On a mission to reclaim a world title, Harrison is set to step back into the ring for the first time since his WBO Interim Super Welterweight showdown against Tim Tszyu in 2023. Boxing is in Harrison’s blood as he is a third-generation professional fighter. Son grand-pere, Henry Hank, fought from 1955 à 1972 and retired with a record of 62-31-4, 40 KOs. Henry’s son, Ali Salaam – Harrison’s father and former trainer, now deceased – was a professional welterweight who fought from 1984 à 1989 and retired with a record of 11-6, 5 KOs.

On the current episode of Al Bernstein Unplugged Al welcomes Curtis Hunt, head of House of Boxing Champions and former super welterweight champion Tony Harrison. The trio discusses the work that HOBC does in helping gyms serving amateur boxers.

The House of Boxing Champions helps provide safety equipment and grants for travel to tournaments for local gyms around the country. They are currently working with Tony Harrison’ Super Bad Fitness in Detroit. Curtis and Tony talk with Al on the show about a special event upcoming on Sept. 4 at Super Bad Fitness. Al Bernstein will travel there to be master of ceremonies for the afternoon. Harrison will also be on hand to meet and greet fans. There will be exhibition boxing, raffles to win boxing memorabilia, food and other activities. Undefeated Super Lightweight Sensation Omar Juárez Battles Argentina’s Elías Araujo in FOX PBC Fight Night Co-Main Event & on FOX Deportes This Saturday, Avril 17 from Los Angeles

**SAN ANTONIO, TX.** (Avril 14, 2021) – Undefeated super lightweight sensation **Omar “El Relampago”** **Juárez** will look to continue his ascent up the 140-pound rankings when he takes on Argentina’s **Elías “El Macho” Araujo** in a 10-round showdown that serves as the FOX PBC Fight Night co-main event and on FOX Deportes this Saturday, Avril 17 from Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old Juarez (10-0, 5 KOs) will return to action after a dominant 2020 that saw him add four victories to his resume. This included fighting to eight rounds for the first time, which he did twice in winning unanimous decisions over Dakota Linger and Willie Shaw.

The Brownsville, Texas native most recently dropped Raul Chirino three times in December on his way to a first round knockout victory. Le sien 2021 will kick off with him facing Araujo (21-2, 8 KOs), an Argentine fighter who on paper is the stiffest test of Juarez’s career.

“Je me suis entraîné en Floride parce que je devais avoir faim à nouveau. J'ai fait les changements pour moi. J'étais un an et je devais obtenir mentalement correct. Il m'a réveillé. Je ne l'ai pas besoin d'être à Detroit, ils savent que je suis le champion. Maintenant, je suis prêt à vous battre à nouveau le samedi.

“J'ai eu trois juges qui dit que je gagné, donc je ne pense pas que je dois quoi que ce soit de changement dans mon plan de jeu. Je suis heureux. Je ne me soucie pas de ce que lui et son équipe lui raconte. Je ne dois pas faire quelque chose de différent.

“Il avait 12 tours et ne jamais me berçait, ne m'a jamais trébuché. Il m'a donné tout ce qu'il a. Le même Jermell que vous avez vu dans chaque combat est le même, vous verrez samedi.

“Nous sommes ici une fois encore et encore une fois, je vais exactement ce que je dois faire. C'est ce qui doit être fait pour lui. J'aime tout à propos de ça. Je l'amour tout au sujet de la conversation, les allers-retours, et tout le bruit.

“Jermell a frappé Jorge Cota, alors il est de retour en haut à droite? Je vais l'humilier à nouveau, qui est mon métier. Je vais le soulager de sa douleur. Il agit comme il est le gars le plus fort dans le monde, mais il est contre un animal.

“Il parle beaucoup, mais il doit me voir samedi soir. Vous allez obtenir la même chose que j'ai donné à Jorge Cota. Il m'a donné plus de temps à sortir de la lutte en Juin. Je suis beaucoup plus forte, beaucoup mieux et beaucoup plus vite maintenant.

“Je suis un combattant qui vit et apprend. Je sais comment progresser. Il est bon pour moi, parce que je comprends comment descendre et revenir en haut. Quand je reviens, Je reviens ainsi plus difficile. Ils ont fait le vrai champion viennent de moi.

“Ils savent qu'il est pas sur mon niveau. Ils savent ce que je possède et ce que je fais. Lui ne me goût n'a rien à voir avec ce que je vais faire samedi.
