North American Boxing Association (Ook) United States lightweight champion Reynaldo “De trampoline” Blanco (13-2, 7 KO) defends his title in the 10-round main event against Demond “Lichaamsschot” Brock (12-3-1, 4 KO), in de 10-round main event.
“Let it be clear,” Blanco said. “November 18th in Las Vegas, the world and my opponent will witness the fury of the Dominican from Matancita, Reynaldo Blanco, who is here to conquer the lightweight division. Let the war begin!”

Keeping with its goal to showcase young talent based in Las Vegas, junior flyweight Jachthaven “Rotsachtig” Ramirez (2-0), fighting out of Idaho, meets the Bronx’ Natalie Gonzalez (2-0), while pro-debuting cruiserweight Jason Beauchamp faces Puerto Rican Kenny Cruz-Carrasquillo (0-2-1), in a pair of 4-round bouts.
Ook, fighting on the undercard in a 4-rounder is Roy Jones, Jr. beschermd Schaduwrijke Gamhour, a Swede fighting out of Pensacola, Florida, tegen David De La Cruz, Los Angeles, in a fight between pro-debuting middleweights. The 29-year-old Blanco, fighting out of the Dominican Republic by way of Puerto Rico, captured his NABA US title belt this past January, taking an 8-round unanimous decision from previously unbeaten Angel Luis Ocasio (8-0-2). In his last fight in July, Blanco stopped another undefeated challenger, 14-0 Mario Beltre, in the second round for the Dominican Republic lightweight championship.
New Orleans-native Brock, who learned how to box serving a 15-year prison sentence, verslagen Chuy Gutiérrez (14-0-1) in the June 10th “Knockout Night at the D” show to retain his World Boxing Council (WBC) United States lightweight title in his first title defense. Brock, 35, originally captured his title belt in 2015, by way of an 8-round unanimous decision over Oscar Valenzuela (9-1-1).

 LAS VEGAS (Augustus 30, 2016) – In a classic match-up of contrasting styles, Rolando “Rol” Garza en Neeco “De Haan” Macia's will both put their undefeated records on the line in the “Knockout Night at the D” 8-round co-featured event, luchten Vrijdag nacht, September 9, op CBS Sports Network, live from the outdoor Centrum van Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC).

Garza and Macias (12-0, 6 KO), who will be fighting for the vacant WBC – US junior middleweight championship, are exact opposites in and out of the ring. The winner will advance to the next level of competition in the 154-pound division.
A technically sound boxer, Garza had an extensive amateur background as a member of the Mexican National Team, eindigen met een 120-12 record, before turning pro September 29, 2012. The quiet, unassuming fighter 24-year-old was impressive in his last fight, also at the DLVEC this past Juni 10, in which he dominated previously unbeaten Erasmo garcia (5-0-1) on his way to an 6-round unanimous decision (59-54, 59-54, 58-56) overwinning.
“The opportunity that Roy Jones Jr Boxing Promotions and CBS Sports Network has presented me has boosted my confidence to another level,” Garza said. “I have never been more confident in my skills, my team and training. I’m going to show Las Vegas and the rest of country what my talent brings into the ring. In the other corner, the non-stop Macias relies on conditioning and an aggressive, always coming forward approach to break down his opponent. The 25-year-old Macias, fighting out of Palm Desert, Californië, unlike Garza, who now lives and trains in Austin (TX), had only 30 amateur bouts having started boxing at the relative advanced age of 21. He did win gold medals at the National Blue & Gold Tournament, as well as Central California Golden Gloves and Desert Showdown. Macias is a showman, playing to the crowd before, during and after fights, crowing like a rooster, always with a broad smile on his face.
Macia's’ last fight, also at the DLVE this past April 16, resulted in an action-packed fight against Limberth Ponce(10-2). Never tasking his foot off the pedal, Macias rolled to a win by 8-round unanimous decision (79-73 X 3), earning him a legion of new fans who were in attendance or watched the fight on CBS Sports Network. “Fighters don’t really care who they fight, they just want to fight,” Macias explained why his risking his undefeated record against an opponent who has never loss. “I had a fight fall through so, instead of waiting for another fight, when the opportunity to fight a 9-0 guy came, my coaches watched film of him and we agreed that I’m ready. This is the first time I’m fighting on the ‘B’ side, but we’re using that as motivation. I take one fight at a time but I know I’m fighting on TV and need to look good. I want to show everyone that all the hard work has paid off.
“I see this fight as my opponent probably having more skill, he’s technically sound and sets up his shots. But our plan is to take him out of his game plan, wear him down and have some fun doing it. My last fight was my first in Las Vegas and first time fighting on national television. It got a lot of notice. I’ve been through all of that now and will be even better prepared for this fight. It’s awesome fighting in Las Vegas on CBS Sports Network!”

“Ik denk dat ik een geweldige prestatie heb geleverd,” Brock gaf commentaar na het gevecht. “Ik kwam naar buiten om mijn uiterste best te doen. We hebben getraind om binnen te vechten om tegen Chuy te vechten, geen doos, om hem ongemakkelijk te maken in een gevecht dat hij niet gewend is. Ik heb dit gevecht van binnen gewonnen. Geen back-up voor 10 harde rondes. We hebben ons op die manier voorbereid omdat we wisten dat Chuy zou komen en schoten zou gooien. Maar hij had nog nooit met iemand van mijn kaliber gevochten. Ik wilde hem afmaken, maar ik wilde niet onzorgvuldig worden.”
In een strijd van ongeslagen junior middengewicht, Mexicaanse indringer Rolando “Rol” Garza (9-0, 6 KO) en het Amerikaanse. Veteraan van het Korps Mariniers Erasmus “De afrekening” Garcia (5-1-1, 3 KO) een show opvoeren in de co-feature op televisie. Nichols won his third fight in the last three months, “I can go next week,” Nichols said after the fight. “He was tall fighter who was undefeated. He didn’t come here to lose. I take my hat off to him because I hit him with some great shots. He is a tough guy with a big heart. I had to do the Ali Shuffle in the first round because he was my favorite fighter.”
Los Angeles heavyweight Johnathan “Johnnie” Rijst (4-1, 2 KO), een voormalig Winthrop College (NC) basketbalspeler, upset 4-time Mexican National amateur champion Edgar “El Chato” Ramirez (1-1, 1 KO), pitching a shutout for a unanimous 4-round decision.

 LAS VEGAS (Juni 7,, 2016) – Some of morgen stars will be showcased deze vrijdag night at the third installment of the “Knockout Night at the D” serie, luchten (11 p.m. EN/ 8 p.m. PT) live op CBS Sports Network van buitenaf Centrum van Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC).
An old-time grudge match between WBC United States (USNBC) lichtgewicht kampioen Demond “Lichaamsschot” Brock (11-3-1, 4 KO) and former USNBC titlist Chuy “Orkaan” Gutierrez (14-0-1, 4 KO) headlines the card in the 10-round main event.

The TV opener finds a pair of unbeaten welterweight prospects, Las Vegas’ populair Jeremy “J-Flash” Nichols (4-0, 2 KO) and New Mexico’s Adam Vasquez (5-0-1), squaring off in a 4-round bout.
Also fighting on the undercard in 4-rounders are Las Vegas’ pro-debuterende Max Ornelas vs. San Antonio, Texas junior featherweight Robert Ledesma (1-4), 4-time Mexican National Champion Edgar Ramirez (1-0, 1 KO) vs. Los Angeles heavyweight Jonathan Rijst (3-1, 2 KO), en zwaargewicht uit Los Angeles Cashton Jong (2-0, 1 KO) vs. Tracey Johnson (3-2-4), Boston.
