk merchandise and apparel to sell to the boxing fans.
Founder of the Kronk gym and legendary trainer Emanuel Steward would have been proud of participating once again at this years’ Expo as he was one of the first to believe a Boxing Expo was long overdue and that it would be a huge success with fans and boxing industry people.
When Emanuel Steward first heard about the Box Fan Expo, he stated: “If you want to have a Boxing Expo, you got to do it big; and to do it big you need to go to Vegas. This is a boxing Fan’s dream.”
The legendary Kronk Gym made famous around the world by the late Emanuel Steward who produced a string of world champions including, Lennox Lewis, Wladimir Klitschko and Hall of Famer Thomas Hearns. Kronk closed its doors afterSteward’s death on October 25th, 2012. After three years of hard work and dedication the Kronk reopen the famous gym this past Memorial Day weekend.
“It took a lot of work,” said Steward-Williams, owner of Kronk Boxing/Sportswear. “It’s a labor of love, and it was my father’s legacy.

Las Vegas (Februari 15, 2017) – Former WBC women’s champion Mijn “De Knockout” St. John en Christy “The Coal Miner’s Daughter” Martin has confirmed that they will historically appear and share a booth together to Meet & Begroet hun fans op de Congrescentrum van Las Vegas voor de 3e editie van Box Fan Expo dat zal plaatsvinden Zaterdag mei 6, 2017 tijdens Cinco De Mayo weekend. De Boxing Expo zal ook samenvallen met het megagevecht tussen Canelo Alvarez en Julio Cesar Chavez jr., dat zal later die avond plaatsvinden.
Martin and St.John are some of the most decorated and famous female professional boxers of all-time. St John was promoted by Bob Arum while Martin was promoted by rival Promoter Don King. They are both former WBC world champions and gained popularity by appearing on some of the biggest undercards in boxing history that were headlined by Mike Tyson with Christy Martin and Oscar De La Hoya with Mia St.John. Further St.John also has appeared on the cover of Playboy Magazine, while Martin appeared on Sports illustrated.

Mia St.John has done countless charity work for different organizations. She founded “El Saber Es Poder/Knowledge Is Power” to empower our youth by providing educational material, equipment and development of Health & Wellness programs. Op november 23, 2014, Mia’s son Julian who was a talented artist, overleed op de leeftijd van 24 after battling Schizophrenia and addiction. In 2015, Mia was named by CNN, “Mental Health Warrior”, along with eight other inspiring people.

Christy Martin on the other hand battled her way back from a November 23, 2010 Stabbing and being shot by her husband who is now serving time in prison for attempted murder. Today Martin is the President and founder of Pink Promotions, a boxing promoting company and is considered by the WBC as the Emeritus Champion. She also formed a non-profit organization called Christy’s Champs, which supports domestic violence as well as other domestic issues.
