“Il n'y a pas eu de formation de distractions dans Big Bear. C'est parfait. Il n'y a que quelques ours et crotales. C'est aussi loin que les distractions.

 

 

 

“J'ai un grand entraîneur plein d'avenir et il va me avoir prêt à relever le défi.

 

 

 

“Je porte ce short funky dans un grand public et je les portais aujourd'hui parce qu'ils représentent une société appelée Oddballs, et chaque centime dépensé sur ce pantalon va à la recherche pour lutter contre le cancer des testicules. Un de mes amis a traversé récemment, et je veux sensibiliser la population pour lui et cette cause.”

This will be the third fight for each Charlo twin at Barclays Center, as they enter December 22 a combined 4-0 with four knockouts at the venue.

 

 

 

The 28-year-old Jermall Charlo (27-0, 21 KOs) is one-minute older than his identical twin brother and won his first world title a year earlier than Jermell when he scored a devastating third round knockout of Cornelius Bundrage to win the IBF 154-pound title in 2015. Born in Richmond, Texas and growing up in Houston with Jermell, Jermall still trains in Houston with renowned coach Ronnie Shields. He successfully defended his 154-pound title three times, including a devastating knockout of top contender Julian Williams, before moving up in weight to campaign at middleweight.

 

 

 

Jermall proved to be just as dominant at 160 pounds as he was at 154 pounds when he made his middleweight debut by stopping Jorge Sebastian Heiland in the fourth round of their July 2017 bout. Jermall became the interim WBC middleweight champion with a second round knockout victory over Hugo Centeno, Jr. in his last fight on March 3.

 

 

 

“I’m very excited and the fire is lit to be back in Brooklyn,” said Jermall Charlo. “It’s great to be headlining a big show with my twin brother in Brooklyn. It’s going to be an exciting night of boxing. Willie Monroe is one of those fighters that will get me to the level I need to for all those great fights. And believe me, we’ll get them. The 31-year-old Willie Monroe, Jr. (23-3. 6 KOs) has shown the skills to compete at the elite level, but the slick southpaw will face a tough challenge when he goes up against the hard-hitting Charlo. Fighting out of Rochester, N. Y., Monroe will be fighting for the second time in his career at Barclays Center after he scored a unanimous decision over Carlos Galvan on March 3. He followed that up by beating Javier Francisco Maciel by unanimous decision on Aug. 24 and has faced top middleweights Gennady Golovkin and Billy Joe Saunders throughout his career.

 

 

 

“I’ve been in this position before and it won’t faze me on December 22,” dit Monroe. “This is my third shot at a title, I’m the third Willie Monroe from my family in the line, and having already fought twice for the title, I know that the third time is going to be the charm. There’s a job to be done and nothing about it will be easy. Jermall Charlo is right up there with my past opponents Gennady Golovkin and Billy Joe Saunders, so it’s another tough outing. But it’s definitely a challenge that I’m up for and a challenge that I think I can conquer.”

 

 

 

Jermell Charlo (31-0, 15 KOs) joined his brother as a 154-pound world champion when he scored an eighth-round knockout over John Jackson in 2016 on the same night his brother defended his own 154-pound title. The 28-year-old had previously had previously picked up wins over Vanes Martirosyan, Joachim Alcine and Gabriel Rosado before securing the world title opportunity. The world title fight against Jackson was also Jermell’s first fight training in Dallas with Derrick James, where he will be training for this fight.

 

 

 

Since earning the title, Jermell has successfully defended three times, He delivered sensational highlights-reel knockouts of Charles Hatley and Erickson Lubin in 2017 before putting Austin Trout on the canvas three times in June on his way to a decision victory. This fight represents Charlo’s opportunity to tighten his grip on the 154-pound division.

 

 

 

“This is a super fight for me, bigger than any fight, because I get to be on a big show with my brother and we get to showcase our talents together,” said Jermell Charlo. “En décembre 22, there’s nothing on after us. The 28-year-old Harrison (27-2, 21 KOs) is a top contender in the 154-pound division who looks to make the most of his second shot a world title. Combats de Detroit, Harrison has strung together three straight victories since losing to unified 154-pound champion Jarrett Hurd in 2017 sur la FOX. Harrison’s most recent performance saw him pick up a decision victory over former world champion Ishe Smith in Smith’s hometown of Las Vegas. “Based on my last performance against Ishe Smith, I feel like I’ve earned this opportunity,” M. Harrison. “Jermell Charlo is a terrific fighter. It’s going to be skill-for-skill, and there will be a lot of back-and-forth rounds from round one on. It’s going come down to who is best at sticking to their game plan. It’s hard to get opportunities in this division so I’m going to go in there and leave it in the ring and make it an exciting fight.”

Olympic team at the London games, Breazeale (19-1, 17 KOs) has fought his way into the mandatory contender’s slot in the WBC rankings with impressive knockout victories in his last two fights. After losing a heavyweight title fight against Anthony Joshua in 2016, the 33-year-old knocked out then unbeaten Izu Ugonoh in a February 2017 war before stopping former title challenger Eric Molina in November that year. The Glendale, California-native also owns victories over Amir Mansour, Fred Kassi and Yasmany Consuegra.

 

 

 

“This will my first time back at the Barclays Center in the 13 months since I beat Eric Molina and I’m excited to show the fans that I’m here to stay,” Saïd Breazeale. “Carlos Negron is a big guy and a fellow Olympian. I want to show that I don’t have any ring rust. I’ve been out of the ring, but I’ve lived in the gym and I can box, press the pedal to the metal and get the knockout when the opportunity arises.”

 

 

 

Fighting out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Negron (20-1, 16 KOs) a remporté son premier 13 pro se bat après être devenu pro 2009 following his stint at the 2008 Jeux olympiques. The three-fight telecast features five ShoBox veterans and three fighters who call Philadelphia home. Ennis returns to ShoBox for his second consecutive fight following a statement third-round knockout of then-unbeaten welterweight prospect Armando Alvarez in July. Making a name for himself in Philadelphia with his power and come-forward mentality, Ennis has scored 11 consecutive KO victories including two at 2300 Arène. A standout amateur who was ranked No. 1 à 141 pounds and won the 2015 National Golden Gloves tournament, Ennis narrowly missed the opportunity to represent the U.S. dans le 2016 Olympics after losing a box-off to Gary Antuanne Russell at the Olympic Trials.

The 21-year-old Ennis currently trains under his father Derek “Bozy” Ennis Sr., who also trained his other sons Derek Jr. and Farah, both ShoBox veterans.

 

 

 

The 29-year-old Serrano turned professional in 2007 and rattled off 18 consecutive wins to start his career. Serrano, who will appear on ShoBox for the first time since his 2013 meeting with Emmanuel Taylor, will face his third consecutive unbeaten opponent after a No Contest against Gerome Quigley Jr. and a unanimous decision loss to 22-year-old welterweight prospect Malik Hawkins. Serrano, also from Philadelphia, had an impressive amateur career, winning the national and international Junior Olympic tournaments in 2005 and the Pennsylvania State Golden Gloves in 2006.

 

 

 

“J'ai hâte – this is Philly vs. Philly,” Saïd Serrano. “We are two of the best welterweights going at it. I believe my experience with my new trainer Shadeed Saluki will help me in this fight and I do not think he has been in the ring with anyone like me. I am excited to be on ShoBox because the world will see my talents. Avec une victoire, this will lead me to even bigger fights.”

 

 

 

Sims, a Chicago native, returns to ShoBox after his action-packed split-draw with unbeaten prospect Montana Love in July. Sims suffered the first and only loss of his career against Rolando Chinea via close majority decision on ShoBox a year prior but got back to his winning ways with a unanimous decision over Andrew Rodgers on October 13. A two-fight veteran of the developmental series, Teah scored a unanimous decision over previously undefeated O’Shaquie Foster in 2015 but dropped a majority decision to Montana Love in February, an opponent who Sims Jr. drew with. Ouais, who did not start boxing until the age of 19, scored an impressive first-round knockout of Zach Ramsey his last time out in August at 2300 Arène.

 

 

 

“I will be ready to fight come November 16,” said Teah. “I have seen Kenneth Sims fight. He is fast and was a good amateur. He just fought a draw against the last fighter who beat me, Montana Amour. I am excited about fighting him and I am also excited to be on ShoBox. I always face a higher level of opposition when I am on and ShoBox is always a great showcase.”

 

 

 

The aggressive, come-forward Khegai made his U.S. debut at the 2300 Arena on ShoBox in May, registering the most impressive result of his career with a unanimous decision over Adam Lopez. The undefeated Khegai, who is a former Ukraine national amateur champion and two-time world champion in Thai boxing, made the switch to professional boxing in 2015 and has since compiled a near-perfect record while competing mostly in Russia. Born to Korean parents in Lymanske, Ukraine, the all-action Khegai will make his second ShoBox appearance in search of another statement win.

 

 

 

“I am excited to be fighting in the U.S. sur Showtime,” said Khegai. “I look forward to putting on a memorable performance and cementing myself as a top name in the division. Novembre 16 ne peut pas venir assez vite!”

 

 

 

Jorge Diaz Jr., from New Brunswick, New Jersey, is coming off a significant victory over then once-beaten Adam Lopez, an opponent Khegai also beat via decision. The 31-year-old Diaz, who last fought in November 2017, also boasts impressive victories over Olympic gold-medalist Yan Barthelemy and former title challengers Alejandro Lopez and Emmanuel Lucero. Diaz’s five professional losses have come against opponents that hold a combined record of 88-1-4.

PHILADELPHIA / LOS ANGELES – Octobre 24, 2018 – Brandon Adams advanced to the semi-final round of The Contender on EPIX®.

Adams, 19-2 avec 13 KO, won a five-round unanimous decision over highly-regarded Ievgen Khytov on the most recent episode that aired on Friday night.

In that bout, Adams dropped Khytov in round two with a left hook. Adams continuously beat Khytrov to the punch, and did some of his work on the inside. Adams went on to win by scores of 50-44 et 49-45 deux fois.

Adams will now face the winner of the John Thompson / Eric Walker bout in the semi-final round.

MANILA (Octobre 22, 2018) — Senator MANNY “Pacman” Pacquiao, boxing’s only eight-division world champion, announced today that he has entered into an exclusive agreement to work with manager / advisor Al Haymon. The new alliance will have team Pacquiao and Haymon work together to navigate the remainder of his illustrious career. Pacquiao’s first defense of the World Boxing Association welterweight world title will kick off the new partnership and will have Pacquiao appear on the Premier Boxing Champions series. Pacquiao’s promotion company, MP Promotions, will promote all of his upcoming bouts under this new alignment with Haymon.

 

 

 

MP Promotions will also work with Al Haymon to bring some of the best fighters from the Philippines and Asia to the United States to appear on the PBC series.

 

 

 

“I’m very excited about this new chapter in my career and I’m looking forward to a fresh start. I’m reinvigorated by the prospects of bringing up new fighters under the MP Promotions banner,” Saïd Pacquiao. “My team will work closely with Al Haymon for the remainder of my career to deliver the most anticipated fights with the top PBC fighters. With insults and threats going back-and-forth daily, outspoken Detroit boxing staple Lanardo “Pain Server” Tyner (34-13-2, 21 KOs) and upstart opponent Cortez Chambliss (4-0, 4 KOs) have been escalating hostilities since the day their match-up was announced.

 

 

 

The two Detroit-based welterweights will finally settle their differences in the eight-round main event on Friday, Octobre 26, at the MotorCity Casino Hotel.

 

Tickets priced between $180-$25 and are available through Ticketmaster outlets.

 

 

 

“He’s trying to bunny hop over me, but he’s not ready,” said an animated Tyner. The 43-year-old is known as a fearless and iron-jawed spoiler. A 14-year veteran, Tyner has been the 12-round distance with elite superstar Canelo Alvarez and world champions such as Lamont Peterson and Antonio DeMarco. He’s also taken out a number of prospects who found out too late they were in too deep.

 

 

 

“I can’t believe he even called me out,” continued Tyner. “He’s going to get a beating. This isn’t the amateurs and there are no shortcuts. This is not the door to come through.”
