PALM CITY, Kansas (Septembre 24, 2017) – The name of last night’s “KO Night Boxing: Step Up” event certainly was appropriate as 2016 médaillé de bronze olympique Nico Hernandez had to overcome a major obstacle to remain undefeated at Hartman Arena in Palm City, Kansas.

This is a major event on September 23e that will bring national attention, not only for Nico, but to Wichita.
“We have an opportunity to put Nico, all of Kansas, on the national map in boxing. We have a multi-fight deal to showcase Nico at Hartman Arena. After the September 23e montrer, we’ll announce his final fight of 2017. We need people to turnout September 23e at Hartman Arena to continue promoting Nico at home.”

The extremely sharp Hernandez floored Rodriguez again in the third with a right-left combination but the tough Mexican rose again. The onslaught continued briefly as the Olympian pounded Rodriguez (2-1, 2 KOs), knocking him down for the third time and final time as referee Kevin Champion counted him out at 2:38.
“I came out with a victory, it can’t get better than that,” Hernandez said after the fight. “I put him down a few times. I was happy with my performance. I was trying to get out of her to celebrate with my family and friends.

“I didn’t expect him to keep coming, getting up and still coming forward. I’ll talk to my promoter and coaches and see what’s next.”

Il n'a pas poursuivi Gutierrez, il a effectivement coupé la bague, et sa puissante attaque corporelle était quelque chose qu'il ne faisait pas en amateur. Nous voulions voir comment il réagissait à la résistance et il a réussi ce test avec brio.”
Andersen a noté que son entreprise avait promu plusieurs émissions à succès, notant que la grande différence est que l'émission du week-end dernier mettait en vedette un combattant de classe mondiale à Hernandez. “Faire les Jeux olympiques était un gros problème pour Nico,” Andersen a ajouté, “s'il a médaillé ou non.
