Promoters Team Up to Present World-Class Night of Boxing in Guadalajara, Mèxic, de febrer 11

En Dissabte, Febrer 11, at Jalisco Guadalajara Arena in Guadalajara, Mèxic, a trio of well-established promoters, Eddie Reynoso of Clase y Talento Boxeo, Eric Gomez of Golden Boy Promotions and Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing, will team up to present a night of world-class boxing featuring some of Latin America’s future champions.
The event will be presented in association with and broadcast by RingTV.com and TyC Sports of Argentina for the 25th anniversary of their popular Boxeo De Primera to most of North and South America.
In the explosive 10-round main event, Buenos Aires, Argentina’s undefeated Juan Jose “El Pitbull” Velasco (14-0, 8 KOs) will defend his WBA Fedebol Welterweight Championship against once-beaten Fernando “El Cacho” Marin (13-1-3, 9 KOs) de Monterrey, Mèxic.
In the eight-round super featherweight co-main event, Córdoba, Argentina’s Jose Matias Romero (12-0, 5 KOs) will take on Guadalajara’s Bernardo “Benny” Gomez Uribe (18-6, 11 KOs).
On the exciting undercard will be a six-round lightweight scrap between Los Mochis, México’s Jairo “Palanqueta” Llanes (9-1-1, 8 KOs) facing Emmanuel “El Guerrer” Valenzuela (4-5, 2 KOs) of Ciudad Obregón, Mèxic; and eight-round heavyweight battle featuring Guadalajara’s undefeated Filiberto “Chiquilín” Tovar (5-0, 2 KOs) taking on Lawrence Elizondo (8-1, 3 KOs) de Monterrey, Mèxic; 1 “all Guadalajara” six-round super featherweight bout between Heliodoro Napoles (2-2, 1 KOs) and Carlos Mauricio Rochas (1-2).
Five four-round bouts will open the show, featuring super featherweights Alexander Villa (3-0, 3 KOs) of Guadalajara and Zapopan, Mexico’s Hugo Barajas (0-2); featherweights Jair Campos (1-0, 1 KO) de Tepic, Nayarit and Guadalajara’s Leonardo Cervantes (1-8); as well as three more “All Guadalajara” match-ups, including junior middleweights Oscar Larios (Pro Debut) and Juan Carlos González (Pro Debut); welterweights Walter Loera (1-0, 1 KO) and Angel Fernando Lambarena (0-1); and lightweights Jose Manuel Garcia (1-0, 1 KOs) and Luis Guzman (0-1).

En un combat de sis rondes de pes súper mitjà Farah Ennis (21-2, 12 Nocauts) farà el seu retorn al ring després d'a 22 mes de pausa quan assumeix el càrrec Michael Gbenga (20-19, 20 Nocauts)
Ennis, que va ser vist per última vegada deixant una decisió unànime de 10 rondes davant el nou campió del pes súper mitjà del CMB, Badou Jack, busca tornar a la lluita amb una gran sortida sobre el veterà de Ghana.
“La capacitació ha estat bona. Només sé que Gbenga és de Ghana,” va dir l'Ennis.

Frank De Alba headlines against Bernardo Gomez Uribe this Friday at Stadium Holiday Inn Philadelphia

Hostal a Filadèlfia, King's Promotions presenta una gran nit de boxa que serà encapçalada per 10 rondes Jr. Combat lleuger entre Frankie DeAlba (15-1-2, 5 Nocauts) i Bernardo Gomez Uribe (14-3, 10 Nocauts).
D'Alba de la Lectura, PA has been one of the hottest fighters on the East Coast as he has won 13 straight bouts and is unbeaten since dropping his professional debut in 2011.
La 27 year-old is coming into his own and has been training hard in preparation for this bout against Uribe.
“La capacitació ha estat gran. Em sento 100% and this truly has been one of the best camps I have ever had. I really feel like I am in the best shape in my career,” va dir De Alba.
Like two of his last three opponents, Jose Bustos and Pablo Batres, Uribe is a tough yet unknown fighter from Mexico who sports a solid record.
“He is a unknown guy with a decent record. A part d'això, I don’t know much about him but that doesn’t matter as I train for any style that he may bring.”
De Alba is on the cusp of some big fights in the Jr. Lightweight division and he can’t look past Uribe to get those opportunities.

De Alba, who works in an warehouse foundry, knows that the next year is a moving year and those big fights are on the horizon.
“I know that in the next fight or two, I will be put in against another top prospect and I am confident that I have what it takes to come through against anybody. I am excited to be in the main event in Philadelphia. This is my first fight here and I am ready to put on a good show.”

Hostal a Filadèlfia, King’s Promotions presents a great night of championship boxing that will headlined by 10-round UBF Lightweight championship bout between Frankie DeAlba (15-1-2, 5 Nocauts) i Bernardo Gomez Uribe (14-3, 10 Nocauts).
In one of the 8-round co-features, Steve Upsher Chambers (24-4-1, 6 Nocauts) returns to the city where he cut his teeth as a professional to take on Alejandro Rodríguez (24-16-1, 14 Nocauts) en un Jr. Baralla de pes welter.
Chambers, who came originally to Philadelphia with former Heavyweight title challenger, “Ràpid” Eddie Chambers, lluitat 23 times and the famed Blue Horizon in Philadelphia and will be making his first start in the City of Brotherly Love in almost 6 any.
“I have been training hard and working on opening my new gym with (contendent de pes lleuger) Rod Salka,” said Upsher.
“I am on weight already and I feel good. We will be fighting at 142 lliures.”
Upsher is ready to show the fans how far his abilities have grown since he turned pro in Philadelphia in 2003 quan tenia només 18 anys.
“I am happy to be coming back to Philadelphia. I want to show people how far I have come and see the improvement that I have made as a fighter.”
Despite losing his three bouts to the likes of former world champions Luis Collazo and Andre Berto as well as then-undefeated prospect Eddie Gomez, Upsher was competitive in all those bouts and grew tremendously from those experiences.
“It showed that I can compete against that level of fighter. Plus everyone of those guys was bigger than me. Jo sóc una persona física 140 pounder and can make 135 if the right opportunity presented itself.”
Chambers went back to his native Pittsburgh to train in neighboring city Coal Center, Pennsilvània.
“My mind is set on winning a world title at 140 lliura. After the three losses, I cant afford any missteps. People see about the losses. I know I have the ability to be a world champion and on Maig 29 that will start to show.”
On the veteran opponent, Rodríguez, Upsher said, “I know he is tough and from Mexico. I will look at a little film before the fight and go from there. I really don’t worry about what he will do. He should worry about me. This fight is redemption for me. It’s a start and then I would like to right all of the losses. But first I am looking for a dominant performance el divendres then I want to end all doubts.”

He has made two defenses of the belt which includes his last outing when he won an 8-round unanimous decision over Jose Bustos on Febrer 21.
Uribe of Guadalajara, Mèxic compta amb un registre de 14-3 amb 10 nocauts.
La 25 year-old has won six in a row with the latest being a 7th round stoppage over Antonio Sanchez on April 19.

This will be the 32 year-old Ennis first bout in 22 mesos. He has wins over Scott Sigmon (1-0), Bobby Jordan (6-0-1), Heroi El Amin (11-2), Richard Pierson (11-2) and Anthony Hanshaw (23-2-2). Ennis captured the NABF Super Middleweight title with a win over Victor Lares. Ennis coming off a loss to current WBC Super Middleweight champion Badou Jack on July 19, 2013.
Gbenga of Accra, Ghana té un registre de 20-19 with all 20 wins coming via knockouts.

Upsher of Philadelphia has a record of 24-4-1 amb sis nocauts.
