“KO NIGHT BOXING” RESULTS FROM KANSAS
PALM CITY, Kansas (Septembre 24, 2017) – The name of last night’s “KO Night Boxing: Step Up” event certainly was appropriate as 2016 médaillé de bronze olympique Nico Hernandez had to overcome a major obstacle to remain undefeated at Hartman Arena in Palm City, Kansas.

Hernandez weighed in at 113 livres, Baratov was 112, which was the contracted weight. The Kansas Athletic Commission, cependant, automatically allows one-pound over for all non-title fights. Baratov refused to fight but Latchman agreed to fight at a 125-pound catchweight. Hernandez gained four pounds and the fight was on.
Wichita hero Hernandez was unmoved by the late change, largely due to his standout amateur career, in which his opponents often changed at the last moment. KO Night Boxing LLC announced that Hernandez would return Décembre 2 to headline another show at Hartman Arena.

Travis Kauffman revient avec la destruction 1er round sur Carmack

Lecture, Pennsylvanie (Août 18, 2015)–Vendredi soir dernier au Prudential Center inNewark, New Jersey, Heavyweight prétendante Travis Kauffman (29-1, 21 KO) scored a first round stoppage over Richard Carmack in Kauffman’s first fight in 19 mois.

Kauffman a décroché un crochet parfait dès le position de gaucher qui a envoyé vers le bas à Carmack 2:07.

Le combat a eu lieu sur une carte qui a été en vedette par un combat entre anciens champions du monde Antonio Tarver et Steve Cunningham qui a fini par un match nul.

“Je ne pense pas que Carmack aurait frappé dur comme il l'a fait. I went out there with the mindset of going some rounds to work off ring rust. As soon as he hit me with a right hand, Je savais qu'il était fort et je voulais le faire sortir rapidement. The gameplan that we worked on was to go to the body and once I dropped him, Je savais qu'il a été fait,” dit Kauffman.

Kauffman est due retour sur Septembre 18 au Claridge à Atlantic City.

Heavyweight Travis Kauffman retour après 19 mois mise à pied ce vendredi soir contre Richard Carmack à Newark, New Jersey

Lecture, Pennsylvanie (Août 11, 2015)–Ce vendredi soir au Prudential Center à Newark, New Jersey, Heavyweight prétendante Travis Kauffman (28-1, 20 KO) sera de retour en action pour la première fois en 19 mois quand il prend Richard Carmack dans un combat prévu pour huit rounds-.

Le combat aura lieu sur une carte qui est en vedette par l'ancien champion du monde Antonio Tarver et Steve Cunningham.

La carte sera télévisé par Spike TV, bien que le combat de Kauffman est pas prévu de faire air de ce temps.

Kauffman de Reading, PA a été hors de combat en raison d'une opération au genou pour réparer une déchirure du ligament croisé antérieur (ACL).

Kauffman a été rehabbing très difficile pour la meilleure partie de 2015 comme il a commencé son voyage à Houston, Texas et a continué son entraînement de boxe à Reading et à Philadelphie.

“Je me sens bien et honnêtement je suis un peu anxieux,” dit Kauffman. “Je suis plus excité pour ce combat le vendredi, puis un de mes combats antérieurs. Je me suis entraîné très fort. Mon genou se sent bien. Je dois la douleur habituelle qui vient avec la formation, mais rien de majeur.”

En face Carmack, Kauffman sera confronté à un homme qui a un dossier de 13-6 et pèse plus de 300 livres.

“De ce que je l'ai vu de Carmack, il peut se battre. Ne vous laissez pas tromper par son apparence. Il peut se battre. Je travaille vraiment dur et c'est mon premier camp d'entraînement complète avec Naazim Richardson et mon père Marshall Kauffman. Naazim est le meilleur quand il vient à tomber en panne adversaires, donc je sais que je vais être totalement prête à Carmack.”

Avant la blessure, Kauffman a été classé dans le top cinq par la WBA et il croit que ce ne sera pas long avant qu'il remonte en ce statut souverain.

“Je suis l'espoir pour une plus tune up. Possiblement sur Septembre 18 à Atlantic City. Je suis de retour avec Al Haymon donc tout ce qu'il a aligné pour moi. Je sais qu'il va me faire les combats qui va me mettre en position pour les combats que je dois me remettre dans le top cinq. Combats avec Chris Arreola et Artur Szpilka pourraient être ceux ind de combats.”

Kauffman est excité d'être de retour avec Haymon et de rivaliser sur les cartes PBC.

“Je sais qu'il va me rendre là où je dois être. Voilà pourquoi je re-signé avec lui. Il croit en moi. Je suis excité et je suis impatient de ce que l'avenir me réserve.”
