World Ranked Yenifel Vicente Motivated To Face World Champion Isaac Dogboe

The explosive World Boxing Organization (OMB) Interim Latino Jr. Featherweight champion, Yenifel “El Rayo” Vicente (33-3-2, 25 KOs), de la República Dominicana, is hopeful that he’ll face WBO world champion Isaac Dogboe (20-0, 14 KOs) de Ghana.

 

 

 

“I’m ready for a world title fight against the WBO world champion Dogboe. If we face each other, it will be a Fight Of The Year candidate because of our aggressive styles. We both like to go there and expect a war, and at the same time, we are not afraid of it. What better way than to give the fans an intense war? “If I have to fight in Ghana, United States or in England, which is where Dogboe trains, I’m more than available to do it. I’m always available!”, exclaimed Vicente, who trains in Puerto Rico, under the supervision of Freddy Trinidad, and Yoel González at the Caimito Boxing Gym, located in the capital city, Sant Joan.

 

 

 

Vicente has eight wins in a row by way of knockout, which includes the Knockout of the Year in the Premier Boxing Championship over the favorite and then undefeated Juan “Baby Tito” Domínguez, who was knocked out in the 3rd round.

 

 

 

In his penultimate bout, held in April in Colombia, Vicente was crowned WBO Interim Latino Champion after defeating via 4th round technical knockout the local Walberto Ramos. A l'agost passat, Vicente successfully defended his title by knocking out Mexican Andrés García in the second round in Panamá.

Undefeated Junior Featherweight Powerhouse Arnold Khegai Returns to Action on August 19

Undefeated junior featherweight Arnold Khegai (12-0-1, 8 KOs), the ethnic Korean, Ukrainian-born strongman, will return to action on Sunday, Agost 19, at the Korston Club Hotel Moscow, a Moscou, Russia in a 10-round showdown with Uganda’s Remmy Igga (12-5, 6 KOs).

 

 

 

The IBF #15-rated Khegai wowed the boxing world in May of this year, with a dominant unanimous decision over well-respected contender Adam Lopez, en directe a Showtime. With excellent hand speed and the strength of a middleweight, Khegai is poised to make his presence felt on the world stage in a championship fight.

Salita Signs Promotional Deal with Undefeated Ukrainian Junior Featherweight Arnold Khegai

Dmitriy Salita of Salita Promotions proudly announces the signing of undefeated Korean Ukrainian junior featherweight prospect Arnold Khegai.

From the town of Razdelnoye in the region of Odessa, in the Ukraine, Khegai (11-0-1, 8 KOs) was last seen ripping away the undefeated record of then 11-1 Russian prospect Valery Tretyakov via last-second tenth-round KO.
“I really want to win over the audience in the US with my exciting style and my physical strength and endurance,” said the 25-year-old Khegai. “I am ready and willing to fight the best fighters in my weight class; anyone who stands in my path of getting a world title belt.”
Khegai switched over from being a world champion Thai boxer to a professional boxer in 2015 and has torn through a stiff level of domestic competition along the way.
Married with a degree from the Institute of Food Academy, Khegai says the deal with his promoter will set all of his dreams in motion. “I am very excited about signing this deal with Salita,” va continuar. “Now that I have time to properly prepare, my goal is to fight my way through the 122-lb division and become undisputed world champion.

Serrano, the WBO 122-pound titlist, and Rivas, the WBC International champion at super bantamweight, will fight for the WBO title and the prestigious WBC Diamond championship in a bout that promises intense action from start to finish. Rivas had previously successfully defended her bantamweight world title four times after winning the belt against Alesia Graf in 2014. Her prior run as a bantamweight champion lasted for five defenses after she defeated previously unbeaten Susie Ramadan to win that belt. These extended championship runs came after she became a flyweight world champion in 2005 by defeating Lucia Avalos.

 

An Olympian who represented his native Ukraine, Khytrov also won an Amateur World Championship before turning pro in 2013. Brand-New IBF Junior Featherweight Champion Jonathan Guzman to be Ringside Friday at Foxwoods

IBF Junior Featherweight Champion Jonathan “Salomon Rei” Guzmán (22-0, 22 KOs) won’t be taking any time to rest on his newly acquired laurels.
The Dominican KO artist won his first world championship yesterday (Dimecres, Juliol 20) by stopping former #1 contender Shingo Wake in 11 brutal rounds in Osaka, Japó. Guzman’s power was simply too much for Wake, who fell four times before the end came at 2:16 from merciful referee Wayne Hedgpeth.
The iron-fisted Dominican could easily spend the rest of the summer celebrating the victory, but has no intention to do so.
He is quickly flying home from Japan in order to be ringside demà (Divendres, Juliol 22) al Foxwoods Resort a Mashantucket, Connecticut, to watch San Antonio’s Adam Lopez face Argentina’s Roman Ruben Reynoso on ShoBox: La Nova Generació.
Guzman’s intention is to face the winner of that fight in his first title defense.
